to say that I bought this game before trying the demo and before any of the reviews came out. My bad! It won't happen again. This game reminded me of some games back "in the day", meaning 2011, 2012. VERY basic and boring. At this time I am undecided if I even will finish it at all. And yet, like everything else I am sure there are others who will love it but it just wasn't for me.
Recently I have found Elephant games to be rather predictable and borderline boring. Not so with this game. Yes, there are not that many places to go and there is a lot of back and forth but, each time there are new items, puzzles or HOPs in the area. I especially like finding something only to have more things to do underneath. Personally, I loved this game.
I found this game to be almost everything I expected from this developer, who are one of my favorites. The HOP are a little cluttered but all, so far, are interactive which is so much better than just a straight list. I am a little confused though. In the description of the game it says besides collecting signs there are also morphing objects to obtain and so far I have not found a single one. They aren't marked in the strategy guide either. Since this is my favorite item in a game I was very disappointed. I have not finished yet so maybe its down the road somewhere.
This was my favorite game of all time. The graphics are amazing and have (IMHO) raised the bar for other developers. I don't usually like "helpers" much, or furnish rooms for them etc. This golem is fantastic and feels like your manipulating a cartoon character. LOVED IT! If I could give it a rating of 10 I would.
It's going to hard to top this game. Even though its missing one of my favorite things :morphing objects, and its a little heavy on puzzles I still am enjoying this game tremendously. The graphics are wonderful, and one can get lost in each screen shot. thanks developers!
I thought the game was excellent from start to finish. Seems many reviewers are way to critical of every single tiny flaw. I have been a member for about five years, and, like many of you, have seen the progress from then until now. I write very few reviews but read them all. CE's are all I buy and I have bought some duds but that's my fault as I don't do any of the trials. So some of my least favorite have been bought because of the "great review". Anyway, that's my fault entirely. Just saying, give these developers a break.
Rarely write reviews but I agree with everyone. I am still playing after hours and hours of fun. Loving every minute. I also must say thanks to Big Fish Games because the last three CE's from various developers have been over the top!
I don't usually write a review but felt that I needed to put in my "2 cents". I like elephant games very much but they have become very predictable. Any game with morphing objects is a plus for me. However, these were in your face ones and you couldn't miss them if you tried! Level of challenge was so -so. Generally I found the game to be fun but way to short and easy but you may like it.
I agree with all that was said by previous reviewer. Just adding my 2 cents! It has come to a point where, if I see the developer was Mad Head, I immediately buy the game. No "tryout" for an hour or so. This dev is always consistent and I am so excited when another game is offered. Keep em coming BF!
Even though I am of the over 60 generation I found this to be one of the best games ever to be released. So much thought went into the design, HOPS and puzzles, and yes, there were several times I actually jumped out of the chair. I am not a fan of scary, bloody movies but this did not creep me out. Just thought it was a lot of fun and couldn't stop playing it. The bar has been set very high by the devs.
