I didn't really care for this game, so checked my purchase account to see if I had ever purchased any of the previous games in the series. I found I have never purchased one and after playing the demo, I now remember why. I do not care for the story, which I find boring, and there are way too many puzzles, which I dislike. I'm also not fond of their HO types selection and really do not consider them HOs. I will not be purchasing this one either and leave the rest of you with your own opinion as I won't even mark a recommendation box.

I have always loved the Haunted Legends and this one does not disappoint. I give very few 5 stars, so 4 stars is a great rating and the only thing I didn't mark as excellent was graphics/sound, even though they are still very good, just not vivid graphics and speech was not mouthed in sync. This was so much fun I can't wait to get back to it; good thing there is a sale as I'll be buying 3 CEs today.

I have to agree with others that the graphics do not match up with previous Dark Parables releases, and I have them all. The graphics were good, but this series have always had very vivid graphics, so yes, that was a let down. But everything else is excellent and I can't wait to get back to the story. And the fact there are no morphing items is fine with me as I always found myself distracted by looking for them and often forgot to look. You still need to look for crescent moons and other collectables. Glad they didn't touch the HO games, as I've always enjoyed finding fragments; this one did seem more difficult than in the past and like the fact it's not brimming with puzzles, so dislike puzzles.

OK, not the best and doesn't have all the bells and whistles, but it is a decent game with a nice adventure to solve. Graphics are not on the high end, but they are still nicely done and did have voiceovers and not just text. Puzzles were quite difficult and HOs are only list, but the story is what I find interesting as it's been awhile since we went on an expedition to rid evil spirits released by the greedy. I have free game codes to use, and this will occupy me on a chilly day.

I waited to see what others were saying, and the reviews were slow to come in, but there are several now so I'll say my piece too. I must have downloaded a different version then the other BF members as I couldn't get this one off my computer fast enough. I found nothing fun, visual and sound were just OK, challenge level was OK too, and the storyline was just plain dull. I have all, or at least most, of the Nevertales series, and I don't know what was going thru the developers heads, but they must have been in a state of confusion. I really dislike giving a bad review as I know the developers must put their heart and sole into developing these games, but they sure didn't do justice this time.

Loved, loved, loved! Grim Tales Series have all been great and this one does not disappoint. The graphics are very well done and love the voice-overs. Challenge in the easiest level was not too easy and not too hard and had a varied type of HOs which some were new and some were old, but all are well done. The story is exciting, sometimes scary, and I hope it doesn't loose it's excitement as the story continues, being that I am basing my review on the Demo. I'm very anxious to purchase this one and continue the adventure.

I have been waiting for a great, fun, Match 3 and was hoping finally it was being offered. But, another disappointment! Why do developers try to get everything on a single screen so the items are so small and makes you go cross-eyed trying to find matches. The good Match 3s have big boards that you have to scroll to other sections and the squares are nice sized. Maybe I would have enjoyed this if they had spread the game table over several screens, but this one didn't and is a loser in my eyes. BF, I hope you hear my plea and find a developer who makes an exciting Match 3 that has huge boards you need to scroll the vast game board. Example of board setup is Jewel Quest IV or 4 Elements.

I found this game kind of Ho-Hum and not one I would purchase, especially as a CE, but may consider the SE. Graphics were OK, not crisp or excellent. Level of Challenge was just so-so; too many puzzles but were fairly simple, and HOs were mixed types and were OK. Storyline is nothing new, but could be interesting as the story proceeds. I was not really impressed but would do in a pinch if I was really bored.
I have all of the Myths of the World, and really tried to like this, but found myself just wanting the demo to end. I was lost most of the time and used the hint vs the guide as I just didn't care. I'm glad so many of you loved this game, but I hated it.

I have all the previous Fear for Sale games and enjoyed all of them, but his one failed to be the same fun factor as the previous ones. This may have passed my test if it had been called something else, but left me flat in my expectations. The story was old, puzzles were old, morphing was old, etc, etc...I was totally bored. Even the HOs were boring and I usually always enjoy the challenge...nothing else to say but I'm not buying.
