Not sure about the negative reviews on this one. I spent a very enjoyable rainy day with it, and loved every minute. I'm a history buff, and have read much on Elizabeth Bathory. This game went off the rails with it, but that's what made it so fun. I purchased the Nutcracker with this one, and this one is FAR superior!

I'm not sure if I'm basing this review on the fact that BF has thrown out so many stinkers lately that now even an okay game looks amazing to me, or if this was really as good as I thought. Finally a CE game where I didn't smack my forehead and ask "why did I buy that?!" There is no excuse for BF to keep marketing anything less than this as a CE. Just sayin'.

I have every one of the Puppet Show games, with Destiny Undone being one of the funnest games I've played on Big Fish. I saw this and and was SO excited I almost bought it on the spot. What the duce guys?! Why in the world would you tank such a great series??? This made me mad enough to quit BF altogether. Games are getting worse week after week, then this abomination. Not sure who you have working for you now, but it sure as heck isn't the same people that did the first 5 games. Bah!

In all fairness I didn't even get through the Demo. I think I might be done with BF for awhile. At least until the pink & purple, critter helping preschool games run their course, and DEV's start getting back to the Cadenza/New York Mysteries-SotM type games. I appreciate the talents of these creators, but PLEASE start realizing that most of your loyal gamers are adults.

OMG why all the 5 star ratings?? What a mess! After 20 minutes everything looked like jeweled flowers. Seriously! If the 1-800-FLOWERS van collided head-on with a jewel truck, you'd have this game. Awful, just awful.
Same game, different title. Wait for the SE! This CE is WAY too short for the cost. Most SE games are longer than this one, feeling incredibly ripped off by Big Fish this time.
