Every perk a gamer would want in a HOPA game by BLAM Devs--intriguing story line with intricate and colorful 3D graphics, ladies and gentlemen! I played Advanced and enjoyed aspects such as achievements, 35 morphing objects, (haven't gotten them all yet), mini-games and being entrusted, yet again, to save the world from Evil.
You are "the Keeper"--one who is entrusted to safeguard ancients artifacts from evil. Your journey begins in Sevilla, Spain with a trusty map and journal.
Congratulations to Devs the Tyganovs and your very talented Artists, Sound and 3D Team. Bravo BLAM. Has been a few months that I purchased a game on BFG release date. Enjoy! -Mama Mia-
I recommend this game!

No bells, whistles, smoke, dust and mirrors to attempt and captivate gamers at the onset! This is an outstanding game which stands soley on it's quality workmanship--and a Standard Edition at that. Bravo!
Every once in a while we gamers get lucky with an excellent and unique game. This is no amateur project--simply the work of genius. Pay attention to the detailed artwork which will blow you away. Nothing is hidden in numerous shadows and fog.
Game is lengthy. Storyline is original. Hidden objects have appropriate items and are do-able. This is a fun game for all skill levels! Enjoy! -Mama Mia-

Played advanced level and what impressed me from the 1st was live actors with an opening scene that drew you into the story immediately.
Although we've been down this road before--an uninhabited and deserted city due to an evil sorceress who steals souls, Elephant Devs make for entertaining games and this one is no exception.
Interactive map, collecting "items" and achievements. I don't ever remember another game where a hidden object scene could be skipped, however, Adventure gamers may enjoy being able to skip one or two in Hallowed Legends: Ship of Bones.
Very encouraging that Devs listen to us gamers and try to provide something fun for everyone!
Enjoy! -Mama Mia-

Storyline left me reeling in confusion as did the FROG scenes, however Blue Tea Games delivers a powerful light and color display for gamers along with intricate puzzles. With previous games under their belt such as Enlightenus, Fabled Legends, Macabre Mysteries, this gamer appreciates BTG Developers!
Not a fan of fragmented hidden objects and prefer Adventure but I won't give a negative review due to my personal likes as I have read too many of those misplaced reviews.
Seem to be on a rant lately that some of BFG's "new" releases look to be dated and this game is included in that lineup as well--to me, anyways. It's okay. Give us what you got, BFG and let we gamers be the judge.
Only issue is that 2011-2012 gave us such awesome games, I anxiously anticipate the 2013 Game lineup. Seems BFG has a lot going on and may need a breather--or not be as picky-- with the download, streaming, online and mobile site expansions.
Final word, please, BFG, MORE Adventure Games! There has to be some, there in your shop--maybe the back of a drawer. We Adventure Game players are definitely left out in the cold on this Site and there are many of us who love you, BFG, yet have to seek out Adventure games elsewhere.
Enjoy! - Mama Mia -

Thanks to Tim Scheiman and Ghost Ship Studios, Inc. who promised that Kiera Vale was coming back and y'all came through brilliantly!
Pure genius to the Sequel "Nightmare Adventures:The Witch's Prison" which HOG lovers can also enjoy playing both of these not-so-complicated, fun, exciting and mysterious Adventure style games.
New developments have surfaced regarding the "secretive" government agency, A.R.C.A.N.E. and Kiera Vale is involved. A well thought-out and focused adventure, so, enjoy clicking to catch little gems of Developer Tim Scheiman's subtle humor written into the story--as well as to progress.
What's REALLY GREAT is, Ghost Ship Studios present their own style and genius--a simplified, do-able adventure--downright fun and creative.
Also, you can play this 2nd sequel first "The Turning Thorn"and then go back and play the 1st--"The Witch's Prison" as both story lines dovetail beautifully.
Enjoy! -Mama Mia-

Bored with dark and dreary, this game will get you on your feet as the characters and art work are extra creative and you have to work a little to find the objects.
Like Mishap I, you have to explore some hilarious scenes to find a ghost hidden therein. Puzzles are fun as well and very well thought out for a game that could easily be passed by for somewhat swankier looking games. Give it a try! You will be pleasantly surprised at the pure fun gaming enjoyment.
Mishap I and Mishap II are the most fun I've had playing a hidden object game in a very long time. Where is Mishap III?
Thank you game developers and BFG!
Enjoy! -Mama Mia-

A colorful, beautifully drawn 3rd Surface game. All the bells and whistles are included--interactive map, strategy guide, colorful, well-drawn art, bonus items, achievements--that come with a Collector's Edition--however, not worth CE price. I purchase a CE when gameplay and plot are interesting and I want to know and see everything and miss nothing--artwork, music, bonus content.
A really good game, not great! What is it with the Developers' cheap costumes, though? Goggles and a couple sheets sewn together atop Converse sneakers! I love Converse but not paired up with advanced technology. It is comical and takes away any believability, boom, right from the beginning--but maybe the numbers are more important. I don't get it.
Everything else is done well and I love the vibrant colors!
Will purchase in the future.
Enjoy! -Mama Mia-

Game seemed outdated and maybe on the shelf while Vast Studios has already put out some of the greatest game series ever designed--Cursed Memories, Shattered Minds I & II, Nightfall Mysteries I, II, III, Written Legends, etc.
Seems disjointed with a lot of to and fro which doesn't bother me if the game holds my interest. Although a bit silly, artwork is superb with focus on music and artsy objects.
Vast Studios is one of my favorite developers and I will purchase in the future as I have learned that a demo can be deceving and hoping the game improves...
On the same hand, Vast Studios does not usually create "easy-to-play" games--you have to work the game. Unfortunately, developers are pressured by "the masses" for "easier" games and this is what we gamers seem to be getting lately, i.e. the majority of BFG's January 2013 "new" games have been mind numbing & notably inferior-- which is why I am combing through the numerous purchased BFG games that I haven't had time to play/finish.
Enjoy! -Mama Mia-
I recommend this game!

Orneon Devs came up with a true winner, ahead of it's time game! Decided to play all 4 Echoes of the Past as I purchased them and never had a chance to get into gameplay.
Although some HO scenes were dark as you are exploring a "Middle Ages" castle, objects were appropriate and discernible and one last object would be used to further gameplay.
Storyline really draws you in and, once there, the artwork is breath taking. Forward to next game play "Echoes of the Past - The Castle of Shadows" where it looks, so far, improvements were made on the lighting! Awesome!
Enjoy! -Mama Mia-

Is anyone else weary of reading negative reviews just because a game isn't a HOG and lacks the predictable HOG bells and whistles rather than a hearty game challenge?
It all started with BFG weekend sale and reading such varied reviews so I tried this little gem of a game--just the demo to see for myself. Like a good book, I couldn't stop and played straight through. This game is defintely more an adventure with a few interactive objects-- and certainly NOT A HOG.
Scenes were dark because this young lady is in a coma, and the atmosphere was set accordingly. Game would have been even more awesome had the scenes been brighter and the objects larger, however, storyline was intriguing and puzzles pressed me to go forward--solve, solve, solve!
On my feet often times, magnifying glass in one hand and pen and paper in the other. Game is timed where you have to work the scene qucikly with a few interactive objects and then complete puzzles to advance to next Chapter. Puzzles are do-able and rather fun. There are puzzle skip options, however, they are limited, otherwise, the game would be nil and any puzzle can be replayed if skipped or competed--a thoughtful added game bonus!
Gameplay is not for relaxation into la-la-land---you have to be qucik and, sometimes, replay chapters if timer runs out. There were a few Chapters I needed to replay and a few with just seconds left and I haven't played a good game like this one in a very long time!
Enjoy! -Mama Mia-
I recommend this game!
