hated boring lists of non interactive hidden object screens, there is no reason for boring lists for hidden objects it means devs get lazy.
disliked the detective did not follow the laws to solve the crime with no mystery who did the crime, made it too easy to solve

I just finished this Game It is best in series.. I love all the voices especially the humor of old monk who had me laughing aloud. I had fun solving the ghosts quests. There are some objects you turn that are 3 D puzzles on how to open them that are beautiful, unique. I hope their is a sequel and the old monk is back again or used in another game. I almost lost this gem because not enough rating game. Please at least try it and I hope you will agree it is one of a kind. The main eye candy is the 3D objects. It has a great Journal that even contains videos. The hint system shows you what to do if stuck. The map is interactive click and go. If you like adventure Games with unique 3D puzzle objects with many other various puzzles, a game that has a sense of humor, great voice overs, fast skip, fun achievements, please don't miss trying this diamond of a game.
I recommend this game!

This Game has a fantastic storyline, just when you think you know who the killer is, that person is disqualified. I won't say how. The hidden objects are easy to find and do not get in the way of the storyline as so many hidden object screens do. I enjoyed the voice overs for all characters. My favourite games are Mystery Detective and this is now one of my favourite games. I never had to use help , it is a great game in my opinion. There were no dark places for the hidden object screens. I hope there will be more games like this, I love solving crime stories that are full voiced. My opinion is after I finished the Game. I was sorry to see it end. This Game I would have paid for a bonus game in collectors edition I thought it was that interesting.
I recommend this game!

I know some people don't care if a game has no voices in it. I only buy games that contain voice overs. This game would have been so much better with voices for characters, instead of hearing my own voice read the text. I won't be buying the Game for this reason.
I don't recommend this game.
Midnight Castle is yours - but it holds so many secrets and such mysterious inhabitants! Uncover them all in Midnight Castle!

I keep trying to like this game and for a free game it doesn't seem like a money grab, so that is plus side. I hate games where you can only progress until you are forced with a choice whether to buy crystals to proceed. I promptly uninstall the Games when this happens. I hate boring Hidden object screens with no interactivity. I hate repetitive hidden object screens. If this game had voices it would have made it more interesting. Everyone has their idea of fun and for me this Game isn't for me.
I don't recommend this game.
Play as a bungling detective Max Stone, who takes on Evergreen Heights' criminal underworld and hunt down Jimmy Menendez and his gang!

The first 3 minutes of demo I knew I would buy the game. If you want a card game with a sense of humor, great voice, interesting storyline I highly suggest you buy this game. I have just given my opinion this is not really a review I will let others expound on the game content.
The graphics are not impressive but I overlooked that because of the content, and usually if graphics are not eye candy I don't buy the game.
I recommend this game!
Resolve a family squabble before the gates to the realm of the dead swing open and horrors beyond imagination pour into this world!

I didn't expect this rare Diamond of a Game to come with a low price tag. Don't miss it! Player finds coins used to buy items in a store to reduce time for hints and mini games skips.The voices are well done. I actually enjoy and look forward to very interactive fun hidden object screens. The mini games are fun. The storyline is fun. There is a sense of humor when you least expect it.
I bought Dead Reckoning Collectors edition and I bought this Game. I prefer playing Other Side to Dead reckoning because I didn't moan at boredom of hidden object screens or the Mini Games with the Other side.
If I had to choose between Dead Reckoning Collectors Edition and The Other side tower of souls, I would save my money and choose the Other Side.
The Developer makes it interesting when we click on objects we are surprised when either a witty remark is made or a voice speaks. Try it and be amazed at the sense of humor of the Game Developer. The sculptor in the tower is my favorite. Sculptor says different sentences as you watch him fall apart before your eyes.
It is evident the Game Developer enjoyed making this Game with all the added extra voice comments and descriptions of objects. I look forward to seeing their next Game.
I have a short list of my favorite Game Developers where I purchase the Games trusting and expecting the Best. I have just added a new Game Developer to my Trusted favorite list. I look forward to seeing what this Game Developer will do next. I Highly recommend the Game.
This Game has more bells and whistles than some of the Top Game Developers in my opinion. The highest recommendation for necessary criteria for me is the Game must be FUN. I am nearly finished with the Game and I recommend it because it is FUN.
Don't let the sale price fool you. I enjoy the achievements that are more than how fast we find hidden objects. The Achievements are connected to the Storyline progression.
The voices I enjoy as it helps immerse ourselves into the Storyline. Thanks Bigfish for this low price I used a coupon but would have paid full price.
I recommend this game!

I will let others give you the long review. I enjoyed meeting different suspects with voices and solving the crime. I finished the Game. I did not enjoy the hidden object screens, or mini Games. I thought the graphics in hidden object screens are not as good as I am use to from this Dev.
The hidden object screens with long random object lists are especially boring toward end of Game there are 2 long lists back to back. The lists have no interactivity and are boring in my opinion. I skipped nearly all the mini Games very boring nothing new .
The hidden object screens ruined the flow of the story for me. I expected gorgeous graphics for hidden objects zoomed up close views with unique various ways of finding objects.
One hidden object screen was fun it involved in a character giving riddles to find the object using the Character's voice. I have never encountered this done before and hope Dev will continue to use it again in more Games.
My favourite Game is still Cadenza: Music, Betrayal and Death Collector's Edition

I don't regret buying the Game but for the first time I am not rating a Game from this Developer 5* . I have always in the past rated 5* but if I don't ask for better hidden object screens and mini Games how will the Developers know.

I just finished the entire Game and I had so much fun!
The Graphics are gorgeous from one screen to another. The Characters we meet are delightful with awesome voices.

I will let others tell the story this is just a quick response to my review of the Game. The bonus Game is fun also.
I love the pick a response to a Characters comment. This makes the game re-playable but I am not sure it will change the ending of the Game. I hope more Games will include this.
I hate static boring long list for hidden objects. I am grateful when I see riddle hidden object screens and various ways to keep the hidden object screens fun like this Game.

I am impressed with the voices with perfect lip sync plus beautiful detailed character graphics. The game was easy to figure out I never had to use a hint. I didn't care for mini game of fighting phobias so just skipped them. The storylines are very interesting. I also enjoyed the text facts from Dr. Freud among others. I will look forward to seeing more from this Developer. Some of the top game developers can learn some lessons with Character graphics, voices, lip sync. I recommend the game and if you don't like the mini game just skip it there is plenty of other interactions.
Clicking on Maya will show you whether you can use the object you picked up. When Maya shrugs her shoulders it means the object cannot be used in the way you are trying to use it or it means it cannot be used yet.
I enjoyed this is an adventure Game without hidden object screens. I would have paid full price for the Game I am enjoying it so much. Object is hypnotizing patients, exposing their phobias causing visions so they get well mentally. The main object is finding the Dr. who has been missing for 2 days who is also Maya X boyfriend.
I recommend this game!
