I have really enjoyed all the previous Hiddenverse games but this ... as my title suggests, I'm not sure it is a real Hiddenverse game.
Sure, it does have some of the elements of previous HV games I recognise like the actual clutter type scenes and collecting the crystals but the rest of it? Awful.
Dialogue was far too much and too ... forced (it's the only description I can think of) which other reviewers have also mentioned. And those awful mini-games, well.... no thanks. They were different, admittedly, but I didn't find them fun at all, not like the ones in previous HV games.
I'm really glad I didn't just go and get the full version of the game without trying the demo first!
The Kingdom is in chaos! Lady Sarah, the savior of the kingdom has been poisoned! It's up to you to find the culprit in this exciting hidden object adventure.
I have the other Hiddenverse games and I really enjoyed them. They are fun, and really get you to want to keep playing. I really enjoyed this one as well ... up until level 90+. I realise the developers may have been trying to make the game more challenging, but I think they may have gone a little too far with these last few levels. I enjoy playing the game in timed mode but found this to be impossible.
***POSSIBLE SPOILER ALERT*** They have made these levels so that, not only do you have one of a pair/trio of items left behind, but they move around randomly, as well as when you click one that has been left behind from a previous match (which can actually be quite helpful) and sometimes there are more than one of the same colour item.
What's wrong with this you might ask? Well, it's simple. When you think you've found a match but one of them keeps moving when you click it (as if you've already found it) and then there's another one the same colour which moves round randomly anyway, you can find yourself keep clicking the same items for several attempts to get your match which wastes a lot of time.
Coupled with the fact that the hints are not always helpful, they take you to the area the items are but by the time you've clicked everything else to move it so you can find them, it's not clear what you are supposed to be clicking on!
So the only way for me to be able to continue to progress through the game was to change difficulty to relaxed mode which is not as enjoyable for me. I hope they address this with any further chapters. I still recommend this game but wish everyone a great deal of luck with the last few levels of it.

After the incredible influx of HO games we've been getting from Big Fish in recent years, I'm always on the look-out for a good TM game, match-3 or even a really good bubble-popper (when did we last get a bubble popper???). However, what a disappointment this game was! Awful song right at the beginning, awful mini-games and characters that I didn't find at all engaging. Such a shame.
I don't recommend this game.

League of Light: Dark Omens Collector's Edition
The mysterious League of Light has chosen you as their newest member. Are you up to your first assignment?
I won't repeat what other reviewers have said about the story, graphics sound etc... they are all really good.
The only thing I do think let this game down was the ending. It was far too abrupt and the final puzzle to defeat the Dark Lord was far too easy.
That being said I did enjoy the game and will definitely be playing it again.
I recommend this game!

I've had this game for a few years but have only actually completed it twice due to the fact I simply have so many games I don't get chance to play them all the time!
This one has a nice storyline, it's a different kind of match 3 game in that you have to make a path for the element to follow rather than just clear a board.
Graphics are good enough and sounds are ok.
The reason I only gave it four stars is that I get cross with games that make you rely on power ups too much which this one does towards the last levels. Especially when you need a certain power up (which is charged by matching a certain colour tile) and the game doesn't drop the colour tiles you need to make the power up.
Having said that it is possible to complete all levels and it is a fun game.

This review is, admittedly, based on only a few minutes play of the demo but, I hated it.
The dialogue is very badly written (English possibly not the first language of the developer) and quite intrusive, the graphics are very basic and I found the game play quite boring. Might be ok for younger players, however.
There are much, much better tower defence games out there such as Royal Defence and Fort Defence.
I don't recommend this game.

I completed this game in a few hours and it was fun. A worthy sequel with one or two difference from the first game. There is the addition of puzzle pieces - I didn't manage to collect them all as some were very hard to find but it didn't detract from the game. Hopefully I'll get them all next time.
The only slight complaint I have (and it's really only a minor thing) is that I got rather annoyed with the advert for checking out the first game keep coming up between levels. I hope that doesn't keep happening in subsequent games.
All in all a very good game that is great fun and keeps you going with plenty to do.
I recommend this game!

I love time management games and this one is a treat. It's reasonably fast paced and there's plenty to do. You do have to plan how to approach each level - you don't always need to upgrade every building (although I usually do as a matter of personal pride!).
My only minor complaint is that it was a tad too easy even on timed mode. But for pure fun factor this really does do the trick.
Off to try the 2nd one now!
I recommend this game!

I played the trial of this a year or so ago and purchased the full game on PC. Since then I've upgraded to Mac and this is the first time I've actually played it right the way through up to level 9. When I came to an abrupt halt. I could not find any way to advance to find the next area or character to talk to and all the while I was running around trying to find both my timer was just ticking away.
I was going to save and exit and see if there were any guides anywhere but when I tried that, a message came up that if I exited all progress on that level would be lost! Seriously??? Each level takes around 50-60 minutes that far into the game. To not be able to save and exit mid-level is ridiculous. I've not seen that on any other game.
I doubt I'll bother with this game again and I certainly won't be bothering with the next two instalments.
I don't recommend this game.

I really like match 3 games but this one is not good. The title would imply an adventure type game but this has no story line and it's far too easy to fail levels or at least not get all 3 stars. Probably quite good for players who like a bit more strategy to their games but for me, it was a let down.
