An interesting storyline, characters you will love, hilarious dialogues, good variety of "brand new" monsters, and an unusual longevity (after 20+ hours I'm not near the conclusion!): this is, in short, what I think of Av4. Should I add more? :-)

I played the whole Adelantado series, and this final part did not disappoint me. In facts, this last episode is even more entertaining than the previous two. The game keeps the usual good quality of graphics and smooth game mechanism. There are no huge changes with respect to the other episodes, but you will discover some nice novelties, like a couple of new buildings and upgrades. If you played part 1 and 2, then I recommend part 3 as well. If not, my suggestion is to start from part 1 in order to better follow the storyline.
Nothing special, but it teaches one things or two about work...

The game itself is nothing special. Average level graphics, mild storyline, average level of challenge. But I appreciated the game dynamic that reproduces a model very simplified, yet rather faithful, of how a company can be run. In the end, the best strategy is to spend a large part of your gain to hire the best employees, train them and develop their skills, and invest in R&D. This is exactly what you should do in the real world :-)

A classic adventure game, with some fresh elements that I really enjoyed. First, the main characters are really well defined, and this adds a lot of depth to the game. Second, the storyline is quite interesting and contains elements that will make you reflect. Third, an original set of tiles and background music that improve the game experience (within the limits of a 2D RPG...)
The game is neither long nor difficult but is worth of playing, if you like this genre. The game end seems to suggest an incoming "episode 2": I hope I am not wrong :-)

There are so many great features in Sylia that I don't know how to start... 1) the storyline! I played a lot of RPGs, but I never found something even slightly similar to Sylia. 2) the RPG experience is fantastic and very different from most similar games. You will play TRULY unusual characters, each one with interesting individual spells or skills. 3) huge world to explore 4) great background music So if you like RPG or you are looking for something different, try Sylia :-)
Warning! This is Sylia Part 1. To complete the game you will wait the release of Part 2.

The game is well below average level of BFG games. But the worst part are instructions - and believe me, calling them instructions is an euphemism. You are instructed to draw a line to make your moon bounce. What is completely unclear, is that you need drawing more lines while the moon ascends, in order to keep it bouncing!! I suppose most people gave up because the game mechanism was completely unclear. Well, they didn't miss anything.
One last word. The game seems to detect the locale settings on your computer, because the texts were shown in Italian to me... great idea! But the translation was so opprobrious that any good intention was washed away.
Thumb down. Dear programmers, try harder next time
I don't recommend this game.

This game is based on the story of Jack the ripper, the infamous killer who murdered many women in the poor district of Whitechapel, London. You will play alternately as Mr. Holmes or Dr. Watson, to collect evidence, talk to suspects and witnesses, solve puzzles... until you identify the culprit.
Generally speaking, this game has a good potential not completely exploited. It deserves not more than 3 stars.
The most positive aspect is the setting of district Whitechapel, absolutely great. The game exploits the 3D engine rather well, and when you walk in the foggy and dirty streets (choose 1st person to enjoy best), you can feel a strong sense of depression, misery and desperation. Astounding, a really live experience.
On the negative side, the game experience is not at all involving. Long dialogues, where you are only requested to click the mouse, certainly add depth to the story, but also give you the impression to watch a movie instead than playing a game. Also, puzzles are easy, and in at least two occasions I "solved" them just clicking here and there.
The other aspects, like music or game controls, are average.
I recommend the title only if you are a true "aficionado" of Sherlock Holmes games
This game was absolutely great, it's a true gem in the universe of RP games. - great characters, very well defined and each one with her/his/its peculiarities (I liked Sarah and Random at most, but what about the bitter humour of Guanidia, for example?) - excellent storyline, with many twists - huge world to explore - a lot of armors, weapons, items, artifacts, spells... - very interesting and innovative level system - good background music - a lot of good games, when the end approaches, lose quality maybe due to budget or strict schedule. This is not the case: 3SoD keeps the same good level till the very end.
I am very happy that the next chapter in the saga - Laxius Force - is available on BFG. I also hope that LF2 and LF3 are added soon or late.
This is among the best games, if not the best, of this genre. There are many positive aspects with respect to similar games: - very long - it lasted almost 16 hours for me! - huge world with several areas and cities, all of them full of details - excellent storyline, engaging and easy to follow - interesting system to learn new spells - you are often required to do careful choices, like spells to learn or items to purchase (like in real like, you don't have money for everything!)
Of course you will appreciate it more if you played other Aveyond chapters, but I don't think it is strictly needed.
In short, if you are looking for a well-written, engaging, balanced and long-lasting RPG, search no more :-)
PS: The end of game seems to suggest there could be a sequel but, AFAIK, this was the last part of the Aveyond 3 saga... too bad.

Green Moon was very fun to play. With an interesting storyline, the game enriches the usual paradigm travel-collect-solve with some good ideas like - magic abilities that you acquire through an alchemistic ritual - travels in space and in time - pleasant and well-balanced puzzles, neither too difficult nor too trivial
Graphics was nothing special, but the background music was nice and always adequate to the surrounding environment.
The only thing I didn't appreciate was the sensible acceleration that the game took near the end, as if the programmers were in a hurry, or budget was all spent.
Apart from this, if you want to see something new, give Green Moon a chance
