I was enjoying this game until I got to level 12. On my Mac, the game crashes as soon as you click on the level.
I also agree with the reviewer who hates the statement the characters make every time you assign a task ("On my way", etc). It is so annoying. I would turn off the sound, except I use the sound to know when resources have dropped.
But until they fix this on Mac, it is unplayable.
I don't recommend this game.

Like others I was having trouble with level 46. The goals say to drain the fuel from 4 planes, but there are only 3 planes available. I tried the level a couple of time and finally figured out the problem.
The goal should say "Arrest marauders (4)". If you pay attention you will notice that the fuel count goes up when you arrest a marauder, NOT when you drain the plane. If you arrest ALL the marauders on the level, you should be able to get through the level.
I recommend this game!

I was enjoying the game until I got to mission 11. It cannot be completed and the strategy guide is missing the applicable steps for the level. A potion is needed that you do not have the correct resources for. This brings the game to a complete halt.
I don't recommend this game.

Fun game, but bonus level 8 is short 10 wood. It is impossible to finish the level, which means you can't play the remainder of the bonus levels. Please fix this bug!!

I have played most of the other games in this series and have enjoyed them. Bear in mind that I have only played in relaxed mode so far.
This game has many new features that I really liked. Some of them are as follows:
The fire tile feature - if you keep making matches, eventually the game will show you 2 fire tires. You much make matches beside the furthest tile, which spread the fire. Keep matching and spreading the fire until you get to the tile near the bee. Sadly the instructions for this make no sense, because they show up when there is only one fire tile showing. Like others I struggled for quite a while trying to understand until finally the other fire tile appeared and then the light bulb came on for me.
Sometimes you need to make matches on the same row that contains the tile with arrows on it. I also did not understand this one for quite a while. I thought you had to make matches on that side of the board, until I finally got it through trial and error. I read the instructions for this one quite a few times and it didn't make sense to me.
There is another feature where the tile blocking the bee has several green squares and a number on it. This one means that every tile on the visible screen needs to be unblocked (i.e. not longer has a blue background, and has honey flowing behind it). This was another confusing one in terms on instructions. I originally thought that the number was either the number of chains or just the number of tiles in the chain. It took me a while to understand that the number only decreased by the number of tiles that switched from a blue background to a honey background when the chain was created.
One other new feature are the poisoned squares, which are brown with green fragments on them. Every single one of these squares must be removed in order to progress. These instructions were the only ones that were clear to me right off the bat.
The reason I give it 4 stars rather than 5 is something that most other reviewers have mentioned: the instructions are terrible. I reread most of them numerous times, but only understood through a lot of frustrating trial and error. But once the game is understood I found it very enjoyable.
I recommend this game!

Where to start?
The good stuff: some of the puzzles were very challenging. I wish there had been more of them.
The bad stuff: the graphics were truly awful. It looked like grainy pictures cut from a magazine and pasted on to a background.
The HOP scenes were all the old-school find fragments. I was able to find most of the fragments without looking at the list.
The game was very short - which was kind of a positive for me, as I was getting very weary of it.
The map in the second half of the game showed that every scene on the right half of the map had an available action, which was not true. It meant the map was unusable from there to the end of the game.
Several times I got a message that my inventory was full, so I was unable to pick up items until I used other items! I don't know why the developer did not put scroll bars in the inventory.
The sounds were strange. After completing a puzzle I would sometimes get a loud clunking noise or a growling type of noise. Very disconcerting. There were also very loud footsteps when moving from room to room, which I also found annoying.
I had several technical glitches as well, which tells me that the QA on this game was lacking.
So due to the poor graphics, the weird inventory behavior, the boring HO scenes, the misbehaving map, the startling noises and the technical glitches I cannot recommend this game.
I don't recommend this game.
