I liked the first game and was so surprised to see another. This is a gorgeous game! The music was EPIC! I loved every piece of music and so happy that you can download those on the CE version.
The graphics are stunning and crisp, beautiful. Loved the voice overs, the storyline.
Loved the HOS, the mini games. Loved collecting the doves, the crows for extra story scenes. This is worth a CE. I give this 5 stars. Great job developers. Love all of the detail put into this!
I was so surprised to see this standard game is indeed everything a Collectors Edition would have in it. From wallpapers, to extra gameplay, to collectibles and achievements room.
I really had fun with this game. It was a good long game too. Loved the rich detail in each scene. Great hint system. All of the puzzles were fun. I liked the storyline and love when we can play anything that looks Victorian or early 20th century.
Took me 2 days to finish the main game and the Bonus level. I did not collect all of the hidden symbols, I missed them by 2. You need all of them to open a secret room. So I was mad at myself for not paying enough attention in finding those.
I love the humor in this game between the detective and you the player as well as the Detective and the suspect and witnesses.
I really thought the sound effects, the music were cool as heck. A lot of fun!
Lots to do, achievements to earn, places to go. I love the customization as well on the cards and that you level up to unlock more card options, like changing the colors of the cards on screen and changing the graphics too.
Beautiful graphics, Love the music, love how you can upgrade yourself with charms and also building the village. That was one of the most fun things about this game was the little village. It is so satisfying when you have finally beat the game, when you have all of the buildings and areas open and complete.
I liked that you could replay any level, thus allowing you to obtain more than one or 2 stars, as 3 are needed to have each level beat, though you can continue to move on regardless. You do have to have a certain number of stars though to advance into some parts of the game. I played this game over a matter of months, and it was a blast. Finally beat it and it deff has replay value. Ill dig this one back out next year.
Absolute breath taking, fantastic, superb, superior, best game of the past 10 years as far as I am concerned. Deff worth the CE as well. This is EPIC, momentous!!!!! Love the epic music too, this game is like being in a movie. I am giving the game developers a standing ovation! Great job. So much was put into this one. No laziness at all. Love finding the little space ships too! My new fav game!
Everyone is frightened by the sights and sounds of something large stumbling through the darkness. Can you solve the mystery before the monster adds another chapter to this legend?
I really enjoyed this game. A nice long game too. I loved the characters, the history, the shop where you could buy memento's. I absolutely loved the coin finding, eater egg finding, the graphics in the woods, the passageways and the castle in general. This will always be one of my favs. I loved the voice overs too very well done! 5 star game.
I thought this was an amazingly beautiful and stunningly fantastic game. I love the story line, you can get totally lost in the Botanica world and not want to come back out. Fantastic HOS, mini games, graphics, the music, the cut scenes, the voice overs. All 5 star worthy! Cant wait for the sequel.
I really loved this one. It wasn't as hard as previous games however I still have to use strategy guides to get through completely. Ive had to do that with all of my Nancy Drew games. I only cheat when its pertinent however.
I loved the Waverly Academy. The various rooms and the academy itself, the grounds, the characters all of that scenery was highly well done. I loved it all. The puzzles weren't too hard but there were a few doozies. I loved the snack bar, that was a whole lot of fun, filling up trays with whatever was on the menu for the students. I loved all of the references to Poe, I am a Poe lover, so I was happy about all of the great info we learn about him(fact) and the history of the Academy and its inhabitants(fiction)This I would say is my fav Drew game, though I really loved when Nancy takes us along to Japan. I loved the Ireland visit as well.
I loved everything about this game. I loved the scenery--just breathtaking in some locations. I loved the music, it was not repetitive or boring, it was spot on. I loved the HOScenes, fantastic, I loved the mini games and they were all full of fun.
I must say I especially loved this Collectors Edition for the fact of the replay value. I loved the bonus game and the Secret Room--that was a lot of fun. I loved collecting all of the portraits for the Collectors Room. I missed one and was so mad at myself, as there is no reason to miss those because it has an incorporated Strategy Guide.
I liked the Achievements room as well. I like when achievements are put into a room of their own and you earn objects that count as your achievements. For instance you found "5 hidden objects in 5 seconds", so you earned the vase of flowers in the achievements room. I love when developers take the time to create these rooms. It is the only reason I buy Collector Editions period. Unless it has 20 desktop backgrounds that you can SAVE and music you can download along with screensavers. All of which were in this CE with the exception of the Screen Saver. Loved this game and it is deff worth paying for the CE!~
I think you can beat this game in about an hour and a half to 2 hours. It was miserable. Hint system is poor, it doesn't take you directly to anything if you cant find an object or figure out where to go next. The cut scenes are not in sync with the audio. I did like the graphics as this is the whole reason I bought this game I thought it would be great. Wrong. Yeah, this one is a doozy, I was glad to see the end come along when it did.
