Completed game plus bonus content, collectibles, hidden objects, and the treasure hunt (44) that allows players to re-visit each and every extraordinary scene. Presented by the illustrious Mad Hat Games, there's everything good especially the programming which brings a smooth and fluid gameplay. Awesome, outstanding and phenomenal artwork, gamers will be wowed with bold, beautiful as well as a challenging, very lengthy game.
Possibly one of the best lessons to be learned is in dealing with grief one must experience those levels of emotion shown herein and in that order--denial, anger, bargaining and, finally sadness. Anyone who has felt a deep loss will certainly empathize. Very well done. Nothing shallow here!
Did I say outstanding? Thank you Mad Head Games and BFG! Enjoy! -Mama Mia-
We are off to fight, defend and, hopefully, defeat evil doers. Story touches an emotional chord. Is there a lesson for us here? I think so just because someone is different.
Completed game and bonus content. Artwork is magnificent. I can't draw a straight line with a ruler and am amazed how people can be so talented especially the MARIAGLORUM developer team. League of Light really deserves 5 stars except for the scarecrow theme has been done over and would like to see new adventures with this extraordinarily superb talent! The bonus content tapped into something surprisingly new. Liked that story as well.
Game play is very smooth with objects utilized quickly which is always a plus. Whatever the reason, though, keys and locks rule the gaming world. Enjoy! -Mama Mia-
On a roll playing and replaying Artifex Mundi games. Finally finished this quite lengthy and challenging Grim Legends 2. The sounds, scenery, characters all so well done with some very funny dialogue thrown in for good measure. Try not playing all in one sitting as there's lots to do in hidden objects, puzzles, mini-games and continuing your journey from the castle as a Healer through the forest and beyond.
Objects are used quickly and the map very helpful, Game moves quickly, although the length and challenges will take some time. No one could possibly comment that this game was rendered in a hurry! The talent and creativity is astonishing! Enjoy! -Mama Mia-
Completed game and bonus content today. Missed the game's initial presentation, however, purchased the CE on BFG's fantastic Veterans Day Sale. Thank you to all who serve and have served! You are loved and appreciated.
Didn't mean to play through, however, game was very well executed and challenging with no hand holding. Characters were awesome as were videos. How can anyone complain about the outstanding videos as well as super dialogue? Replayed them over and over in bonus content.
Very creative and enjoyed playing. Thanks to one of the best gaming developers. Enjoy! -Mama Mia-
So pleased with being able to go back and play some games I purchased and never had the time to play! Blam Games presented this 2013 beauty with a backdrop in France recovering from the cholera plague during the reign of King Louis XIV. Impressed with Developers' time era appropriate attire and objects.
Well done! Music is soothing and non-obtrusive. Gorgeous scenery with outstanding hand-drawn artwork and computer graphics. Story line is interesting as gamers seek to learn the answers to an evolving murder/kidnapping mystery. Interesting collecting various fragrances to mix elixirs that blended well within the plot. Very creative! Puzzles are original as well with a good mixture from easy to challenging. Game moves quickly as items are used almost immediately.
The good old gaming days and just a few years ago. Ha! Enjoy! -Mama Mia-
Wow! What do I know? Left an unfair negative review in 2012. Finally got around to actually playing. Gothic Fiction: Dark Saga is AN ADVENTURE GAME AND NOT A HIDDEN OBJECT which I PREFER above all other games so I was very pleased! Happy, also to right a wrong in 2012 review.
First of all, gamers do need their thinking caps regarding locations as the MAP gives a general idea with no transporting. Did help out as I scratched my head thinking where am I and how do I get back? Although a ghostly child does transport on occasion, got turned around; however, that was part of this game's fun, challenge and ghostly appeal.
Loved the cast of characters, do-able puzzles, mini-games, music, and was able to comfortably move about after getting accustomed to the unique gaming style which, sadly, ERS never repeated again. My bad!
ERS worked very, very hard and the length of gameplay including Bonus Content in the CE was about 16-18 hours. ERS held nothing back! Definitely recommend the Collector's Edition. Enjoy! -Mama Mia-
For years, Barton Mansion sat abandoned, a haunting reminder of an obsession gone wrong. But something sinister still lurked there...and it's stirring.
Definitely recommend the CE of which I only left a four-star rating that I'm increasing to five stars. Homecoming is an outstanding part of the Dark Dimensions. Don't let the growing vines dissuade you. As the game gets rolling they appear less often. Game is very lengthy, above-average and packed with hidden objects, puzzles, mini-games. Obviously, Daily Magic poured their hearts into this game. Their love of Siberian Husky, Rocky is evident as well.
Homecoming is a classic that will stand the test of time. Enjoy! -Mama Mia-

Another great Dark Dimensions by Daily Magic. Bold, bright, colorful scenes will pave the way with lots of blues and purples. The vines are angry flaming red colors. Why the vines? Martha must continue to build the house and the vines destroy the old to build the new. They also cause other real damage--to people. Other reviewers have given lovely, thorough game descriptions so I will not rehash.
Game moves quickly. Objects found are placed in a timely fashion--a big plus. The Siberian Husky, Rocky is a masterpiece and other developers could learn to go the extra mile by providing fluid, realistic character movements in their games as well. Enjoy! -Mama Mia-
Elephant Game Developers heard gamers' requests for their return to classic gaming style and they did so in a big Elephant way through Chimeras: Mortal Medicine.
It's a somber atmosphere indeed with an epidemic affecting small children. You, Detective, have been hired to help catch the Healing Doctor who is blamed for the epidemic. Ah! Let no good deed go unpunished. Local officials want this healer found in order to do all acts of punishment against him. Yikes!
Gamers go right into a hidden object scene and then puzzles. Hurray! There's no stopping the Elephant now. Collectibles are puzzles pieces, morphing objects that are umbrellas and cards. There are 4 modes of which I always use Custom Mode. Interactive map that zooms gamers to working sites, Strategy Guide--which, for me anyway, helps finding Collectibles where needed. Music is great as well.
Your demo will cover the first two chapters so enough, back to the game. Enjoy! -Mama Mia-
Honestly, never tire of the Lost Lands as these series remain creative and undiluted. Starts slowly and builds interest with an entertaining story line. Very comfortable game play. Nothing grandiose or eye popping--just very good gaming which I definitely prefer to bells and whistles.
Cast of characters is refreshingly creative as usual. A few typos but every great work of art has a flaw. Even I make mistakes occasionally! Gamers most likely will need the map as did I to navigate through various scenes to place needed items, play puzzles and, therefore, further progress.
A definite high-five and thumbs up to my favorite Developers 5-BN GAMES! Thank you for your outstanding workmanship. Enjoy! -Mama Mia-
