I read other reviews and almost didn't download this one, but I'm glad I did.
I did not have issues such as not being able to figure out the game and issues with the dialog. If you read it all before starting your quests you'll be fine. I did see that if during the tutorials (on a replay for gold) if you try to rush ahead of what the characters are telling you to do it makes it very hard to see the game as some parts are highlighted, others not. Just be patient and all will be fine. You can turn off the hints each level as well.
The characters do need to be told to go to a house and back to base, but it isn't a significant amount of clicking to me. You also don't need to click and hold, but just click the house then the base and your worker will happily travel along. Don't forget to buy extra help and visit the trader often or you'll never get gold on some levels.
Overall this was a fun game. The story was a bit strange, but I tend to click through them anyway.
I'm glad other reviewers have clarified that this is NOT a kiddie game. When I first saw them I groaned and moved on. I thought a second and went to look at reviews as TM games are so few and far in between. I'm glad I did.
This game is cutesy, but it's also challenging. You cannot follow the same strategy for each level, which makes it that much more fun for me to play.
There are plenty of levels and multiple 'worlds' to keep you interested.

I love this series, and 4 does not disappoint!
Gameplay is fun, yet challenging. I had to play some levels again and again to get gold. The same strategy does not work on every level which I think is great. As you go on you will have new locations with new types of obstacles (vikings, Egypt) so for me it never got boring or repetitive.
The graphics are nice and I love when you click and it sounds like the character says 'yoink!'
As a seasoned TM game lover, I found this one was lacking. The challenges never got higher as you progressed. I felt like I was playing a large tutorial.
The graphics leave a bit to be desired, and the timing seemed off. For example if you need 2 food to be able to complete an action you have to wait often a few seconds after your hero returned with the food before you could move. I often had to click 3 or 4 times with no hero's out before the action would 'take'
If you have never played a TM game, this may be a good one to start with to see what it's all about, but if this is your style, don't waste your money.
At first this game is hard to follow. The icons all look the same and the instructions leave a little to be desired.
However, once you get the hang of it, the game is pretty fun. The mini games are a good break, and I liked that the spiders would laugh at you if you messed up in one.
If they improved the graphics I would say this is a 5 star game.
I LOVED the characters and the flow of the game. I am a huge DinerDash fan and generally look at similar games with a cocked eye. I was very impressed with this one.
If I had to find a negative it is that occasionally the character's thought bubbles overlapped with a neighbor's head and it was hard to tell what they asked for.
Another plus is that you could skip a level and go back later which I needed a few times.
I'm sad as the art is adorable. It would be a fantastic game except for one thing. The movement within the panel. Unlike most games where you click and drag to see side to side, this game follows your cursor. I found this very difficult to play and got frustrated.
I still recommend it as this may not be a problem for others and it seems like a fun brain teaser game.
This game is fun and challenging. I am a big fan of the whole series.
I have played through multiple times and for me it never gets old. Changing your strategy not only for each area but each level within the area is a must.
I hope the developers keep this line going forever1
