This is one awesome game. I also own and have beat part 2. They are both totally awesome. I am so disappointed there wont be anymore. I could play these and nothing else as a gamer and be glad of it. Fantastic, challenging and addictive!
Playing this, was like stepping into the Victorian era. The developers really brought that time period to life. This was a fantastic game. The art was flippin' awesome! I HIGHLY recommend this game.
Though I didn't buy the Collectors Edition-that was because I didn't see that it was worth it. I like achievements to be in a room all by themselves and objects representing them, I also like when you can collect puzzle pieces throughout the game to make screen savers, things like this are what makes me buy a CE. This game in CE did not have any of that, so I went with the standard edition.
I am in love with the Jewel Match Solitaire games. They are so detailed, so perfectly challenging, so creative, so amazing...Ahhhhh, I cant wait for the next one. If you love Solitaire, you MUST own this. I also loved the Mahjong on this too. The scenes you build were just heavenly, breathtaking. You can see the detail they have put into this, it must have took years to do, which it probably didn't, but just sayin'. I loved the little hearts animation on the lady and the man in one of the scenes.
The only thing I wish is that you guys would let us keep the wallpapers on our hard drives, instead of setting the background to whichever we save, after you delete the game, you cant choose between the backgrounds and that is disappointing. I want to save all of them to hard drive.
I hope the developers do many more of these, for all occasions, for any occasion. Ill always look forward to these and Ill always buy them. I thought Jewel Match Twilight Solitaire was my fav until I played this one. THANK YOU DEVELOPERS!
This can be one tough game. Its old school and everything is clunky. The game claimed to have an extra level once you unlocked all of the levels but there was nothing. There is a question mark at the bottom of the map and I thought that would be the Bonus, but the question does nothing. I unlocked and beat all boss battles in the game. Either its a glitch, as the game does have glitches where the ball will get stuck ect or I am missing something. Over all a fun brick breaker!
Its so hard for me to find a great Brick Breaker, with good challenge, a story mode, groovy music, great graphics and excellent quality. I really enjoyed this game and it had all of the above. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is just because I would like for it to have been full screen-the play area to take up the whole screen as most brick breakers do, also if you could have seen the coins better when they fall from the bricks. Another thing that disappointed me was how short it was. When the end came, I couldn't believe it. I wish there were more brick breaker games avail and Id love to see a part 2 to this one with a bigger screen.
This was a very challenging brick breaker and I LOVED it!
If you like brick breakers then you have to have this one, and I wish a part 2 existed, Im totally addicted now!
I beat the game, which consists of 15 Chapters, each chapter has 10 levels and after you beat the 10 levels you play against a boss. Oh its challenging all right but its exhilarating! You get a trophy after each boos beat. The game saves your place which is very nice!
There are also Secret Challenge Levels. After you get "Reaxxion" which is getting 3 balls into the orange "X" tube, then Reaxxion occurs, you must hit all of the glowing spheres, once you get 20-25 spheres, you get to the secret challenge level and once there, if you hit enough bricks, then you either get an extra life or an upgrade to weapons and such..
I love all of the games in the Phantasmat series. They are crisp, precise, beautiful. I love the mini games and HOS. I loved the Collectors Edition for all of the Bonus content.
The ending of this game surprised me and actually made me gasp. I dont think Ive ever had an HOG do that to me. I was so surprised at the end.
The only thing I would like to see is the use of more real actors. It really brings a lot to a game, this one did not have that.
However it had a lot of characters for you to help along the way and I like that. HOS games get lonely and I like having a character in the scene with me as I play.
Ive had this game for a while now and only just now played and completed it.
What I loved most about this game was the incorporation of real actors into the game. Its always been one of my fav things about some HOGs. I wish more developers would explore this and add real people into the games. It feels like you are even more deeply involved. It always reminds me of Myst. A popular PC gaming series.
I thought this game was great. It had simple HOS and mini games and some were unique. It had a great hint system, so that if you got stuck, you are quickly helped along. I deff recommend this.
Its an older game but it was a lot of fun! It had lots of creepy moments, the scenes and the voice of the evil guy, coming through on the speakers in each room. Give it a shot!
I loved visiting Paris, London and Prague in this game. The scenes were beautiful. The mini games and HOS were nice but simple most times. Nice voice-overs, great story line. It had a Castlevania vibe. Loved the music too. Very short game. I beat the main game in about 2 hours.
This is one excellent game! I love all of the Surface games, they have such detail and beautiful artwork put into them. This is made by the same peeps who create those Christmas games we look forward to every year. The Christmas Story games.
This is deff worth the collectors edition for all of the bonus content. A lot of fun!
