I've HAD it with computer generated games! Can't everyone see what's been happening for the past few years?! Is it JUST me? This game is laughably horrible. Glitches all over the place, story line is non-existent and did anyone actually care what happened to these characters? I get it that paying an actual creative team costs more than stamping out cookie cutters for people to hate....but in the long run you're losing customers who have been with you for 10, 12, or like me 14 years now and I can't see how losing us could be worth this slop you're putting out. I for one am done with BF. I've tried coming back several times, but I just can't do it anymore. There are better things out there now than this.
It was down to the last few minutes of a BOGO sale, so in a hurry I just added this as the free game. I regret that choice! The direction BF has taken in rolling out these cookie cutter games is on my last nerve. The characters were so bland and monotone that after 10 minutes I couldn't have cared less what happened to any of them. I knew it was a stinker when the first "quest" you have is making some neurotic girl tea to calm her down....over a flower arrangement? same mini-games and HOS as every other game they're shoveling out to us (use an item in one scene, throw the item away, only to need a similar item in the very next scene) and I just really miss the creative teams that used to put time and love into their games. I've been hoping for a few years now that they would go back to that, but it doesn't look like it.

If you want a bit of relief from the insanity happening right now and you've never played the Vacation: Park Ranger games, go, go and get them all! No stress, diseases, wars or politics are to be found here. Just a blissful escape into a zen place where life is simple and hidden objects are clever. Take a day and close out the world....no one will judge you.
I sincerely hope all you fishies out there are safe and well!
Stop pumping out computer generated, mass produced cookie cutters and hire back the amazing people who knew how to make amazing games! This game has zero imagination and was obviously not made by a real team. If it was, shame on them. I thought because the last League of Light was so bad and got such horrible feedback that you would never dare repeat that flop, yet here we are. One grainy HOP after another, confusing story line and just infuriatingly boring. Just stop it.
The one game that has stood the test of time for me is "League of Light: Wicked Harvest CE" I play it every year and still love it. This horrible excuse for a weekend game actually makes me sad and cements my belief that these developers have done away with all the creative artists and storytellers they used to have, but instead started chugging out computer generated cookie cutters that no one wants to play. In this bummer of a League game, you look for items, get lost, look for more items, wonder if you've left the stove on, look for items, start playing with the dog, look for more items and finally uninstall. If a game is just okay, but has a great story line, or if it's just an okay story line, but fantastic games, I'm all over it. This has neither. This can be thrown into the fail bin and forgotten about, just like so many other CE's being hurled at us for the past few years. I know this won't be posted, but I've had enough. I'll just go back and relive all the games that were made with love.
This one. Most definitely this one. Another obvious computer generated game. Same repetitive tasks, flat characters and for what was supposed to be a magical adventure instead fell flat on it's face. I think I hated this game more than any other this year because I was so excited to see it, so the disappointment was made that much worse. It's like when you see something that looks delicious, then bite into it and taste only salt. So yeah, pretty salty on this one.
There isn't a lot to say other than this game just blends into all the other games being shoveled out to us. The story line makes no sense, the puzzles are just there to have something to do without having much to do with the progression of the game and once again I give no care as to what happens to the characters. It's flashy, to be sure.....but that's really the only thing going for it.
Gone are the days when games were creative, fun, thoughtful and obviously made with love & pride. We are now in the age of mass produced games that have no rhyme or reason, but throw in some splashy lights and no one will know. Hate to break it to ya BF....we know and we're growing tired of it. To the new Fishies out there.....please go back and sample some of the older, quality games, then you'll understand why us veterans are still sticking around, hoping for a return to the engrossing games that kept us glued to the screen for hours.
My last three reviews were not posted, so I'm sure this will not be either, but if it is, I hope so much I'm not the only one who thinks this way and feel it's time to start demanding that these factory games be put to rest once and for all.
Step into the shoes of a Private investigator with short-term memory loss and uncover the shocking truth about his involvement with a serial killer called The Executioner.
Okay! So this actually is a pretty fun game and it seems to get better as you go along. The ONLY complaint I have is that the voice over for the hero is just awful. I mean, fingers on a chalkboard awful. Other than that, it's definitely worth a couple credits!
If you have a free game coupon you haven't figured out what to do with yet, use it for this. Even if you don't but are looking for something fun to kill some time, it's worth the SE price. I actually love when they throw out games that are SE only, because a lot of the times they're better than the cookie cutter CE games. Is this the best game I've ever played on here? Nope...but it's far from the worst. It's worth having in my collection, for sure. I'm spared having to go into too much detail because another reviewer has already done that, so I just wanted to throw out my recommendation.
Yes, it's a bit shorter than some of the other cookie cutter, no story line useless fluff games we've been hit in the face with the past few years, but it's super fun. I would rather spend my money on a game that keeps me entertained for 4 or so hours than on something that drags on, but I have to keep playing because I paid for it. For me this is a solid 4 1/2 star game. Other reviewers have listed the specs and details, so that's all I wanted to say.
