The game consists of only 4 levels that mainly test your ability to move the cursor quickly. Some of the animal facts given are wrong. For kids age 3-5 the level of challenge is ok, older kids might be bored. It would be more interesting if real animal facts were tought and then used in the game.
The story line is pretty simple: You are a little fairy working for mother nature. In order to provide natural balance you have to plant flowers and bushes next to bad plants. Also you have to drive away bad animals. The landscape is nicely drawn. Although I only played the 1 hour test version I really liked it. Of course it's not a very action filled, fast paced game but it's nice to chill and relax a little. I recommend the game to children also.
A stupid uninteresting story about a growling dog and a silly talking mole. Stupid tasks and a hint button that only serves to confuse you. But worst of all: a totally annoying story teller voice that keeps on blubbering all the time. All I wanted was to shut him off. Worst game ever!
Since I already loved the prequel I was really excited to see that Castaway 2 is out now. And I have to admit I really love it more than the prequel. In this game you take over the role of a young tribesman who has to solve riddles in order to find his way in life. Exciting gameplay, a nicely drawn new island and many new things to discover. Although the tasks like crab hunting and fruit picking basically follow the ones in the prequel, it really makes you want to find out more about the island...
A HOG that gets the whole family in the mood for Christmas. Nice levels mixed with fun mini games. I recommend it especially for children. Visual quality is excellent but the music gets annoying after a while.
