I like the puzzle a lot...simple yet challenging. I really wanted to play this game but only lasted about 10 minutes because the picture of the puzzle you're supposed to match is so tiny it's a strain on the eyes. Most of my time was spent trying to figure out what the end result was supposed to look like than in working the puzzle. If the puzzle and the model were side by side and the same size, and if the puzzle pieces were vibrantly colored, it would be fun, challenging, and different. The story doesn't matter that much to me but when the picture (of the cabin) is so intriguing and magickal, I expect the voice telling the story to match. The narrator sounded like someone reading a book to little children. A woman with a lower voice that doesn't shriek would be more magickal. I would likely have bought this if it weren't for the eye strain. I hope developers start remembering that they may be twenty-something, but most of their audience is not.
I don't recommend this game.

There are no directions for this game and after two different sessions, I couldn't make sense of it. I'm supposed to get 8 of something but it doesn't say what that something is or how to get it. It's a mystery as to why the round ends and I've gotten only 7 or 0 or whatever. The only reason I tried as long as I did is because the goo makes cute noises.
I don't recommend this game.

This game is totally different from what I've seen on BFG. I enjoy games requiring logic and strategy and this one fits the bill. It's challenging but not frustratingly difficult. A super difficult level would be a nice addition. It's great fun and hard to stop playing :)
My only complaint is that the game is too short for my liking. It would be nice to see some super challenging levels. After the first time through it would be nice to turn off the 'unfortunate event' that happens after each round so you can quickly get back into game play.
The game has replayability by trying to improve your time to beat the 'expert time'. I've only managed to make it a couple times. You can't memorize the answers as the game boards are randomly generated so while the characters stay the same, you can't improve your score by 'knowing' the answers.
Because it's short, I don't think it's worth full price but the fun of playing something really different is worth the $5 I paid.
I recommend this game!

the characters are cute and the storyline seems amusing. by level 3 I still couldn't figure out how basic functions worked. It said I needed 3 'food' to cut down a tree. wouldn't let me then suddenly started allowing me to cut trees. Wouldn't open the chests then suddenly all but one opened with a click. I had almost 1000 food but after happily cutting several trees it wanted something more and I have no idea what. The game has no directions. Maybe it's fun if you can figure it out but I found it an exercise in frustration. Why waste time on it when I can find something that makes sense.
I don't recommend this game.

The original Royal Envoy was the best time management game I've played and required strategy, not just clicking. Loved it, loved it! RE 2 is a huge disappointment requiring a lot of clicking to get materials. Not only is it pointless effort but it makes for a cluttered screen that detracts from the visual appeal that was so enchanting in the original game. The sound effects of the workers is annoying whereas the workers mumblings in the original version added to the feel of the story. I gave Royal Envoy 2 a lower rating than it probably deserves when compared to all the TM games out there but after playing the original, I can't give this more than a 2. Kids might like it but I was bored, bored, bored.
This game is similar to the old Tumblebugs 2 but lacks the fun backgrounds of Tumblebugs 2. There are lots better marble shooter games out there. The boss-battles were not explained and after 3 minutes of having the shooter facing backwards and blasting marbles into the bottom of the screen I gave up trying to figure out how to turn the shooter to face the boss target. A tedious game. Best I can say is that the marbles are colorful.
I don't recommend this game.

Royal Envoy
Take the King's challenge! Save the wonderful land of countless islands, Islandshire, from the merciless forces of nature.
This game will appeal to those who love an exciting challenge AND those who prefer a relaxing game. Each level comes with specific tasks that must be completed to move to the next island. Tasks might include building certain types of houses, buildings, overcome road blocks, etc. The first time through each level I mainly got the lay of the land. You can take as long as you like to complete the tasks but the real challenge is doing the level fast enough to earn gold level status. To earn gold, you have to develop a strategy for completing the tasks in just the right order. Do you need to buy workers first or build a market or pay off the pirate? Each level requires a different mix of materials, workers, and gold. Developing a strategy for each level is key and achieving gold is no easy feat. The graphics and chatter of the characters are delightful and the music is upbeat without being annoying. You definitely get your money's worth with Royal Envoy. If you enjoy the demo, you'll love the full version!
I recommend this game!

7 Artifacts
You must solve the mystery of the secret prophecy! Activate the power of the Artifacts and claim the Gold Athena as your reward!
the graphics are clear and colorful; that's the good part. The bad part is that there's so much motion it made me dizzy and I had to quit playing. There's way too much on each screen. The music is annoying; it's repetitive and not relaxing. The screen layouts are incredibly boring and unraveling the message is an exercise in 'who cares'. At best this game is tedious. There are so many great Match-3 games out there. This isn't one of them. I can't even recommend this one for beginners.
I don't recommend this game.

Story of Fairy Place
Become a charming fairy`s hero in this amazing butterfly matching game where you flutter in a world of fairytales and magic.
the butterflies are pretty but there's so much motion that this game made me dizzy. Even playing in 2D mode was too much. The round ends before you've cleared all the spaces; not sure what that's about. Navigation is not intuitive. If you really love match 3 and the motion doesn't bother you, you'll probably enjoy the game. Good for older children 7-12
I recommend this game!

Mystika: Between Light and Shadow
The magic world of Lumina needs a new hero! It's up to you to face Tenebria, the queen of the dark world in the original Match 3 game, Mystika!
I was immediately impressed with the gorgeous clear graphics, the beautiful map, and pleasant colors of the playing pieces. But a few rounds in, a pop up declared that bats would appear to annoy me and I had to chase them and keep clicking on them till they disappeared. They did the job all right, they were incredibly annoying. So much so that I had no inclination to buy this game and stopped playing the demo after 45 minutes. If I wanted to stop playing match-3 to play an arcade game I would have chosen an arcade game
While the graphics are stunning, the font used for the 'score' and 'round' info at top is so out of character for the rest of the game that I found it distracting; these two are in a font that looks like a computer punched card. Huh? The rest of the game has appropriate fonts yet here's computer punch card in large letters across the top of the screen.
There are lots of great match 3 games out there; this isn't one of them.
