Yes there is graphic violence and I wouldn't recommend this game for children or anyone who is squeamish BUT there is definitely new puzzles and HOPs. I found this game to be innovative and challenging. I rarely write a review and this isn't one, just my own humble opinion. Loved it.
I seldom write a review but after seeing only 2 people submitted reviews I just had to add my two cents. Will not rehash what has been said already. This game was a total surprise for me. I thought I would not like it in the beginning but grew to love it as I got more involved in the story. I found that I looked forward to playing and didn't want to stop to take a break as I wanted to see what happened next. I felt it was very innovative and challenging with lots to do in the HOP scenes, not just lists. Puzzles were also to my liking as I am not a puzzle fan and skip a lot of them but not this time. We all have our own tastes and not everyone will agree with me but that's ok. Have fun if you decide to give it a try.
I don't usually write a review, and I'm not going to rehash the whole storyline. This is such a super game, just wanted to give kudos to the developers who have now set the bar that much higher for other developers. There is so much to do it will literally give you hours of fun. Each scene is magnificent with so much to do and a lot of new ways to do puzzles and HOPS. I would give this game of the year award (so far).
If I could have given it more stars I would have. This game has everything, morphing objects, interactive HOS, good background music. Every HOS is different and all are interactive.
You've returned from school to visit your father at his famous Jazz Pepper Club during Mardi Gras, but everyone is hypnotized. Have they heard the wrong note?
I have played over 50 games and never written a critique. This game has everything, morphing objects, collectibles etc. but beyond that it is the most original and well thought out game I have ever played.
