I have about 10 of the Clearit! games and though I enjoy them, they can sometimes be too easy (also, harder levels have less boards). This game, and I'm up to level 60, has 135 levels total. Some of them are quite challenging but never so much that you get frustrated and quit. The bonus' come up enough to get you out of tight spots. They also figure into the solution to a couple of the boards. I had to restart a couple of the levels so far, but didn't mind. Had the board figured out by then :)

First, there are several nanogram type games on BF that require logic that have way better graphics. This game is timed and if you're like me, I don't want to feel rushed when playing casual games because, well, they're casual. If you want to get perfect scores, you will have to hurry through to make the time. The images are just crude shapes and there's only one color. Not a lot of thought went into the designing of these puzzles. It's a pass for me.

I play a lot of these types of games and really enjoy them. However, when there's no puzzle element or, in this case, very little, it's just not fun for me. This game is an example of that. I bought it, kept waiting for the challenge to happen but it never came.
Looked like a fun game. Howeer, ever since I installed and attempted to play this game, my bigfish client and games have been giving me access violations. Not sure if this game contains malicious code or is just broken. I am not a novice when it comes to software and have tried several things to narrow down why this is happening but this is something to definitely be aware of.

During the trial, which I played til it timed out, the only mistakes I made were due to the fact that I couldn't tell the difference between the squares I had filled and the background color, which shows through the game board. Seriously? All they have to do to make this a five star game is make the game board an all-over, light (or even just solid) color. Passed.

I play a lot of these type of nonogram games. My favorite series are the Rainbow Mosaics as well as the Fantasy Mosaic series, but that one has become unchallenging (that's a different review). After playing through the hour, I decided no on this one as I did with the other Around the World predecessors. It's "clunky" in controls, the screen (in full screen) is too small and I was just not enjoying it. Will wait for the next Rainbow to come out.

Word of warning...once you reach the mid-60s levels (assuming you're going for 3 stars on each level), all of the power-ups have been purchased. Once this happens, challenge is out the window. Though there are 132 levels to this game, the only ones with any challenge are the first half.

So I played the hour and decided I would buy it. Was having fun until I got to the "heal the elder" (which is early in the game). I completed the steps before it, and there's nothing to click on in order to complete the task. I can find no help, guidance, whatever, so I'm stuck at this part without being able to continue. It's frustrating and I don't play games to be frustrated.

Since the game has already been described, I felt the need to add that the game seems incomplete. The "instructions" were very short because there's only a couple things you can do. As soon as the second level, I got into a tight corner. Made numerous matches of two tiles, as that was all there was. Once those matches were made, there was nothing else to do. As far as I can tell, there are no power ups, help, etc once there are no matches on the board and it doesn't automatically reset the pictured tiles. If they had gone a couple extra steps in this game, I would have bought it.

A nice refreshing change from the usual HOGs, match 3s, etc. You have tasks to complete and just from the one hour I played, seems there is plenty to do. One thing that is bothering me is that it has tasked me twice now (in the first hour) to share a screenshot. Screenshots are easy, but it doesn't explain how to share nor is it obvious (have checked all the menus/options). You cannot refuse the task so it sits there. What if I don't want to share? I mean, really, who cares? seems an obvious grab for free advertising from the game. For that, I removed a star. But other than that, it's a buy for me.
