I wanted to cry when the demo ended as I was just getting into this one...boohoo. I have to get this one so hope there's a sale this weekend. This is more of an adventure game than I usually like, but I was managing to figure things out and was moving along when it closed...got to get back to it asap. Thanks for giving us a slightly different game, lots of things mixed up in this one and HOs are not all list, but had a silhouette and a find the pieces. Hope the remaining isn't a disappointment. Colorful graphics, voiceover without dialog (yeah), challenging but not too difficult, and no, the storyline isn't brand new, but it still works and is interesting. WTG!
OK, graphics are kind-of paper doll like, but we all can live without awesome graphics, but mode of play needs to be at least good. I know this takes place in dark castles and dungeons, but when HO scenes, inventory to collect, and puzzles are so dark it's hard to see, that is taking the dark to an extreme. Puzzles directions made little sense and interaction throughout the game was very slow. HOs were OK, nothing new and rather old. Don't waste your money on the CE and if you must have it, wait for the SE. Wasn't even worth the time to load.
Dark Parables never ceases to amaze. Even though The Frog Prince is still my favorite, I did love this one. I would have given it 5 stars if the map had been helpful, but it really wasn't as it only showed when an HO game was available. Map is not interactive, so you can't jump to a room or showed when you can do something now, only there was an objective. I love the HO games where you have to find fragments of something.
I've only played the Demo, and can't wait to play the remainder. Very nice graphics, voice overs that's not too chatty, puzzles aren't too difficult which is good as I don't care for the puzzles. HOs were well done with silhouettes and list versions and not overly difficult. Story wasn't new but still interesting. I think everyone will find something they really like about this game. I gave 4 stars as 5 stars should be given to the refreshingly new games.
I really wanted to like this game but it wouldn't let me. Story may have been Good if you can put up with all the faults in the game. Everything was very dark, indicators of things to do were not easily found, too many things to do were at the very bottom of the screen, HOs were dark and way too small, and game did not interact well and slow to respond. Another big issue was there was no reset in the puzzles, so if you were wrong, you had to play until you had no more moves for it to reset it's self. Very disappointed and not worth the time to even download the demo. I had to write a bad review yesterday, and I hate having to do it and especially 2 days in a row. I hope things get better for us HO game lovers as this is strike two and it's only Tuesday.
Who am I is an immersive hidden object adventure of an epic scale! Take the role of an undercover agent investigating strange sci-fi incidents in the city.
The only thing I found interesting with this HO Game, were the HO games. Very silly game otherwise and help was little to no help. Got stuck on the light bulbs and no available locations could I find a stupid light bulb, let alone 2. Thought I'd give a silly game a chance, but nope, not for me. Good luck to you die hards...guess I'm not one of them.
There are lots of bad Match 3 games out there, but this has to be one of the worst and was a waste of time to even do the demo. I did play longer than I desired as I saw that there were jigsaw puzzles, so played til I got there; I know I did the jigsaw puzzle right but it didn't advance to the next screen. Bad story idea and the worst play ever. Seems they tried to do new things, such as switches, but that was even bad as didn't change the difficulty at all. Take my word for it...don't waste your time.
You came to the town of Brownville, Louisiana hoping to find a new job. But you weren't expecting to stumble upon a strange adventure in a world filled with beauty and danger!
It took me awhile to see what the story was about, but once I did, I found it intriguing. The visuals were well done and love the fact characters speak; music is annoying as it is the same tones and not melodic. Puzzles were not too difficult and HOs were satisfyingly just about the right challenge. I am interested in finding out if I can meet the challenge of getting out of the game, but think I will wait for the SE as I had no need for a guide. I guess if I get really bored and need something to do, I may break down and buy the CE.
You’re on a train in the middle of nowhere, and a band of dangerous thieves demand you tell them where to find the Hope Diamond’s shards. As the newest Hidden Expedition recruit, you’ve got to find the shards before they do…
I can't find one thing that I didn't like about this game other than the bonus game was way too short. Loved the story and wish there were more games being made in the Indiana Jones type story lines; this one stayed in his theme of the originals....looking for forbidden treasure. Not too much story telling or conversation, which can make a great game boring; this one was just right so you knew what was going on. Love all of the different variations of HO games, with some having different types in the same puzzle. There were times that you opened a location and I didn't even realize it was a HO until I clicked around trying to find something to pick up..what a dummy, but it was unexpected and a nice change. I highly recommend this game and yes, maybe game of the year. Hurry and bring on more like this as I'm now very spoiled and it will be hard to please this girl any time soon.
The mystical Silver Arrow has been stolen from you on the eve of your wedding. Without it, you can’t marry your beloved Prince Philip! Can you track down the arrow in time?
HO games are boring and hopefully will improve as the game continues. Puzzles were pretty simple but way too many just in the demo so expect there will be more than needed. The talking creature is annoying after a couple of times conversing with the Dog, text would have been better. I will probably purchase this one but will wait for the SE as I love this series, just very disappointed that this one does not compare with the quality of the previous stories.
