A fun colorful game for young and old.
Basically you can play 2 games, solitaire or mahjong games to get clues, or just one of them. The solitaire game is the most challenging. After you get the clues a comparison chart comes up with the suspects and clues, you try and sleuth out the clues to find the guilty suspect.
For a detective game I would personally prefer a more complex clue like game to sleuth out the guilty one or ones.

A fun, colorful game for preteens, but impossible for 3 stars past level 23. Graphics are good, non offensive puritan quality music is conventional, boring. You can play- through without getting 3 stars to the bonus game in casual mode. In normal time mode their is just enough time for getting 3 stars, except for level 24 & 26 and beyond that I gave up on trying to get 3 stars as it seemed impossible the way the game was set up.
If I had 30~60 sec more time I could have made 3 stars on each of the 2 levels I played it all kinds of ways and even played by a walk-through on the forum and I still end up shy of 3 stars. Nowhere can I find any one who did get 3 stars at that level.
Many time limit games are good for developing logic skills that become useful in later life for kids. Got for brain stimulation for seniors also.
Best to play in the casual mode to get a feel for each level while finding objects. Then in normal mode you can play for 3 stars while not having to worry about finding objects.
The later games in this series has object finds for bragging rights. Some of them have points earning to build a place or object.

This is a fun, colorful game. Graphics are good, music is redundant. You can play- through without getting 3 stars to the bonus game. The bonus game is exceptional as it is based on strategy, not timed. You have to select what defenses are needed in the play- through to prevent the enemy from breaking through the route. Neet.
Some of the scenarios are real tough to get the 3 star bragging rights and 3 are just in time. The last scenario is a real mind twister and takes a real tight action plan. I had to play some levels 30~40 times to figure out the best way to 3 stars, and that was with a youtube guide. I generally don't like the tight games, it gets too frenetic, I like strategy over frenetic clicking. I had to ad lib on the guide. Sometimes you can do better then the guides.

Pure strategy, no time limits.
After playing this game 65% through I can see way it didn't get a favorite flame rating. It's monotonous and graphics are pasty and it a trying game to play.
When I got to the level where lightening was destroying the structures now and then, the management and upkeep got too tedious. I blew it off. And I hate games that only have a 1 track music playing.

This is a nice, fun game for preteens, teens and even adults looking for diversion. Some will love it. I played the casual version, it was timed but can be played through to timeout. The normal mode doesn't appear to be any different.
The graphics are very good and of vibrant quality at a cartoon level. No voice-overs. Only one music track. There is no play help except for the play tutorial which can be turned off.
The levels are challenging to figure out. Fortunately, you have the walk-through if you get stuck or frustrated.
It's got a village that you can not only build up but get enhance play bonuses to help you get through a level. The bonuses are bought though the stars you earn on each level so it is advisable to max out on the stars earned to get those bonuses.

I basically didn't like this game, it didn't have a help file past the basic tutorial starter. The procedure for making or getting some things is not clear. It's interface is quirky and awkward. The clothing outfitter building is ridiculous on choices.
Delegating skills and advantages to villagers was a roulette wheel and quirky at that. Advancement comes too slow. Crafting and making stuff was ambiguous, not really based on the real world.
It's more of a game for those that have nothing better to do but have some silly diversion fun, usually the younger, preteen crowd. It's not a game for a strategic, oriented person and takes way too much time managing and tracking.

It's colorful, good graphics, good animation, good playing interface, but has some cheesy, atmospheric music. Lack of info on playing the game, especially the Clicker game.
In untimed mode it's easy- peasy, just keep playing until objectives are reached. You get 2 building cycles at the rail yard after each level is complete. Nothing to it.
Under the timed mode it's quite different. It gets more and more challenging to complete on time. I am stuck on level 28 and it seems no mater how many branch decisions I make I just don't quite make it, need another 30 seconds. Just darn aggravating. No walkthrough for that level exists yet. Finally figured it out, have to be very careful how resources are obtained. It's just in time and so are some levels following that. If you can figure out level 28 you can figure out the rest. I finished all levels in the timed mode but received no special awards or bonuses.
The click arcade side feature is just meaningless, just seems to go on forever with no clear objective except a final monetary achievement. Some kind of clickbate joke. You can purchase unloaders and just let er run while in the game but not outside it. Cheesy!
I would get it free but don't buy it. They could do better. Good for a rainy day.

This Game series is fun and challenging, it has colorfull, balanced graphics. The transition story panels unfortunately are not in color.
What's nice is once you figure out the strategy of a level you have enough surplus time to complete it at 3 stars. There are only awards, no building a structure or collecting items. You can play through on casual with no penalty.

This is quite a fun game series to play. It's colorful, has good graphics and a decent, musical repertoire. The musical repertoire expands on the seceding game series. The game play is pretty much straight forward.
As a side attraction you add to a building structure with each puzzle piece found per level as well as completing that level, you don't have to be in normal or expert mode.
You have 3 modes of play- casual with no time limit, normal with achievable time limit, and extreme for the mad TMG gamers.
