This is the typical resources game that Hercules usually is and it's pretty basic play..run around, gather stuff and pound on rocks. I'm not sure why this is a CE price as I'm not seeing anything outstanding that requires an additional 6.99 to purchase. I'll continue with the trial and wait for the standard version. I mean, it's not bad but it's just the same old thing. At least they give you an option to turn off that weird shaking thing! I would recommend this maybe for kids as it's very simple .
I guess 'm the fly in the ointment here because I'm not feeling the love on this one. OH, how I wish the Emily people would have come out with an Emily Christmas offering this year like in year's past but, alas, this is what we get. It's very slow, VERY easy even in advanced mode and quite childish with the cartoonish graphics and characters that look more like My Little Pony. The CE price, even with the discount, wasn't worth it as the gameplay is just too low key. I also found it glitchy and it froze up quite a bit, making me go into my Task Manager to close it out and restart. I would recommend trying the trial first. Don't jump into the Buy Now until you take it for a test drive because this is far removed from the old Emily offerings when the Dev's put thought and effort into their games.
This is what I would call a Time Killer game. Very easy levels with very easy games. Actually, a child could do this. While it's fun to decorate the living room, the games and their utter simplicity make this game tedious and monotonous. The scenes never change, the items you have to locate never change and you can multiple click through the whole scene to randomly find hidden objects without being penalized for it. I found it boring, repetitive and dull. But the decorating part was fun...at least the décor selection isn't stuck in a 70's time warp like the last one!
What a difference between this version and the past offerings! Gone are the tiny graphics that made the items hard to see, the basic run around and collect stuff and no storyline. The Dev's put some effort and thought into this one. Great graphics that are easy to see and less cartoonish, fun game play and strategy on levels that make you stop and plan before you start. Good job guys!! Highly recommend!
I would say this is the easiest of the series. It's very very slow...the men take forever to run and there are no options for power up's to get them to move their butts! No real challenges and not a lot of storyline at al. I gave it 3 stars for the graphics and sounds.
As always, this series doesn't disappoint. Great graphics and storyline. Well thought through and the characters are adorable (I know they're supposed to be tough...)
Only downfall I see is the addition of the bouncing hint scroll. THAT is an annoyance and totally unnecessary! It has a common sense hint in it and once you click on it and read it, it doesn't go away. It stays on the screen, blocking parts of the level and bounces up and down! I understand the concept of the hint (although the hints are mostly for people who have never played the series) but, once you read it, make it disappear !
I don't see anything new here. Put your glasses on for this because everything is SO tiny, you can't see anything . Run around, pick stuff up (if you can see it) and then do it again. I agree that these magic eggs are dumb and do nothing when you click on them.
This game looks like a bunch of grade schoolers put it together in a computer class. Not for me!
What a fun game! Very well thought out and glitch free. The kids actually move fast, there's strategy and wonderful graphics. It's a lot like the other Hella's games but, this one seems more well put together. I LOVE being able to build on my own and not task it out to a worker. That saves a lot of time. I recommend this one!!
Wow...definitely the stinker in what used to be a fun series. SOOOOO slow! The workers drag along and there are hardly any power-ups for speed anymore. Some of the levels are so painfully slow, I was balancing my checkbook while the men were between tasks! No challenging levels anymore, just collect and build. I don't know who took this series over but the same thing happened here that happened to the Emily series. The fun factor is gone, the graphics are cartoonish and it's totally different from the rest of the series,
An automatic buy for me! Adelantado is back but with just the workers. FUN, strategy, excellent time management...the way a TM game should be. Glad to see it's called Season One. That means there will be more! A lot of these other Dev's who keep changing classic games for the worse can learn something from these guys. If it ain't broke, don't fix it! HIGHLY recommend this! Thanks Big Fish!
