This game makes it to the top of my list of favorite games. Not to repeat what others have said, I will only add my two cents worth regarding why this is a a great game.
1) A different storyline. You're out in space. I love it. I'm a great syfy fame.
2) This game has a map that not only tells you where to go next, but it takes you there. What a great addition to any game.
3) The hidden object scenes are nicely done.
4) The storyline is wonderful. The main character is in space after being asleep for 150 years. She not only runs across out of space challenges, but she also hears from individuals who have died on the planet, why they died, and what she needs to do to get off of it.
5) The story ends with you hoping that it will be continued in another game.
I hope so!!
Thanks developers for a great game!!!!!
I recommend this game!

I played the first two "Rich" games and loved them. While I'm always impressed when developers make changes to the game play, I don't know of those changes were good with this version.
The Good -- As usual, you have the challenge of building structures in a given time period (days). As a TM this is the best part of this game.
The NOT So Good -- The first thing that I really don't lke about this game is that you don't know how many days you need to finish the tasks to get gold. You only find this out after playing the level and then, only if you want to replay play that level. How in the world are you to know what you have to do if you're not given all the information up front.
The Really NOT SO GOOD -- The constant pop-ups of the bandit and the rodents and the need to "click-click" to speed up the workers. I played up to level 9 and still there was not an option to purchase upgrages to eliminate these annoying features. Speaking of upgrades, you cannot get them until you earn so many stars or other features. You're not given the option to complete star task until you have completed a level. -- Really!!
I purchased this game without playng the demo, thinking that it would be as good as the other two. Disappointed!
While this game has some great potential, it seems like the developers rushed to get it out and missed the boat!!
I don't recommend this game.

I did not play the first one so I cannot compare, but this one I loved. The storyline and voice over keep me engaged in the game. I usually turn off the sound, but enjoyed it in this game. The game has a map wish I didn't use (used hints instead to tell me where to go). This worked for me. The hidden object scenes where well done and set in the appropriate time period and the objects fit the story. No finding a plunger and anything else that had nothing to do with the storyline. This game was not too challenging, but for me, that was great. Sometimes I just want to enjoy the game and not have to run all over the place. Mini-games were different and enjoyable to play. Througout the game you are tasked to find flowers to earn points to purchase things to build your office. I did not do this. I will later when I purchase the game. Thanks developers for not giving us the same-old-same-old!!! I played the full demo and now I have to go purchase to get to the end of the story. Keep up the good work.
I recommend this game!

For those who like this type of game, all I can say is that there is nothing new and some things are different -- not good nor bad.
As usual, you have to collect resources and build structures, in my 30 minutes of play time, I did not run across anything the would excite me to purchase this game.
You collect resources in two ways -- you build structures that produce the resources, and you run around and pick them up along the many paths.
After each level, your "castle" is rebuilt -- you don't have to do anything here but watch as it's being built.
Throughout the game, as usual, you assign characters to buildings to work.
If you are new to these types of games, this might be a good game to start with. It's very simple and not very challenging.
If you are a skilled gamer for these types of games, you will be bored after minutes of play.
The game is not one that I would recommend to skilled players, but new players might give it a go.
I recommend this game!

Yes, there are a lot of hidden object scenes. If you enjoyed playing the games in the Big City Adventure series but have gotten a little bored with them, I think that you might like this game. The hidden object scenes are a plenty -- not difficult -- with each scene have some interaction. There are mini-games which relate to the achievement of game goals, rather than there being a mini-game for the "fun of it." The hint/skip option is slow to refill until you find all (26) the cards throughout the game. The good news is that you will probably not have to use the hint to find objects. You may use it to get help with "what to do next." The storyline is OK -- I like it. Again, the storyline and the game play match. The game play is on the easy side -- good for a relaxing game play. Graphics are good, not great. Fun factor, great for me because there are those times that I just want to play a "no brainer." I cannot comment on length. 50 minutes of game play and I was just starting Act II. I will put this game on my probably will buy list. Too early in the month to make my game commitments -- Smile. I recommend that players give this game a try!
I recommend this game!

Its been a while since there has been a M3 worth purchasing. This is a pretty good one and somewhat different. Not like most M3 where you earn bonus as you go, this one, you have to not only earn them, you then have to purchase them. The game is timed and relaxed. I played timed. The time is for the M3 not the hidden objects. There are mini-games. I played the full demo and only one mini-game so far. The storyline is presented at the beginning and you have to solve the murder as you go. If you like M3 this is a good one. If you're looking for more hidden object play, there is less of this. I was so into the game that the demo was up before I knew it. Off to purchase to keep playing!
I recommend this game!

A Mixed Review ... Things That Would Have Made the Game Better!

Having played 55 minutes of the demo, I can only say that I have mixed reviews, but I will purchase this game anyway because it's different, and once I figured out how to make the game more enjoyable for me, I know what to do. I will purchase and start a new game. I would have given this game more than 3 stars, but . . .
First, to really enjoy this game, you need to do two things: 1) Read the tutitoral first, and more importantly, be sure to read how to use the map. You will need the map to get around the game. 2) Have paper and pencil ready, because you will need to go back to houses throughout the game. As you play the game, write down what the people need and the house number. When you collect what's needed, it will be easy to go back through the use of the map. I didn't figure this out until my demo was almost up.
The second thing that made this a mixed review for me was that there was no skip option. I finally figured out that you could work through the dialogue by clicking. Who makes a game these days with a skip option -- Smile.
Sound -- I hated it. I would have rather had no sound from the characters than the sound that was provided.
Storyline, was OK.
Challenge -- mostly you have to remember who needs what.
With all my complaining, you probably are saying "why purchase the game?"
Because it's different and once I following my own advise, I think this will be a very challenging game.
I recommend this game!

I will keep this short and sweet. I purchased this game without even triying it and I was not disappointed. I believe this game plays a little quicker then the others so you will have to "hit the road running." If you love the others in this series, don't waste your time with the demo, just go ahead and purchase it. Like all the BOL games, this game is very addictive.
As a sideline, thanks to BF for offering it this week. Withall the specials on CE, I was ready for a change. I will say that BF is taking me to the bank this week.
Keep them coming!
I recommend this game!

I rarely play a game that I think is close to being awful, but this one fits the bill.
The basic storyline is that Betty has lost pieces of her hotpot recipe, that's the story. Now, you have to find them after working your way through a smorgasbord on hidden object scenes. The scenes are just that a pile on top of pile of objects. Some objects are very large -- usually not what you are looking for -- but most are just to difficult to see, hidden behind these large objects -- and these are the ones you are looking for. The scenes give the feel that someone just through items on a screne and took a picture of them. I really mean to say that there are tons of objects in each scene and most of them are just too difficut to see. You have a hint option and you will need it.
Visual quality -- I have mixed feelings. The characters are pictures of actual people. The dialogue is not great and you have to read it. The sound, not bad, but it could be better. Speaking of sound, when you use a hint, the sound plays an announing bit of music while the scene turns to black-and-white to show an object in the scene.
Not that you need it, but there is no tutorial and no other options like timed or relaxed.
You have some minin-games, they are not complicated, but do not add to the game play.
After playing a scene, you get "free play." I guess this means that you can go back and find all the rest of the junk in each scene. Why would you bother?
Bottonline -- this game is missing a lot. Not a fun game to play.
I don't recommend this game.

I don't know where I was when this game came out, but I love it. The storyline is pretty good and the hidden object scenes are graphically well done. I don't know what the standard addition offers, but this, CE offeres the following -- strategy guide, earn extra hints by finding extra fans, and golds coins throughout the game. The mini-games are interesting and not at all difficult. However, you have the option to skip in the casual. Speaking of modes, you have casual and advance modes. I only played 30 minutes and with this price -- $6.99 -- I'm off to purchase.
I recommend this game!
