I got this for my 5 year-old to keep him entertained for a little while. I had no idea how much he would love it or how much he would learn. This game allows him to play fun games while also learning information about a wide variety of animals. He has the freedom to choose which game he wants to play to win coins, allowing him to feel completely in control. The levels get more challenging slowly, so it's not overwhelming for him. I highly recommend this game.
I recommend this game!

Mystery Case Files®: Escape from Ravenhearst™ Collector's Edition
Mystery Case Files®: Escape from Ravenhearst™ Collector's Edition
Return once more to the haunted grounds of Ravenhearst Manor to uncover new details about this poignant saga. What you find could very well be the final chapter of this riveting story-if you escape.

I've never bought a CE before, but saved my credits specifically to buy this one. I've loved MCF for years, and excitedly waited for the release date. The first thing I noticed was that Charles is no longer darkly menacing: now he's some cartoonish villain straight out of a bad movie. The game play consisted mostly of going from one location to another (some of them were pretty gross). When I tried to use the strategy guide to understand a puzzle, I got screenshots instead of help. I'm not sure why this cost more than a SE game- the only extras that I know of were the awful door tokens that just made me want to give up. As much as I love MCF, and Ravenhearst in particular, I'm really sorry that I spent money on this one.
I don't recommend this game.
