I am enjoying the Game but although it says 90 minutes demo ended at 60 minutes. I am impressed with the high quality of voices. The Graphics are nicely done but characters have no animation, no lip sync. The Hidden object screens are gratefully not back to back.
The hint refills quickly if needed. There are two interactive items in hidden object screens but otherwise standard list. I appreciate option to brighten screen. The mini Games are not hard and were fun. I just purchased Game at the sale price.
I recommend this game!

I bought this Game immediately even though I didn't think I would because I already have werewolf Games I have not finished. I rate the Game 10 stars and hope it wins an award for best Game. Game gave me a scare more than once! Graphics , animation ,sound, voices, unique mini Games, has everything I want in a game, except lip sync but its forgivable.
This Game has made me jump more than one time when the werewolf appears! The cut movie clips are done so beautifully, along with the Voices, and Graphics. I really love the mystery of the Game finding out who we can, or cannot trust, and who will die next and the motive for killing.
I love using the analyser to identify objects.
I usually groan when I see another hidden object screen , but ERS kept every hidden object screen a joy to play! This is not just a long random list with a few interactive objects but majority of the objects. I appreciate the choice for all if we don't want to play hidden object screen , there is another Game. I haven't played the other game because the hidden object screens are so much fun! I seldom need a clue. Thankfully this Game gives us much interactivity it is not just one hidden object screen after another. This Game has a mystery to solve and the interactivity makes it feel more like adventure Game, which is my favourite Game.
The map is very beautiful graphics where we can easily see what has been finished and what area has not been entered yet.
I love the Mini Games, I have skipped a few because of impatience just wanting to get on with the story but the majority I enjoyed playing and won them.
I enjoy the collectable items we find as they are placed in a special room, describing why the object is important.
The Characters are interesting and beautifully detailed even there clothes. I enjoy inspecting them for clues with the magnifying glass.
This is a Game that deserves a Game of the Year award. I hope it is a very long Game because it will be sad to see it end.
I highly recommend the Game if you like a Game that gives you a unexpected scare. The werewolf does not look like the standard image that never looks scary to me. The image of the werewolf really looks frightening.
This Game is gorgeous! I also enjoy the music chosen for it .

Guests keep disappearing from a gimmicky haunted hotel. Is there someone pulling the strings, or are these ghosts actually real?

I am so disappointed in this boring Game. I have bought every Elephant Collectable they set high standards for other Game Developers. I usually buy when demo is 15-30 minutes into demo. Sadly I will be uninstalling after forcing myself to play half an hour! HO HUM BORING! 1st time I complained about Elephant quality! BFG forum has others voicing same opinion.
Here is what I do NOT like about the new Game and will NOT be buying it even if it was given for 1 coupon.
The Graphics are not up to the standard I am used to in other Games I enjoyed and became accustomed to especially in my collectables. I usually love Elephant Games and expect the Best always going above not below the standard of Games set for others . I expect the best just by the Name of my Favourite Game Developers.
It is true the voices are well done, but the main character James just stands there static without any animation or no lip synch.. Sherlock Holmes is example of animated Character that feels life like pulls us in the story.
In the demo I only got as far as the Dining Room but there was no zoom to door that I would know to use a key in the door.
I have played unknown Game Developers that have beautiful animated Characters, gorgeous graphics, lip synch, fun hidden objects , unique mini games, interesting storyline. I want to buy the Game to find out the ending.
In Collection Edition bonus such as Morphing objects , unique achievements based on story line, voices, lip synch should be normal.
Elephant I am one of your loyal customers. I can't be silent and not complain because I expect more from one of my Favourite Game Developers not less!
I groan when I see the long random list of items with few interactive items, it is ho hum boring! Finding jars for a collectable does not make this worthy for a Collections Edition price in my opinion..
I hate the storyline if it would have been actually haunted maybe story would have been more interested but knives floating are controlled by magnets. In demo what we thought would be scare factors are laughable finding out its just the owners inventions.
Maybe the story will change later but I can't stick around to find out, I have many more interesting Games that deserve the attention that are fun! Yes I am going to play other Games the same Dev has released and I am enjoying them.
The Hidden object screens are junk piles list of random objects not needed.
The mini games I find ho hum boring! I won a few memory test but again it was boring! Cadenza Game is the way I love Hidden objects making it fun, unique, and mini games a joy!
I got as far as the dining room with floating knives skipped the boring magnet puzzle. I skipped majority of puzzles. I love Story Puzzles, fun unique puzzles like as been in some of the best collectable Games such as Cadenza among other favourite Game Developers. I love riddle Hidden objects and putting back displaced objects. Long list of random items with a few interactive is taking the easy way out just to fill the Game. .
If you think our reviews are harsh the truth is we expect the best because usually we know when we see the name of Game Dev we know we are getting the best entertainment for our money. I made a comment recently all I have to do is see the name of a Game Developer and I know I will be purchasing the Game. I have just made my first exception to that rule.
This Game could have been so entertaining with a scare factor if the above had been improved. I did like the morphing of certain creatures that looked normal and suddenly turn evil looking. I also appreciated the animation, like the blowing of the curtains as if wind was blowing.
I highly suggest People try before just buying this Game and don't assume it will be like the other releases. I am so grateful I did not hit the buy key.
I don't recommend this game.

I just finished the game including the bonus game and had fun doing it. Excellent voice overs, fun hidden objects loved putting things back where they belonged. I enjoyed the interesting story plus graphics done well. Collectable are canes. The bonus game added to the main story.
I recommend this game!

I own nearly all Nancy Drew Games since the first release. my favourites are the ones I won, that did not have hard puzzles or need for fast reflexes. I was enjoying game until I got stuck with puzzles I can't solve even with help of a walkthrough. The Game had just begun and now I realize I have wasted my money yet again on a Nancy Drew that will never be finished.
I saw someone complain they thought the voices were badly done all I have to say they may need to get a new sound card or new speakers because the southern accents and all voices are easily understood.
I deducted stars because it looks like another Game will be left unfinished because like all of Herr Games there is no skip if you get stuck in amateur with hard puzzles.
I have wasted money again as much as I LOVE Nancy Drew I HATE there is no skip! I am stuck on the puzzles and it isn't as easy as reading the walkthrough because they are complicated puzzles .
If You haven't played Nancy Drew warning if you do not like racking your brain over puzzles, don't buy this game. I have encountered a dead end with hard puzzles even with walkthrough I can't solve it.
The storyline is interesting but there are too many puzzles that ruin it for me. I am still at the beginning and stuck trying to get back to Harper for the 2nd time. I ask for help on BFG Forum but thus far no one has offered help.
I know Herr would sell many more games if they would add skip to the puzzles. I do appreciate there are built in hints for knowing where to find items, or people.
One of the best parts of Nancy Drew I enjoy is the cell phone conversations with Bess and Ned.
If you like hard puzzles with no skip I recommend the Game.
If you don't like hard puzzles with no skip, I suggest you don't buy the Game or you will regret it the way I do now.
I don't recommend this game.
Set out with Bella in search of her brother through the pages of well-known novels and true stories.

I played demo and bought immediately. I will let others describe the unique storyline. I enjoy the beautiful clear graphics, The voices are done well, the characters animation, hidden object screens fun, adventure with gorgeous map. I don't care the places are already on map before I get there, it doesn't affect game play. Please don't listen to negative reviews try this game and I hope you agree you enjoy it the way I do so you will encourage more games like this from developer.
I recommend this game!

I almost missed this gem of a game. I enjoyed this game played for 5 hours taking my time. The mini games I basically skipped. The hidden object screens are more than just a list you move when the list becomes dim meaning it is found in another screen. The graphics are clear, hidden object screens beautifully done.
Voice overs and characters you meet are just as good as top rated developers. Storyline is interesting and I will be doing some research after game. Highly recommend to try this free game. There were no glitches like the well known devs lately. I like more adventure than hidden object lists and this game satisfied my desire to solve mysteries. I don't know if this is a new Game Developer but I am interested in seeing more from them. In my opinion Game very well done.

Everyone has a preference in a game, for me it was Cadenza that makes hidden objects fun. No long lists, keeps it interesting, interaction, short list. If you like double the hidden object screens this game is for you. If you prefer more adventure with unique hidden objects like me you may want to pass this by. I love riddle hidden object, with much interaction. I find too many hidden objects break up storyline for me. Try it you might like it, but I hated it and won't be buying. I love mini games with storytelling the best. Sorry this game just isn't my idea of fun.
I don't recommend this game.

I love murder mysteries , ghostly games, fantasy games, so I almost passed this game up thinking it would just be catching a thief. I found this Game to have everything I need in a game to keep it interesting, graphics, voices, animation, storyline. I love not going from one hidden object to another screen that breaks up the storyline for me. I enjoy everything about this game.
I love Adventure, interactive hidden objects, hate random items on list especially non interactive. This game is NOT boring who do you believe between boyfriend/girlfriend in finding truth behind robbery.
I recommend this game!
Discover a story of mysterious kidnappings of both children and mafiosi.
