I loved this game so much I wish I had gone for the CE. The graphics are great, the people aren't overly chatty, the story is interesting, and THERE IS A MAP...a deal breaker for me.
I can't say interested in this game for very long a time, only keep going back so I can complete it and delete it. It really needs a map feature that tells you where the action is and tele-port you there. The HOS are good, and the graphics are good but I don't know what I am supposed to do or where I am supposed to do it....help is the only way to progress and that is no way to get through a game. Wish I had only bought the SE version and not wasted my dough on CE.

I don't recommend this game.

I enjoyed these unusual HO scenes, to get one item you use another item and each is dependent on another, cool beans. I only wish BF had a plan for buying into the CE version after completing the SE.
An old woman tricks Melissa into wearing a cursed ring that makes her go into an everlasting sleep. Use magical potions and spells to save her from the curse!
I played the trial for an hour and found it to be a good game, it kept my interest, the HOS were not too difficult and I liked how the hint was a HINT and not a total giveaway. Even though it is not a GREAT game like the Puppet Show series I will still buy the game.
Return once more to the haunted grounds of Ravenhearst Manor to uncover new details about this poignant saga. What you find could very well be the final chapter of this riveting story-if you escape.
I could not get through this game without frequent trips through the strategy guide, back and forth, trying to figure out what I missed in previous chapters, WHY? Because there are no hints for the game play, only for the HOS which are tiresome because you have no idea what you are looking for. But after several false starts where I became so frustrated I would delete the game only to re-load it and try again I finally got through to the end. It was worth the effort since I already bought it. The graphics were really good and the story intriguing. I think they should stick to or at least integrate some of the traditional type HOS into it and provide some guidance with the hints.
The hidden objects on the pirate ship are so well hidden that half of them are invisible until you randomly click on the correct spot. I otherwise loved the game.
