The dreaded lock and chain on the hops really takes down my enjoyment of your games. I don't like the scramble words in a hop either. The hops with the sewing patterns would of been good if it was side by side instead of from memory. I like my hops easier.
I have problem with your sounds too. I turn down the music, effects, environment and turn the voice all the way up and I can barely hear the voices. It's like the voices are tided into the music. Terrible. Don't like the shrilly sound of entering places so that's why I turn down the effects.
Also in the opening scene the presser foot is facing away from the person, that isn't how sewing machines are made.
On the art it gets a A+. Liked the paint by number and found a few mgs I liked. Liked the Extras and the story line of a fashion house.
Has 4 chapters + bonus. Replay 21 movies, 23 hops, 21 mgs and 5 music. Has 15 wallpapers and 15 concept art. Still has characters on the wallpaper which I won't use. I like just pretty scenes. Found 70 Brooches, 15 morphing evidences and 15 Invention miniatures. Has better sizes. Nice Boudoir.
I think the older Grim Tales were longer, better story lines and even better visually. Some thing about this story line got boring fast. In game play you had places that you were looking for a cut scene to interact and you just had to put a item over the area.
This game is short. I did like that they didn't have a lock and chain on the hops. At least the collectible wasn't super tiny. Now we just need a in between size. Like the achievements. Anastasia Gray doesn't have the charm of Richard. But you can see a picture of him.
The jigsaw can be set as a wallpaper. Has a screensaver with Anna and the Catbird. Archives has replays on 13 hops and 13 mgs.
I was playing and I had a Error Access Violation Program Terminated. Then a message A profile became corrupted and was deleted. Well you think they would give me a game credit but no they want to mess with my PC. Not answer why they are doing it and dragging their feet with huge time between replies.
This game came out in February and plenty of gamers had problems with it. I figured they fixed it by now being close to April but they sold it to me and won't make it right.
I thought they fixed this game by now since it came out in February and it's almost April but just like so many of us I can't light the fireplace in the bonus chapter. You would think they would quit selling it until it's fixed. I want a full game credit.
I didn't like a single mini-game. Hops no fun with the dreaded police tape. I could not pick up the coin in the kitchen. You have scenes with pumpkins, Leprechaun and a January calendar. So what season is it?
They couldn't decide to use Irwing or Irving so they used both. A measure tape is called Roulette and a baseball bat is called a hurl.
Why do they have stuff outside of the tool bar area? I hated that. Half a face that serves no real purpose on the upper right and a location on the upper left. I use the map.
I should have learned my lesson with the last Unsolved Case.
Really Loved most scenes. Beautiful. A few were too dark like the barn, tailor and garage. Didn't like the subject matter of the bonus chapters and wished I just bought the regular one. I didn't mind the reading because I wanted to find out who the heir was. It got old towards the end.
Also it had too many riddle scenes. I had three in one chapter in the bonus chapter which there are 5 chapters, nothing new. If you used the hint it would just have a written hint and not find the item. I wanted to be done by the end so hint were too long. It has free play so I could just play that instead of the CE. Twenty chapters all together in the Collector's Edition. I recommend the standard game.
I'm on the 4th chapter and have to stop for the day. I really Love this game. The art, game play, puzzles and hops are so fun. No stupid lock on the hops. You can just click around until you figure it out. Love the achievement, they materialize. The collectibles are great.
This game is towards the top for me but I'm not a big mini-game player. I did find some nice mgs to play but so many were not my favorites. I did like the hops which they call puzzles and they are puzzle like but in a good way. Others have tried this hop style but none do it like 5BN. They are more logical and smooth to me and No Lock for multiple clicks, they just let you find what you need. No stress
The story is just wow. It was a adventure.
Didn't like the location of the strategy guide. To much stopping and starting. I did have to write things down but this doesn't bother me. Nice amount of extras in every scene as it should be.
It has 6 chapters + Bonus, 30 morphs, 52 collectibles, 10 manuscripts, 10 wallpapers and 14 concept arts. Replay 16 videos, 6 puzzles, 22 mgs and 8 music
I call it Super Fun if I like the hops and mgs. They really know how to do hops the way I like it. I was surprise that I liked most of the mini-games. Has replays on hops and mgs.
This Secret Room was a lot of fun for me. 68 morphs in 4 rooms. In game play it has 12 morphing watches. Has 20 puzzles pieces to collect. The color in the guide for the puzzle pieces is green not yellow.
I thought the achievements room was generic. I like things materializing. They need to be more inventive with the 3 chapters titles.
I do miss the two games these characters come from- Mystery Trackers, Haunted Hotel and happy that Grim Tales is still creating.
I loved the game except one thing. I dread scramble mode. I always play relaxed because I like taking my time and not racing thru just for points. I had less than a handful of scramble in the CE.
Most scenes had palm trees and was very Hawaiian in my way of thinking. I was so glad I tried it for myself. I loved the first two games, In Paris and In Rome and bought the CEs. I think it's a good value no matter what you prefer.
I was thinking how nice it would be to have a place to have all the facts I uncovered and I found it. In the unlimited play you can chose a scene, once the scene is chosen under the word play it has Fact Journal to the right. I went to look on the other two games in this series and it has it also. Wish I found it sooner.
In the unlimited you can choose to play normal, riddles, pairs, silhouettes, image and scramble. I wish they kept the collection mode but it's not in this game.
In the unlimited you can see how many facts you found and there you can replay to pick up facts you missed if that's what you want. I want that achievement for myself.
Had minor problems like had to click more than once on a item before it was picked up and the swipe the canvas didn't want to finish even when I thought I was done but it still gave me credit for replays so no harm done. Replays on the puzzles are in the photo journal.
I wanted to know how many chapters there was and no one had it in their review so I found out for myself.
