I've played games from these developers before, and I know they work hard on these games. But these types of games are annoying! Way too much dialogue that you have to click through, no option to skip. Three minute waiting time to skip a mini game. Some of the HOS are looking for things that match the pictures at the bottom, and I personally don't like those. Most of them, however, are looking for several of the same object. It feels as if the game moves too slowly, just because of all the time spent reading the dialogue, and all the time spent looking for the same object. Just not for me.

I like a bit of challenge, even in Mahjong games. In this one, you cannot lose. The board updates anytime you run out of moves, until finally you win the round. There is even a skip button for "hard" levels, although I cannot imagine what that would be. The graphics are clear and easy to see, which is the best thing I can say about this game, and the only reason I lasted 30 minutes. I like mahjong games, but this was a big disappointment.

This is a lot of fun! Storyline is simple, but that's fine - the fun comes in figuring out what to do. The HOGs are so much better than the typical hunt and find; you actually have to think about associating different articles together. Loved the pigeon! That was enough to tell me this was going to be a different kind of game. Getting Munchausen out of the tree was tricky enough to make me think, then laugh when I got it done. Munchausen always has something interesting to say if you aren't doing something right, and for once, I don't even mind the voices. Gotta recommend this game, and definitely a buy for me! Really enjoyed the demo, and want to find out what happens next!

Loved the new take on the storyline - something different. As was mentioned by another reviewer, the skip and hint buttons do take a very long time to refresh, even in the regular playing mode. One thing that absolutely annoyed me - when you enter a new scene, the instinct is to look around at everything to see if there is something there that you need. The button that will send you back to the previous scene takes up more than half of the bottom of each scene, so it is easy to click, thinking you are going to check out something new, but you've ended up at the previous place. Wasted time before I figured out not to do that. In other words, there is a lot of scenery that you don't even need to pay attention to, because it isn't going to help you out at all.
On the other hand, the red sneakers, as has been previously mentioned, are an absolutely awesome tool, and very helpful.
Although this is not a buy for me, for someone that is new to the genre, this would be a good game, therefore, it does get a recommendation from me.

As a cat lover, thought this would be right up my alley. Not so. Finding the cats throughout the game is cute, but the annoying meow when you ask for a hint is not good. You have to find a special key for every door, which can get a bit frustrating. The HOG's are fine. Never could get the Guide to work, which may have been part of my problem. It may have allowed me to move from one place to another easier, but as it was, it was annoying backtracking so darn much. I'm skipping this one!

Played for about 30 minutes, and was annoyed much of the time. I'd click on an active area, and wouldn't be able to pick up whatever object was there. It was only after I got to that spot in the game that I was allowed to go back and pick up the object. Occasional flashes would brighten the areas I was looking at, and I found that annoying, as well. The HOG's were areas that were full of objects, and it would take a few minutes for me to be able to distinguish between all of the things that were there. Some items were easy to find, and some were not. No interaction, just find and click. Overall, although the story line might have been interesting, this just wasn't done well enough for me to overlook the frustrating aspects.
I don't recommend this game.

I appreciate straight HOGS like this one, especially on those days I don't feel much like dealing with dark and creepy games! The graphics are clear and sharp, bright and beautiful. I really liked the round jigsaw - added a new dimension to completing the puzzle. Lots of levels to work through, and you can extend the levels by finding enough boomerangs as you move along. Good game to add to my list!

I've only played the demo, but I found a lot of variety in the game type. Everything from classic Mahjong to Solitaire Mahjong, the Great Wall, and something the creators named Logical Triple. I found that very challenging, until I managed to understand the logic behind it! I like Mahjong games for relaxation, and this one doesn't seem to allow the player to choose which game type to play. It only allows the player to go through each level and play as they have designed it. Great, if you want to keep your mind moving, not so great if you just want the option to play mindlessly for a while. Not a buy for me, but a good game nonetheless.
