Finally, a game that is not just the same old thing. Several types of puzzles keep things interesting. The HOS are not just piles of rubble - they consist of finding particular objects, sometimes found in different locales, to enable you to do a puzzle or move to the next scene. And, you have the option of playing in three modes - casual, advanced, and expert. Expert is only unlocked after you have earned enough hint points. The graphics are great, (I never listen to the music scores), and the scenes make sense. The workroom looks like a workroom, for example. This is a buy for me!

Maybe it's just me, really. But this game is just another game that sends the player back and forth gathering items to use in various places while trying to keep the interest of the player. There isn't anything actually wrong with the premise or the game itself, but I just didn't get into this one, and found myself yawning through the demo. Nothing new here, nothing fun. Not a buy for me.

I love Halloween, no matter what time of year, and I like TM games. Thought this would be a winner, but it just misses the mark. As was previously mentioned in another review, the cursor is clunky, which is annoying. Getting past that, waiting on the zombies or other characters to settle in at the table, eat, then pay, just takes too long in my opinion. There just isn't enough of a good flow of actions like there is with Diner Dash or Hotel Dash. Not a buy for me.

As the other reviewers have said, this is a game in which your hand is prone to cramping! Those of us with older hands may not enjoy it nearly as much as younger people would. Overall, though, the game is cute, the birds are adorable, and even the music is fine.
I recommend this game!

Of course, I am a fan of the show, so when I saw the game I was hoping that it wouldn't let me down, and it hasn't! It has three game modes, casual, advanced, and expert. The HOS were well done. You have some items that are scrambled, and you have to locate the question marks in the scenes to both gain hints and unscramble the letters of the items. You play as each of the show's characters in turn, which makes it interesting. For those that are concerned with length of game play, I did buy this one, and I've only played through the first case so far, and that took me a bit over two hours. Just when I thought I had the first case wrapped up, another murder took place, and I realized I still had a ways to go. And, I still have another case to solve! There are different types of mini games to play, and while this is not the most exciting game out there, I really enjoyed the sense that the case could be pulled from reality, and it wasn't full of dragons, witches, or ghosts!

First, there isn't actually a game board, so the characters that you are trying to match are on the background itself. With some of the pieces, that makes them hard to distinguish. On one level, I spent over 10 minutes playing before I even got the three pieces I needed onto the board, and then it was another 10 minutes before I ever got them to where I could make a match and move on to the next level. Very frustrating, and I didn't even play the whole demo. Definitely not a buy for me.

Some other reviewers really didn't like this one, but I don't think it's all that bad. It really takes some thinking to make words when you can't use three letter words at all, but you can use letters from anywhere on the board by using the jump feature, which is nice. Play at your own speed in classic, or make as many words as you can as quickly as possible in arcade. So you can play before you've had coffee, or after!!

Not bad at all. Lots of stuff to do in taking care of the dragons, repelling enemies, and making jewelery. A little frenetic, after buying a number of dragons, but that is the point of the game!
I recommend this game!

Storyline is good, but the talking between the characters drove me nuts! I had to stop what I was doing to click through their discussion, and if you accidentally clicked on the same spot again, you had to go through the whole discussion, again! The HOS weren't bad, but the one in the cabin, at the dresser, was annoying. You had to open 4 drawers, over and over again, to find all the objects. Not enough interest to make me want to buy.
