Being challenged by the (hopefully) last dregs of winter, I was looking for something fun to play and Just Puzzles: Editor’s Choice fit the bill.
As with all Graphium jigsaw games, the photos are beautiful with 6 chapters containing a variety of themes. The colours are bright and I found all the photos interesting subjects to play.
The extra options allow each player to customize how they enjoy doing a puzzle. I like the challenge of the mosaic pieces, but classic mode also gives 8 cutout styles from which to choose.
It’s a winner for me!
I recommend this game!

I am in love with Graphium Studio's jigsaws. The illustrations and the many options make their games delightful to play, and Beyond Stories: Merciless Winter has the bonus of a beautiful tale.
Choices include the number of puzzle pieces and the variety of piece shapes you can select from. For a fun, increased challenge, try the mosaic piece option.
The music is in keeping with the gorgeous pictures and, for me, adds an unobtrusive but enjoyable background while playing.
In total, there are six beautiful winter-themed chapters of jigsaws that progress the story as you assemble them. There are cozy interiors, adorable animals, and realistic winter scenes, to name a few. Some are similar in nature but are not repetitions. The artwork reminds me of old-fashioned hand-drawn cards, and I will have hours of enjoyment piecing together these images.
I recommend this game!

Cool music and seasonal pictures make this one a buy for me.
I was hoping for a new Halloween-themed game that would put me in the mood, but one that I could play in spare moments at my leisure. My Hobby: Needlework - Haunted Needle works for me.
The needlework pictures are varied, ranging from quick-stitch cute bats to full canvas eerie phantoms. Spools of thread for the colors and a needle cursor add to the stitching mood. The controls are smooth, and the instructions are easy to follow.
One of the features of this series of needlework games that I love is the music. For me, Graphium Studios always gets it right. In this case, the music is ‘hauntingly’ beautiful—spooky without being scary. I got Halloween vibes right away.
This developer is always improving his games, and this time we have a Gallery to save and enjoy our finished pictures.
For Halloween and/or coloring pixel lovers, this game should fit the bill!

Anyone who has done needlework in real life should appreciate this game. While there is no embroidery hoop to stretch the cloth and define your work area, this developer has simulated this action excellently by having the player zoom into an area to colour. As you colour the squares, the picture becomes textured, which is a lovely effect.
There have been some much appreciated improvements by Graphium Studio. The spools now disappear when you have finished with the corresponding colour and the game controls and the completion meter have been moved so they no longer cover part of the play area. There is also a hint system, that recharges quickly, in the form of a magnifying glass that will find missed squares.
Some games are meant for relaxing and I am glad there is no timer nor an error counter. In this edition, there are seven fun chapters with a variety of pictures to work on. I use this type of game to unwind after a stressful day.
I always suggest reading the tutorial before playing a new game. Sometimes the developer is innovative and we don't realize that their game works a little differently. It will avoid frustration for the player and, hopefully reduce untrue criticisms in reviews. As well, always remember that we don't all like the same thing and that is why there are dozens of game genres to choose from. And, because we prefer something different does not make a game bad.
Thanks Graphium for the innovativeness, the improvements, and the soothing music.
I recommend this game!

I am happy to see Lilly's Flower Shop from Graphium Studio because I need my gardening fix after this long winter. The game is entertaining, the flowers are colourful, and I like that new elements introduced follow the theme. It’s just what I was looking for to pass the time.
I always appreciate a developer who provides a little story to go along with a Match 3 game and the cartoon style graphics pair well with the story. Lilly starts her journey with a piece of land bought at auction and, as you play, you earn coins to help her plant flowers, make improvements, and, ultimately, reach her goal of owning her own flower shop.

Select whether to play in full screen or windowed mode on the Options screen. You also have the ability to choose your level of challenge with three game modes to pick from - Relaxed (with no move limits, obstacles, or moles), Normal (with active obstacles, but no move limits or moles) and Hard (with limited moves, active obstacles, and pesky moles). It is not timed, for which I am thankful because I don't enjoy that kind of pressure while I am playing. The goal of each level is to collect the assigned number of elements while being challenged by weeds, dry soil, stumps, and, of course, the optional pesky moles covering some tiles. Boosters will be offered along the way to assist you with these gardening obstacles.
Help Lilly achieve her goals and have fun along the way. I know I did!
I recommend this game!

Love and romance should be celebrated every day, but we have chosen February 14 to remind ourselves of this. My Hobby: Needlework Valentine’s Day gives us a glimpse.
In my opinion, this developer always delivers a fun game, no matter what the genre. This time, they have brought us a new twist on Pixel Art and I love it.
Because the game was labeled Valentine’s Day, I was not surprised by the images and I was pleased with those presented. Chapter 1 was my sentimental favorite, hearts and all, but the other chapters contain a variety of related but not necessarily themed images, such as flowers.
I loved that the completed squares were textured as if I was using a needle and thread. The results were much more satisfying and I couldn’t wait to see my finished needlework. The sizes ranged from about 950 pixels to just under 3000 pixels.
The game ran smoothly. In keeping with the needlework theme, I thought the idea of the spools to select colors was clever. The Tutorial was brief but comprehensive. I’m not sure what more would have been needed in the way of explanation. Any mistakes were easy to find and correct.
I’m sure there will be a few tweaks in future related games from Graphium Studio, but My Hobby: Needlework Valentine’s Day is a great jumping off point for them and us.
I believe the game is a solid 4 star game, but I am giving it 5 Stars for the effort made to bring something new to the genre.
I recommend this game!

And this is a beautiful gift!
This developer excels at making jigsaws that immerse me in whatever theme he has chosen and Puzzle Pieces 7: Christmas is no exception. It is apparent the pictures were carefully selected to reflect the Christmas season and the large variety means that I can find something for every mood I feel.
The controls are easy to use and allow each person to customize their playing experience. I like the Christmas cutouts on the puzzle pieces and have played using the trees and the stars, but traditional cutouts are available too.
As an added bonus, we get to decorate a Christmas room by purchasing gifts with the Snowflakes we earn for playing.
If you need a nudge to get in the Christmas spirit, Puzzle Pieces 7: Christmas is an early present to delight young and old, new and veteran players. Enjoy!
I recommend this game!

“Tearstone: Thieves of the Heart” is a delightfully challenging, somewhat non-linear game. I am loving the discovery aspects and am torn between rushing to see what is around the next corner (figuratively) and pausing to drink in all the clever elements the developers used in the game. No spoilers from me, but the bullfrog king and the aquarium games were certainly unique. And you need to keep your eyes peeled for the collectibles - they are well placed and not overly abundant, making their discovery “Aha!!!” moments.
The journal, something that has been AWOL in HOPAs for a while, is a pleasant surprise, adding background to the story and containing clues for the puzzles. In my opinion, the strategy guide is top notch: screenshots are clear as are the written descriptions of what to do. So far, I haven't needed to access it to move along in my game, but I did check it out.
Play the demo that Big Fish generously gives us and find out if the game suits you. If it doesn't, there are many more games to choose from. We all have different tastes, but when did we become so entitled as to believe it is OK to trash someone else's hard work? Personally, I am in Chapter 3 - Part 2 and reveling in playing “Tearstone: Thieves of the Heart” and hope to see lots more from DragonsEye Studio.

Not many developers do FROGs any more (fragmented object games) and it is a game style that I miss, so I was pleased to see that the developers chose this style for Iselin Saga. The pieces, for me, are well hidden enough to be challenging, but not annoying.
As another reviewer stated, it is an "old school" type of game, which I am enjoying, with the aforementioned FROGs and interesting puzzles, ranging from easy to "let me think about this".
I was happy to see Iselin Saga out this morning. All in all, a fun game to while away a rainy afternoon!
I recommend this game!

Jigsaws are my go-to games because I can play for 5 minutes or 5 hours and both time spans work. In Graphium Studio's new game, nature and enchanted imagination blend and I love it. Everything about this game makes me smile.
As with all their jigsaws, you will find the pictures are well chosen and beautiful, as is the music.
There are 3 chapters, of 36 images each, to select from, or you can "roll the dice", in the lower right hand corner, and the game will select a random puzzle from the carousel.
There is a special chapter, of another 36 pictures, which opens after you have earned the required number of gems. Bonus gems are earned by playing daily, as well as choosing a higher difficulty. You can challenge yourself by picking from a dozen choices of puzzle size (ranging from 30 to 1024 pieces), allowing extra pieces, using the timer, and/or enabling rotation of the pieces.
There is a surprise chapter that will open after one hour of accumulated game play.
For extra fun, there is a chapter where you can create puzzles from your own images.
To customize your game play, there are many additional options to select from:
- Various connector shapes
- 10 different background colours
- A thumbnail of the actual picture or a ghost picture (I enjoy working with a ghost picture.)
- Mouse can be set to drag the table with the left or right side and it is simple to zoom in and out, using the wheel or the buttons at the top of the screen - very useful in the larger puzzle modes.
- Selecting 'edge pieces only' can be set and undone with the click of a button at the top of the page
- Colour and brightness settings
- A handy tray below your puzzle
I can work on one or more puzzles and my progress is saved; I also know, at a glance, which ones I have completed and I can use them as screen savers.
I had no trouble with the controls - for me, everything worked smoothly, including magnifying the puzzle when working with 1024 pieces.
I love Graphium Studio's games and this one is another winner for me!
I recommend this game!
