Perhaps it's because there has been more challenge in recent games, this was such a disappointment. Same story line, and little challenge. I'm bummed. Perhaps I've outgrown these games, but some game designers have to develop something different. Graphics are great. If you're new to this genre, you will probably like it, but this is not for those with any experience with this series.
I don't recommend this game.
Golems are taking over Glanville, and only you can stop them!

Can't believe anyone gave this 5 stars. It feels like same old same old, with awful music. Starts with an attack of golums....have to find the key to the town gate......anyone seen this before? First have to open a suitcase.....never seen that before. And then find objects inside that are too small to see...ok, maybe I am being hyper critical....but this was a terrible game....
I don't recommend this game.
Can you find the key to Ravenhearst's resurrection?

I love this series, and read through all the reviews. It's interesting that the poor ones were at the beginning of the release of the game, and then they all got great....hmm..makes me wonder if the reviews are stacked....anyway, I purchased game anyway because I loved the series. It's a strange game. I don't like the story line. The games are the same old same old. I generally only write reviews if I really like a game or don't like it. This is a not like. These days, there are so many games, I have to truly like it to buy it. I wish someone would start making more games that excel.
The Lost Lands are in danger again... There's only one brave soul who can face the four evil horsemen to save it – you!

I rarely write reviews and am picky about my games. Been very frustrated in past few months with the same old/same old. FINALLY, someone developed a story line. There is adventure. There are numerous puzzles of differing types. There are different landscapes. It reminds me a little of old style games that lasted awhile and took you on an adventure. The only thing close are the Mystery Case files. I hope the game makers take a look at this and a new standard has been born.
A long-forgotten artifact has just resurfaced, and the race to claim it will cause a devastating war. The only thing strong enough to stop it is one woman’s promise to the man she loves.

Ok, I am addicted to these combo hidden object/adventure games...bought too many to count; and I couldn't even get through the first 10 minutes. Given the number of GREAT games out there, this was one I sadly disappointed in. Let's start with the graphics: it seemed that this was from 3 years ago. Not clear, poor color, and not synced to voice. Story Line: same old same old.....the love of my life is missing and I have to get on to a boat by putting out the fire.....aaaaaaaghh..no more fires.....at this point, I just stopped.....perhaps have gotten too fussy, but I have played 2 GREAT games in past 2 weeks...and this by comparison was poor. Sorry to write this, but ... I often read the critiques and they help me...so I felt I needed to be honest from my point of view.
I don't recommend this game.
The lighthouse fails and darkness invades Willow Ridge. Your husband runs into the forest for answers, unaware of the shadow hunting him.

I am a puzzle/hidden object/ game fanatic and am so tired of the same old/same old......This is the best game to come out in months. Puzzles are different. HO scenes require thought and you have to so something with the objects. The puzzles are challenging and a little different. The length of the game is excellent. I am so tired of buying a game and finishing within 3 hours. I STRONGLY recommend this game, and I am someone who has only recommended one other game. I rarely write reviews!!

I love puzzle games but was disappointed. Too many hidden object scenes, puzzles were easy and following the overall storyline too easy. I would find a needed object to solve a puzzle and then it was simple to determine where it went. Also, the music and sound effects were not separated. I always tun music down and listen to ambiance. In this, I had to turn down all the sound off. With the variety of games out there with great graphics, story line and challenge, this was a huge disappointment. Find another game....
