Just finished the CE main game and still have bonus portion. Takes awhile for me to submit a review and that is usually after full game completion. This also helps me to remember if I've played the game already or not. :))
Immersive plot and fantastic all else--artwork, graphics, music and not to mention the "hair pulling out" puzzles. Now, that's something gamers don't find every day--a challenge. Overall game was rather easy to navigate although there was some back and forth action, yet, interactive map was helpful. Some areas--i.e. secret hideouts--could only be reached via map. As they say, 'the devil's in the details". Gotta love 'em!
Elephant Games wins again.

Better late than never now 2015 played this 2nd "The Missing" sequel that was enjoyable and surprisingly challenging at times. Cute as a button, yet, the computer graphics, art work, cut scenes were all top-notch and had some semblance to older pure adventure games like Siberia.
Hidden object scenes galore with fun characters. No dark and gloomy--only fun and entertaining!

Even after 4+ years, still enjoy playing this 2011 game by Sulus Developers. Sound effects, artwork, computer graphics were superior then and outlast many newer games today. Although there are no cut-scenes like today's games, I would love to see a sequel with some of today's improvements coupled with this team of developers' genius.

No bells and whistles here, just a quality gaming experience. Hand drawn superb artwork and immersive music draws gamers down an unexpected rabbit hole to help our Detective Ashley solve seemingly disconnected murders.
This Standard version offers a red ruby to be collected in each scene for added hints or simply for the challenge. Did I say challenge? Yes, the 23 puzzles which gamers can also re-play are more than not, a challenge. Creative, fun, top quality hidden object scenes are also peppered throughout with an interactive map to help jump around. Game leans more toward the adventure side which I prefer although the HO's were so enjoyable, didn't mind them at all. Simplistic, easy to follow, lengthy and challenging.

Long and challenging, gamers get their value and I would highly recommend and more so, strongly suggest to purchase the Collector's Edition for the Strategy Guide convenience. Especially for any of us with short memory issues, I rarely remember what I did a moment ago, the guide will assist with where to go and what to do next if needed.
The story line has it all--love, romance, betrayal, hatred, greed and many of us would feel a common thread of being passed over at some point in our lives--to someone else--someone better, perhaps. Somehow, we must press on and we have done so!
Back to the game to be played in piece work, otherwise, may be pulling hairs out and stomping around a bit. Puzzles and hidden objects as well as the overall game is challenging so no breezing through. Well, not for me! Music score MUST be given a standing ovation as well as the outrageously talented artwork and computer graphics. Cut scenes and acting were absolutely FLAWLESS. These are all the right moves that go into outstanding gaming and not just oh it's fun!
Appreciate this exceptional game brought to us by the very superior Developers VAST STUDIOS!

I was so inclined to give five stars to these developers for nearly falling out of my chair with delightful laughter. A woman's garter belt to hold up stockings was given the name "suspenders". Too funny! Game is pretty good if given the chance and not compared to HOPA games. This is a hidden objects and puzzles game--not rocket science. It's okay with me! Less is more! Will purchase game either with a credit or on a sale and press on!
What famous person said there is no such thing as bad publicity? With so many members taking the time to give a review, I'd say that's a plus and I won't have to apologize for the surprising and unnecessary rudeness--unless, of course, some one--any one of us here has also taken the time, energy, hard work, dedication to TRY and develop a game. Oh, okay, I didn't think so. Who cares what year the game was made? We are a BFG family and the game is presented to us for realistic reviews based on it's own merit and not what everybody else is saying or comparing apples to oranges. How many reviewers have to say the same thing? The best is a review that states not to bother. Really?
There is a different flavor of ice cream for everyone so let's give a big welcome and thank you to these Developers who did a good job and got a game out to BFG as I'm positive that's not an easy feat. Back to the game!

Thought I was going to breeze through this game and was wrong as it's quite challenging especially trying to earn all the Achievements.
A good game for me is challenging yet relaxing at the same time and this European Mystery sequel hit the mark. Searching for tiny morphing shoes was an exception hence the Strategy Guide was a help indeed. However, grabbing 10 items within 10 seconds was another exception and there was no way. Any gamer who is able to accomplish this task is held in my high regard!
Storyline was a bit odd, yet I suppose not altogether impossible and has been done before where plants literally take over with these as a special deadly strain.
Sometimes I prefer playing older games first and save the newer games for later, but really got hooked on this right away so played it through. The music and artwork are pure genius! Bravo!
If you're looking for a challenge, step right up!

Dark and foreboding, Elephant Games brings us a Haunted Hotel complete with stereo sound effects that will make gamers jumpy.
Your sister, Samantha went on a haunted house assignment and here we are--hunting down clues and facing all manner of fright--to find her. Brother warned her, but did she listen? Noooo! Now we have to go after her. Great. Just when I was ready to have a calm and relaxing, long-awaited day off.
Puzzles, Hidden objects, Collectibles (petals, morphing objects, photos) and Achievements not to mention some very nerve wracking hauntings will keep gamers busy with the newest and most splendid Elephant Games release.

Going back through games I hadn't gotten around to playing and finding a gem like FTM: The Puppet Thief is a pleasant and enjoyable surprise--like finding money you've forgotten about in the pocket of a coat.
An older CE minus the bells and whistles which I didn't mind at all. The detailed artwork is OUTSTANDING. The CE does contain a Bonus game, Concept Art and Wallpaper.
Lots of challenging hidden objects and puzzles. Remember to add this to your BFG collection. It's a keeper!

Have not given ERS rave reviews in the past although I do purchase all of their Collector's Edition releases. Eh, if you're going to purchase a game, purchase the entire game--which I would like to see ALL games in the CE version but not the CE price and usually wait for a sale--for that reason.
Agree with other reviewers who stated the clarity and overall art work is simply magnificent as well as the layout of the game is done with pure genius. Where have you been? Game had none of the silliness that sometimes made it's way into their format. Appreciated the Achievement Banners--well done, BRAVO! Quite a bit of trekking although the Map was somewhat helpful--as well as the Strategy Guide--at times when I get turned around.
Bonus Chapter was well presented and didn't cheat gamers out of a continued part of the main game but rather went back into time--which was very well done.
So, now I'm off the play the game a second time to answer the final question differently and see where the game goes.
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
