Not Really for Young Girls Under 10
Despite it's appearance it not really a young girls game in timed mode. It has some really difficult levels I thought I would never get the 3 star award. In no timed mode it's entertaining and teaches logic.
The graphics are good but not exceptional. The music is varied orchestra but largely does not fit the game theme. The game play is challenging with some levels really challenging. Fortunately it has a decent strategy guide that can be loosely followed. It has a play tutorial that can be turned off.
As you play along you get some handicap bonuses to enhance playing.
It has jewel easter eggs tied to a graphic. You do not need to play the game in timed mode to complete the graphic, just find all the jewels some of which are hard to find without the strategy guide.
There are 50 levels in all. The extras is just wall papers.
I recommend this game!

The graphics are basic, pasty, bare. In windows mode it shrinks to half size. The mood music is orchestrated, varied, not bad. The game play is basic. It does have bonus aides like worker speed and time freeze that come with winning levels.
It's in timed mode period, but acheiving the 3 star award is not difficult although sometimes tricky.
There is no stratagy guide, just a built in tutorial that can be turned off. There are no easter eggs. You can't turn off the dialog in settings.
The game is good for the younguns and will teach them to apply logical thinking.
I recommend this game!

Pretty much the same game except new levels to solve. Graphics remain very good. I has the usual wide variety of mood music, orchestrated and electronic. The extras section this time had only wall paper downloads.
You have the usual hidden puzzle easter eggs to find. You have to find them all to play the bonus levels per area sections. There are no easter eggs in the bonus levels available only in the CE version. You have indicators that tell you when they are in a level and when they are found.
You can play all the levels in easy no time mode but you won't get to build the graphic picture unless you complete the level in one of the 2 timed modes with 3 stars awards. You can change time modes per level on the fly.
As you go through the levels you earn handicap play bonus advantages.
The strategy guide is built in walk-through guide of arrows pointing the next moves as you advance through the levels. You can change the play speed of the game via the configuration menu in each level of slow, normal, or fast bar. You can play in no window mode or window mode via configuration menu.
This game has more challenging levels, I had to use the walk-throughs to solve some of the advanced levels. You don't have to follow it exactly to get the 3 star awards. The picture this time was not very interesting and I was unable to copy it. I was able to get 3 stars in all levels in normal timed mode.
One you complete the main levels you have 2 extra bonus levels in the CE version. I always like to get the CE version for the extra features. A very good game to pass the time.
I recommend this game!

I haven't play this game series in a year. The graphics are good. The mood music selections are instrumental, not bad overall.
The game play is kind of funky, after awhile the game just freezes for a while intermittently and then continues. Rebooting the game solves that problem for a while.
You have 2 modes- timed and untimed. I first played the game untimed straight through. You don't get that much help on the built in tutorial especially on various production facility requirements, you learn that by playing.
You can't skip out on the dialogs.
The strategy guides are bare bones and are not always accurate. On level 23 the guide is screwed up on the procedure and requirements. It's impossible to finish the level within the allotted time for 3 star awards. I stopped playing in timed mode at that level.
It has a bonus accrual feature where you get a point after each level completed to spend on various bonuses. There are no easter eggs in this game.
I will not recommend this game but I won't condemn it either. You can play it in untimed mode but you won't get all the extras as the timed mode is screwed up.

Graphics are good at a cartoon level. Music has a western flavor but it's the same boring track. The story is kind of interesting but not that good. The main play is challenging, but the upper bonus levels are too much in that you are going for hug accumalated money stass via taxes from many buildings and other sources.
You can get playing bonuses but exactly how is not clear, most of the time you don't get them. Bonus level 9 has a flaw, you don't have access to a special building needed to win that level.
The easter eggs are hidden treasure chest and bonus play jars whoes location are revealed by little sparkles which are hard to detect most of the time. You have to finish the level once found to keep them. You have 3 timed modes from untimed to hard. You can't disable dialogs, you have to skip them. Can't save level progress when exiting.
I am not impressed with this game.

People who are familiar with this game series appreciate the development that the creators put into it to make it a winning success. Same great, colorful graphics; new variety of variety background orchestrated music, not bad nor boring; and a new bonus selection on the interface. The levels are pretty much all new.
The interface has all the options you would expect on a well designed game interface. As before there are 3 time modes- relaxed (no time), easy and hard. In relaxed you just have to finish the game to get the 3 stars. That opens up all the extras
Some levels has hidden puzzle pieces that once found you need not find again if you have to return to finish the game later or replay it.
The game has a fairly good strategy guide for each level that can be loosely followed. It also has a built in hints feature that can be disabled in options.
Now the bad disappointing part. There are 4 levels I found impossible to achieve the gold award in the easy time mode. After several tries around the strategy guide I gave up. No walkthroughs yet on the web that I could find. Maybe after several months one will appear.

The graphics are good but basic. You can play it in a windows mode that is of decent size. The mood music is orchestrated, mellow and diverse.
The the upper levels are very challenging past level 10 in timed mode. You can easily get a gold star on all levels in untimed mode. I was able to achive gold stars in timed mode up to level 25 where it seemed I could never get gold star at that level. I tried and tried, I even followed an external walk-through but was unable to get the gold star award. So I gave up at that level for getting the gold star, just not enough time. There were no bonuses to help out.
The game has a stratagy guide that is detailed but screwed up. It offers a good tutorial on playing the game. There are no easter eggs. You can't turn off the dialog in settings. After achieving all levels you can go to extras and play bonus levels in the challenges selection.
I will not recommend nor condemn this game as others may find the game entertaining and even achieve all 3 stars in timed mode.

The game's play is kind of funky. The graphics are decent but not great. You can play in a windows mode that is of decent size. The pirate sounds added to the excitement of the game but the music is redundant. It's orchestrated, the main interface is a soppy buccaneer theme while in the game play it's a tropical soppy theme.
The challenges are very daunting in the upper levels past 1-5. On some levels you have this pirate that tries to sneak in and set fire to structures. Sometimes he's hard to click away.
You have 2 time modes: 1 is relaxed where you can play the game to the end without wining the 3 skull awards, 2 is normal where you must win the 3 skulls to advance to the next level.
With each level completion you win gold toward the purchase of bonuses to help in the winning of a level. So if you don't get the 3 skulls the 1st round you can go back to try again. Also in each level are buried treasure to contribute to the bonuses. Some of the treasures are easy to find and others are harder, can be hidden. If you don't find them all on the first round you can go back to get them on the replay.
The way I played it is I didn't worry about winning the 3 skulls on the first round and just concentrated on finding all the treasures and getting the bonuses. Once a treasure is found you need not find it again on the replay. That makes returning back and getting the 3 skulls easier. By this method was able to get 3 skulls for all levels.
There are 4 areas and between each area is an arcade level. They look easy but are tough. I was not able to get 3 skulls on those except for 1 and found the others to be more frustrating than fun. I'm not fond of arcade anyway.
The game has this strategy guide that is hardly a guide at all. It offers a good tutorial on playing the game. It shows the location of things, including the treasures, but in small panes that are not labeled. It however offers no walkthrough approaches. Also missing in the game is the labels for each level. You have to go to the map level to see where your at.
The game developers had no sequels nor links to other games. I think they hit a big reef navigating through the market waters. I think with improvements the next version could have been more successful. I will not vote this game up or down.

Pretty much the same game except new levels to solve and new arcade side-games. The last arcade game is a real brain buster. Graphics remain very good. Western flavored music has improved and expanded.
The big difference of this game is filling the requirements of vegetable harvesting which makes some levels very challenging.
You have the easter eggs owls to find, now animated. Once found you need not find again on the replay. 3 time modes from no timing to hard timing and you can change modes at the map level per play.
As you go through the levels you earn play bonus advantages. They are in 4 columned categories and you select 1 of 3 choices in the category columns for what works best per level. Once earned you can retain them for replays on previous levels.
On some levels you have clues to find that the game provides during the play. The clues are then posted on a graphics board. Sometimes the clues are hard to find and you have to catch them when available or they soon will disappear. The nature of the clues are covered in the strategy guides
Many levels are very difficult and likely will take time, in timed mode, to master and beat the clock. It has strategy guides that are helpful but may no give you the best approach and they don't tell you what are the best bonuses to use on any level. There are online walkthroughs.
It has 6 side arcade games presented when several levels are completed as in previous game series. 5 are vegetable matching, of which the last 2 are very challenging and very hard to complete to beat the clock, and the last one is a shoot-em-up in the bonus section. You don't get anything from them but perhaps an award and bragging rights.
I completed all levels in the allotted normal time mode but could not complete the 5th arcade game in the allotted timed mode. It's not necessary to complete the game in timed modes, just an awards thing.
I recommend this game!

Graphics are passable at a cartoon level. Music is an orchestra of loosely appropriate theme, not rousing to me but pleasant.
The play would be good accept that in order to speed of processes like building or production requires you to frenziedly click the right mouse button on the object. I hate games that require that sort of action as it's hard on the mouse button and can prematurely wear out your clicker. For that reason I did not try to win all levels at gold achievement. And also for that reason I don't recommend this game.
The game has 1 timed mode and achieving that is very hard on many levels. So you will find this game very challenging if not frustrating.
There are no easter eggs or extras. The interface is somewhat awkward.
I will not recommend nor condemn this game.
