I'm always hopeful that I'll be able to enjoy a MCF again like I once did, but sadly this one didn't meet my expectations either.
I found myself bored with it. No creepiness, no mystery and no storyline. I tried but I couldn't even finish the demo.
I don't recommend this game.
Can you keep the past from destroying the present?

If you want to go back to the day of gaming where games were HOS after HOS with barely a story-line, then this game is for you.
I lasted 10 minutes. Stopped. Came to look at reviews to confirm what I was thinking.....a bunch of HOS with no story line.
I won't be buying.
I don't recommend this game.
A series of shocking – and otherworldly – murders has struck New York City, and you're the only one who can solve them!

I loved the first game in the series and actually played it more than once which is very rare for me. The storyline is intriguing and different from the norm. The graphics and game mechanics are smooth and well done. I'm not a fan of tedious list type HOS and so far this game doesn't have any. The HOS are far and few between and definitely not tedious.

Graphics are beautiful! I love that they changed the game play up a bit. If done well, and this one was, it keeps a game series from becoming dull and stagnant. Good job developers!

I was disappointed. Sadly and IMO, the second and now third in this series has not lived up to the first.
The game could be great but I just can't get past the graphics. I know it's a preference issue but I prefer the graphics to be detailed and crisp. The whole look of this game was very much like a blurred water color painting which made the HOS too tedious as the objects were harder to see. Looks like an unpolished game or that the developers were too lazy to go the extra step.
I only played the first 15 minutes of the demo before I had enough and uninstalled the game. I bought the first 2 games in the series but this one is a definite no buy for me, not even with a coupon.

I loved this game! The graphics were gorgeous! No cute helpers, creepy music, not too many hos and I liked the story.
One of my favorite games of the year! My only complaint is that it was on the short side.

I almost never buy a game without playing the demo first but this one I did and I do not regret it! The graphics are gorgeous, the storyline is interesting and the HOS are different and fun.
I recommend this game!

This game has some of the best graphics I have ever seen for a casual game.
There are not very many HOS but I loved every single one. I've gotten tired of the standard list types. The HOS's are the silhouette with progression which I love because they are so fun and not boring/tedious.

So far I am loving this game! It has a real creep factor to it that is unusual for a casual game. No cute animals or fairy tale stuff.
The cut scenes are fantastic....like watching a scary movie. The intro scene truly gave me the chills.
The story line is an interesting one. The only downfalls are that the graphics could've been a little more cleaned up in some areas. The HOS are a bit tedious for my taste but thankfully there are not too many of them.
