I got the demo first, which I thought was fun and therefore worth my two credits. I downloaded 3 diff games to try and picked this one. Obviously, the storyline and the visuals sucked me in, they were good. Sadly, the challenge is lacking, in my opinion. There is one HOS per room. I did like that it told me when I was done with a room. That was really helpful. There were less than a handful of puzzles. So many things could have been a puzzle like most games and they weren't. For example, I had to get pipes, but I didn't have to figure out how to place them. It was interesting that I had to figure out what objects where needed where to get the next object. That was interesting. I also liked that you got more than one object per HOS. So, there weren't HOSes for HOSes sake, as it were. I might play it again, someday, but it will be a while. Now I need to go find something else with more puzzles. I'm going to recommend this game, but I mean the basic edition, not the CE.

I don't have any negatives. I played at the hardest level and had to refer to the Guide once when I could not find one object no matter how long I looked. Other than that, I found I had to think about what I was doing, but I was only perplexed once. Rehitting every spot one last time took care of the problem, as it usually does. It took me approx. 5 hours to play. I will say around the time that games usually end, this one had another hour of game play left. I will definitely play the other levels. I want to find all the cursed objects. I love anything from Blue Tea, and I like find the parts that make an object HOS games. I'm sure they have a name, but I don't know it. They didn't have a list of objectives or a map of what was going on at the hardest level and I still knew what I was doing and going along the way. That's the only reason I gave it OK on the challenge level. It wasn't hard, but it sure was fun. It is definitely a game I can play more than once.
I really liked this game. It wasn't so complicated that I couldn't figure out where to go next. The puzzles are fresh, but fairly easy. You can't really mess up, which is why I gave it 3 stars for challenge. I didn't feel the need for a strategy guide. I was a little annoyed moving around because it has to load each time. It didn't take long, but still. I also wish there was a note book. I had to back track to the clue to get information most games log for you in the notes. Other than that, I really enjoyed playing it. I prefer games with more puzzles than HOS and this had a good mix.

I love the hidden objects that break the object up in to parts and scatter them around the scene. So this one works for me. This one is a few years old so it doesn't have the same visual beauty of some of the newer ones, but isn't ancient. It's pretty easy to find the objects. It would be a fun game I could play over and over if the character didn't pop in every time I found an object. It gets really annoy, really fast. I've gotten so used to the way games are designed in just the past year, I find even more annoying today. But, I keep it on GMgr because every now and again, I try it again. If you don't mind the characters interacting constantly, you'll like this one.
