Awesome artwork this time around, it didnt hurt my eyes (Like the last game from this series i played) as usual the animations were amazing, and the imp's movement lifelike. Although i have to admit he is getting kind of annoying, but i did like the little guitar thing he does for us in the hud, i just wish he could play the guitar trough the entire game, i would have enjoyed that..
I really like the developers took the time to explain what happened to the main characters in the previous games, so the new players dont feel like thrown into something they dont understand.
The hops were varied (i particulary enjoyed the upside down one) and the puzzles also, although they werent that challenging to do ( at least for me). I didnt like all the running around, especially when you open a new scene, you dont have to anything to do in it, but you have to go back, get something, and then return to the new scene to do something...
I dislike recycled hop's (using one hop two times) , since i always enjoy seeing new things.
I would have given this game a lower rating because of the gameplay itself (and the voiceovers which were horrible), but the animations and the artwork of the scenes and the characters made the grade go up.
I recommend this game for the casual player who enjoys stories about witches and loves going trough every corner of a place many times in order to progress trough a story.
The art of this game is amazing, animations clever, cutscenes cinematic and i really enjoyed the mini puzzles (especially the one with the fishing, it was really fun to do) . we're put in the shoes of a detective, investigating a murder which we "committed". So we're running about gathering clues about this murder till we manage to piece up the evidence and find out what really happened. Im new to the series, so the only 'bad' thing about this game is not letting in the new players on what is going on.. We can time travel aand people cant see us, but we can interact with objects? i was really confused at the beginning of the demo, when this transition happened, but caught on quickly. Hope the rest of the game is as good as the demo.
The graphics of this game was just real bad.. I guess it wasnt meant for bigger res screens because it really hurt my eyes how pixelated some area's were.. The only thing that was really great were the animations, the imp was well done, and all the magic elements (The iron golem) they were really animated well. The gameplay was just ok, a lot of backtracking, going around, finding seals and stuff, the usual, it wasnt really challenging, nor inovative.. The story involved a typical teenage girl who ran away and refuses to let us help her (even if we had shown our intention to help her with her quest) she just kept throwing magical blocks at us that we had to remove, and on top of that something stole our helper so we lost that too ;s i dont recommend this game since it gave me a headache after playing the demo (and this almost never happens, and i play a lot of various games)
As usual the graphics and animations and sound were great (although graphics was really bad in some area's), the biggest problem i had was the gameplay. It was slow, not intuitive, had me chasing circles, and also did a lot of the things for me (a lot self assembling items), and a lot of things just didn't make any sense story wise.
A cop that doesn't chase after a murder suspect (instead has to do a lot of hops and puzzles) to go trough doors with a ton of seals that open every lock, run around circles doing trivial tasks ,instead of chasing after the culprit who is trying to escape (but don't worry he's hiding in a closet so he wasn't going anywhere)...
The gameplay just doesn't help the story, it slows it down a lot, and it was hard for me to get involved with the story when there were so many trivial obstacles frustrating me and blocking the way (and also a TON of seals i had to collect to open everything)..
I was really hoping for a good murder story (The whole investigation and getting clues from the body and the suspects was great) but the other aspects of the gameplay just ruined it for me.
This game is just gorgeous! From amazing artwork to fun and interesting puzzles , awesome gameplay and epic story! This was an instant buy, seeing it was sci-fi (with a mix of 50's). I just wish there was even more sci-fi in it! Hope to see that in the future sequels of this game ;) and more exo-suits!
I enjoyed playing this demo, the artwork is great, music fits the creepy theme, and the cutscenes were quite movie like/cinematic. The story shows promise, all the grownups in a small town have vanished, and its up to you to find them. I especially enjoyed the fact that we drove a motorcycle ;) (and the main menu splash art)
The puzzles were average, ho's required the usual ,find object that fits the shape, and a rather interesting voice Hop that shed some light on the situation trough narrative and gameplay. The mini flashbacks were quite nice too, they added to the eerie atmosphere of the game, since everything was deserted now...
I disliked the going back and forth this game had, but i guess that's a standard game mechanic these days.
The thing i disliked the most is the little girl .I know she is supposed to resemble Alma (fear) or Samara (the ring) , but the gimmicky expression she always had made her seem less human and more cartoony, which in turn made her less scary. At least for me.
I recommend this game!

Shadow Wolf Mysteries: Tracks of Terror Collector's Edition
Can werewolves be cured, or will one family’s curse continue?
Loved the theme, the curse of the werewolves that befell on a small town, carried by generations of male descendants in a rich family..The entire part about talking to the spirits of the werewolves that were deceased delighted me, finding out about their death and history, i hope there is more of these in the continuation of the full game.. The werewolves themselves seemed quite scary, well animated . I liked the interface, it reminded me of an rpg game or an old fantasy game, but i disliked the windows in which the items popped up. The design could have been toned down a bit for a more pure/simplistic value. The music was nice too (especially the worms:armagedon'esque one ;) ) .
The artwork was great, in few places could use improvements, but it fit the whole 'fairytale' - curse thing going on. Although perhaps a bit of a desaturated color palette could have fit the game better.
The things i disliked about the demo are the reusing of few elements (like the book had a hop twice and that cabinet had a hop twice also). I dislike having to go trough 'junk' twice to get what i need... And the voice actors could have been a bit more..alive. The difficulty was average, i had no problem steamrolling trough everything with few mild hiccups.
Also i hope we find out more about our detective character later in the game, that magical tattoo looks awesome!
The game looked promising, the visuals were allright, i especially enjoyed the clever animations happening in the ui and the gui of the game, especially the hop's. They were interesting to solve, although at some point quite easy (got the 'chievs quite fast).. The major problem i had with the demo is the pace...a lot of going back and forth.I got lost in all the items, and had to use the hint button many times (which i usually avoid to do) because the gameplay wasnt that intuitive...And the seals...Oh good lord the seals. Almost every lock has a seal or emblem of some kind that i need to find 2 scenes forward or 2 scenes backward. I recommend this game for the casual player or someone who enjoys mysteries with ghosts and 'phantasmats' or has a lot of time on their hands to carefully go trough everything or doesnt shy away from the hint button ;) for me its a no go.
From the start this game seemed quite intriguing from the graphic point of view, with stunning visuals, cinematic cutscenes and 3d animations that were seamlessly integrated into the game. I love the flare effects it has almost everywhere, making it seem almost like a movie, the only thing that kind of ruined that feel for me is the amount of things you are required to do to progress further. But i guess that can be taken as a part of the twisted 'game' the main antagonist is playing against us, making us do so many things before we can progress further.Or it could be taken as a standard hop'a approach to game design.. This game reminded me of a milder version of saw and outlast which i enjoyed (since i knew my character couldn't actually get hurt).
