The game is slow, interrupted by childish tasks like actually have to move your cursor to light a match or move a ball in a specific path. Puzzles are not challenging. Regretting I bought the collector's edition without trying first. Disappointment.
The game is childish. No challenge exists throughout the game. The puzzles are easy and there are too many HOPs where you need to track runes or symbols. No fun. It is also so very short!!!! It was a waste of money and I do not recommend it.

I know other players found the game to be great but I found it to be utterly boring. I saw no challenge, no remarkable puzzles and I did not care much for the storyline...
I've played a couple of games from this developer so I was wise enough to try the demo before purchase. Tiny objects in the HOS difficult to find not because they are well incorporated in the scenery but just because of size. Arrows to show the available directions, inventory items that you need to drag and drop, no choice of difficulty level, an enormous eye to show the HOS and a big puzzle piece for the mini games. No map (actually the story line is so simple, you don't really need one) and dialogues that you cannot just skip but you need to click repeatedly until they are over. I don't recommend this game.
The storyline is just boring. The hidden items are so very small it's nerve wrecking to try and find them. Still it's pretty easy to pass the levels in the easy mode I played since sparkles indicate the objects or the correct moves. I only played the trial and the only challenge was to hit the tiny items.
I'm so glad I downloaded the trial before wasting any money on that game. You start the game and you have already completed like 10 levels. No storyline, no suspense just boring!
I bought both Farmington Tales 1 and 2. The only glitch FT1 had was that the game crashed when you tried to harvest peppers. I thought FT2 would have no problem, but actually it is worse! The game crashes at various points with no obvious connection (during a puzzle, when upgrading a building or just when you finish a HOS). I tried reinstalling as well as playing with different settings and/or profile but it just does not work. I played on a Mac with Mavericks and on one with Mountain Lion but made no difference. It's just a waste of money and a lot of frustration.
