With so many games to select from at BFG, this is another BFG Winner with an assortment of puzzles, etc. Has "all the right stuff" including great graphics and an interesting story line! Very pleased with purchase.

Played the demo and knew within minutes that I would purchase! Actually, I purchased the Collector's Edition! Very pleased with 9:The Dark Side. Bravo!
Visuals are really beautiful. A lot of the objects too small for me especially trying to find all the diamonds! A very pretty game for the girls. Other Gamers will totally enjoy this straightforward HOG! Did not purchase.
This is a simple, straightforward Hidden Object Game investigating a haunting due to a young girl's death back in the 1800's. Very interesting concept. I enjoy basic HOG's, however, the hidden objects were too small and I did not purchase the game.
Dark Parables does have beautiful, detailed art work, however I never liked the "frog turning into a prince fairy tale" particulary well. Prefer hidden objects rather than fragmented objects. Finding parts of objects are not fun as colors, shapes, etc. can be misleading and difficult to locate. Bright colors and many puzzles in Dark Parables game and should be fun for those who don't mind fragmented object games--just not for me!

Had a lot of promise, however, objects needed extra scrutiny. Lots of challenging achievements, however, I don't have that kind of time or patience to search for itty bitty objects, attempt to better previous scores, win achievements and collect stamps while holding a magnifying glass--not to say I've never done so. Just don't want to work that hard in a game anymore. I would recommend this game though as a lot of work and thought went into this HOG.

Played demo only on advanced level. Beautiful artwork! Game definitely is a refreshing change from dark and gloomy, however, not my cup of tea. Moved rather slow for me and became disinterested, but that is just me.
Played through demo only on Advanced Level. Nothing out of the ordinary other than game being an intense psychological thriller and me feeling terrified. Extraordinary artwork. Not a whole lot going on in the demo other than me poking around, completing mini-games and hidden object scenes. Recommend for gamers who like sci-fi thrillers. Did not purchase.
Goal is to escape Dr. Torpse's clutches from his mental ward and solve the Island's mystery. Scary sights and flashbacks. Appropriate soft, eerie background music with an occasional drill sound. Yikes! Hidden objects appropriate and can locate. To Do List" was straightforward and kept me on course--too much-- as it would spell out the answers. Would not need the CE for Strategy Guide. Certainly not childrend friendly as there are some distrubing scenes.
