This type of game is not new, unique or out-of-the-box.
Conceptis Puzzles have provided their version of this game for the past decade or two called Link-a-Pix. Originally offered on web browser then also on devices.
This version called Threaded is new to BFG and is nicely done so enjoy if this is new to you.
Nothing new here, played one Domini game, played them all.
This game has all the HO game clichés we are now cursed with... find shaped objects to open locks, build a ladder, scoop some water, pick a lock, ho hum.... Didn't wait around long enough to see if removing rust was a requirement.
My biggest gripe for games - no option to turn off the intrusive pop-out banners announcing your amazing achievements. You found a leaf! You found a fairy! You walked and chewed gum.....
The main characters were annoying to me.
Nice graphics, that's the best thing I can say about this game.
I don't recommend this game.

A Good Game but Only "New" To BFG

Enjoyable adventure game. It originally came out in 5 parts, the first part was released in 2012 - hardly a new game. It has been available on Android and IOS apps for a long time and also available on other game sites before finally making its way to bfg.
I find it amazing that other reviewers are lauding this as "new and innovative" considering its age and that many of the game elements are typical for a good adventure game.
Does this go to show how poor the recent offerings at bfg have been? Or is it a sign that it has been a very long time since there has been a decent adventure game available here?

Elephant Games proudly presents a brand-new series in Ms. Holmes: The Monster of the Baskervilles!
Nicknamed Ms. Holmes for your sharp whit and investigative prowess.....
My investigative prowess is sharp enough to know the difference between whit and wit.... Did I pass the test??
Nothing new or interesting in this game. It is sad that such a classic story has been debased like this.
Roll out the cookie cutter for game plots, puzzles and hidden object scenes. Also includes a big yawn for me - finding various shapes to insert in various shaped indentations to open stuff.
There are the usual 5 star novelette length reviews so try for yourself, you too may enjoy the game.
If people keep buying dross like this big fish will keep them coming off the production line
This is a match three game that reveals more of a story about an author after each level is completed.
Make matches of three or more by joining the same colour tiles from any direction. Has power ups to help and blocks you need to clear that you find in most match three games.
Examples - clear enough of one colour in one go to earn a tile that will clear the entire board of a colour. Do this by combining the super tile with at least two of the colour you want to clear the board of.
Blocks where you need to make matches beside them at least two times to free or clear them
The game play and the story are interesting, I liked the graphics and the voice overs.
What I didn't like - Seeing the clock with the hands going around and around before and after a level is completed, This became annoying to me.
Timed levels - I prefer my levels not to be timed so I can think out my next moves. Trying to finish anything in a game that is timed is more stressful than fun for me.
A nice game and I would have bought it if the clock and timed levels were not part of the game.
What I loved - clear and interesting graphics, great cut scenes which you can watch again, achievements, collect at least 50 of a certain item through out the game. Can also choose the level of difficulty you want to play at. Also liked that there is a map. Interesting story line with some startling moments. A variety of puzzles, some of them quite easy. There's a lot of running around which I like but not everybody does. Overall a well put together game with a lot of attention to detail.
