At first, this game was a lot of fun. Your character hops from tile to tile (3D tiles) with the sole purpose of turning them all blue - that completes the level. However, there are bad guys that can't be killed so you have to avoid them as you are hopping around turning tiles blue.
Fortunately, the bad guys don't turn the tiles back to their original color when they hop on them. Unfortunately, the higher you level up, the more complex the pattern is and the more bad guys show up cornering you.
Fortunately, in between each level is a mini game that is impossible NOT to win/pass and when you do win/pass the mini game, you get an extra life - very valuable.
Unfortunately, when you lose all your lives, you have to start at the beginning of the game, not replay the level you died on. This is really bad because after you replay the game from the beginning so many times it becomes very, very boring. You can be at an extremely high level, lose your last life and back to square one again.
For that reason. this is not a buy for me. But, I do encourage everyone to try this innovative strategy game.
Happy Gaming!
I recommend this game!

So, for some reason (we don't know why), Rangy Lil's ex has kidnapped their daughters. Off she goes to track them (across the desert), find them and bring her girls home.
The graphics are horrible. The color is so sepia-toned and monochromatic and the items you have to find so teeny-tiny they are impossible to find. The background music can become annoying after a while too.
This is strictly a hidden object game. But, the tiems, as I mentioned above, are way too small to be able to see them. Therefore, I quite after 35 minutes because I was getting a headache due to eye strain. The mini games gave little real instruction and ranged from relatively easy to impossible.
Rangy Lil (what kind of name is that anyway? Rangy? Really?) talks like some kind of illiterate cowboy while those around her speak with some level of education. It makes her stand out - and not in a good way. Throughout the game, you get a glimpse of "the girls" who are "growing restless".
A big blooper was caught early on when Rangy Lil asked someone if they had seen her ex and the girls. He replied that he hadn't seen the girls but he did see her ex. But, "they" left a few hours before she got there.
For the above reasons, and many more, this is not a purchase for me. Nor can I recommend it in good conscience to anyone who values their eyesight.
I don't recommend this game.

I truly don't even know what to say about this game. That I gave it 3 stars was extremely generous.
The story line was disjointed and the conversations either made no sense or had little or no baring on the situation. The sound effects couldn't have been more annoying - had to turn the volume off.
Everything is a hidden object scene and the items are next to impossible to find because they are so small. And, you're not given a full list but 4 items at a time. So, you may need to click on that CANE but not until you find a ton of other items first. Silly.
The mini games bordered on tremendously easy to extremely difficult given there were no real instructions. Just, here it is, figure it out.
For all the reasons stated above, this is definitely not a buy for me. I, will, however, recommend it for those die-hard mystery fans. Maybe you can make more sense out of this game than I did during the free demo.

I was really surprised when I got my personal "wow" factor at the end of the demo. For me, when the demo ends and my reaction is "NO! NOT YET!" that means the game has me hooked.
In 1929, there was a devastating tragedy at Kotsmine Hills. Your team has been hired by the great-granddaughter of one of the victims who thinks some of the spirits may still be around. During the investigation, not only is the terrible snowfall that claimed many lives revealed, but many other possibly related tragedies such as a fire that started at a closed factory and burned most of the town to cinders.
This game is clearly hidden object game heavy. Meaning, you go to a location, say the mine or factory, and there are 4 rooms that you investigate (find the listed items) with nothing more than a flashlight. There are also mini games scattered throughout in the form of noise readings and spectral analysis to name a few.
The graphics are horrible and items can be extremely difficult to find. You have to earn hints by finding 3 ghostly faces, which become progressively harder to find as you level up. So, for each face you get a hint - but no more than 3 are allowed. The background music is suitably creepy.
I would purchase this game if not for the same reason I did not give this game 5 stars - I dislike any game, on principle, where I have to "earn" my hints and only have a certain amount. Also, use them or lose them.
I do, however, encourage anyone with an interest in the paranormal to give this free demo a try. Who knows what mystery you might uncover in Kotsmine?
Happy Gaming!

This game had soooooo much potential, it's a shame it fell flat on it's face.
You basically go to different areas of the zoo, indicated on a mp, and follow the instructions. For instance, in one area you have to find 12 monkeys - hiding behind other animals, behind or up trees and placed around a monochromatic area where finding them without hints is impossible. Another would be to take a picture of a list of animals. Again, the scene is very monochromatic in color and the animals impossible to find.
This is definitely NOT a child's game. I wouldn't even recommend it for adults. It's just impossible to find anything. And, you have to play, a ridiculous amount of times, the same matching game to get enough stars to take the zoo test to upgrade so you can go into other areas that are now locked. You get "cheat sheets" which give you information about certain animals but that's NOT what's on the test.
This game had so many flaws in it that it is definitely not a buy for me. I also cannot in good conscience recommend it to anyone who values their time.
I don't recommend this game.

Grandma was telling her grandchildren about the mysterious Wyatt who was a fortune seeker and adventurer. He found the treasure of Cherai and then befell with a curse. Before he died, he hid the treasure in his house so no one would ever find it. Of course, now one child after the other wakes up before the others to seek this house of treasure and curses.
The graphics are poor. Very dark and monochromatic. The sound is ok - no voiceovers or lip syncing. Everything is read and there is a LOT to read as the story unfolds through the tale of a butterfly and a magician.
The entire game is made up of hidden object games. The items can sometimes be difficult to find but my primary difficulty came playing the mini games. Some were not too bad after some thought was given. Others were just impossible for me.
What would eventually have been too confusing for me is after all the grandchildren and the grandmother have awoken and gone in search of the others. You end up searching as each of the 3 children and the grandmother. And, sometimes inventory items cross and so they have to go to "the meeting place" and exchange items.
While I enjoyed the free demo, I think the game would have become too confusing for me to act as 3 or 4 different characters. Therefore, it's not a buy for me. But, I do recommend that everyone try the game. It might be just the mystery you're looking for.
Happy Gaming!

I love a good relaxing game of Mahjong. This game goes above and beyond anything I've ever played before.
You don't just play regular Mahjong of matching the tiles. Watch the "title" page before each level because that tells you which game you will be playing. For instance, matching (regular), pairing like items (foot and shoe, watermelon slice and watermelon, fish and fish bowl) and some aren't so easy to figure out. Then there's solitaire where you have to match from King down to Two and Up again in pairs (2 Kings, etc.) and who knows what else.
This is the most amazing and challenging game of Mahjong I've ever come across and is definitely on my wish list.
I encourage everyone who loves Mahjong to try this free demo. But, be prepared, it's not the quick, easy, casual game you're used to.

I didn't expect to enjoy this game but with all the Christmas decor and cheer, I was HOOKED! i LOVE anything Christmasy.
The object of the game is to design a room with clues given by conversations "Dee" has with the client. You can also pick up a hint that will tell you EXACTLY what to put in the room. Make sure you add some Christmas decor so you fill up the holiday cheer meter. Then, you click "build" and set your team to designing the room. Great bonuses that help unlock more furniture and decor.
This is a game where you really can't fail. It's fun and the holiday atmosphere kept me uplifted the whole time i played the demo.
I encourage anyone and everyone to try this game. Even if you don't think you're much of a decorator, this game will turn you into one.

I really liked this game. I almost game it 3 stars, however, for the many issues the game does have.
First, the good things. I loved the mahjong part of the game. The tiles were bright and totally about the story. Next, although the beginning of the story seemed to go on forever, as it continued as you leveled up, you learned more than you probably ever knew and it didn't seem as long.
Now, the hidden object games - the items were tiny and impossible to find amidst the huge inventory of items they were ensconced in. I used the hint button often here. Next, the part where you have to find 5 of a certain item in a picture. The item was white in a picture that had a lot of white items in it. The narrator, speaking with a heavy British accent used phrases like "bed of roses" and "something or other blank". Phrases that made no sense whatsoever during that particular game play.
As I said, I loved the mahjong part and giving 4 stars was a stretch. This is not a buy for me because of the HOGs. Otherwise, even given the childish nature of the game, I would have purchased it. I do recommend everyone give this story book version of mahjong a try. It's extremely unique and fun.
Happy Gaming!

And the wonder is ..................... I wonder how to pass a level when you only have 4 minutes and are not that familiar with the tiles. Answer - you can't.
The King is off looking for his wife in the forest and has taken his 4 trusty friends with him. Each friend has a different talent (bonus to help you in the game). Unfortunately, you need to memorize what they do because you can't just run your cursor over each on and find out what he does.
Also, the timer is set at 4 minutes. I love mahjong but I love a relaxed game. This is a stressful game and not relaxing at all. There is no way to play on a "relaxed" mode.
I played several rounds, always on Level 1, and could never beat that stupid 4 minute timer.
This is definitely a no purchase for me. I like a nice stress-free, relaxing game that I can play at my own pace. THIS is NOT it.
I won't even recommend anyone waste their time on this game. Our hours are precious as there are too few in the day, don't waste yours playing this ridiculous game. There are WAY too many better ones on the BF site.
I don't recommend this game.
