After reading the other reviews, I didn't think I would like it, either. However, since it's by the same company that gave us all of the Farm Frenzy games, it's not that bad. The music is irritating, but that's solved by turning the music off. In one part, you have to hire a barista, but I fired him immediately because the little slacker wanted a raise as soon as he started, and I just couldn't see paying him for the little bit that he did. I've made it to Friday the 13th (for which there is an award!), but have just purchased the game so I can continue playing it. They ARE, however, the messiest bunch of customers I've seen! They just leave their garbage on the table! I could see where 20% of the customers leave the garbage, so that the player has to pick up that mess, but not everyone is that messy.
I recommend this game!

For the most part, I LOVE the Super Granny games. This one, however, has some challenges that are almost impossible to pass without looking on-line for some help to surmount it. Overall, however, I've enjoyed it.

Shannon Tweed's Attack of the Groupies
Help Shannon Tweed-Simmons end the groupie invasion, before they get their hands on her man!
I really wanted to like this game because I enjoy watching the exploits of the Tweed-Simmons family on television, but this has very little of Shannon's charm or Gene's "larger than life" personality. All we have is a poorly drawn version of "Plants vs Zombies". I'm really on the fence if I want to spend the money to get it, so I'll probably wait until it's the Deal of the Day.
I don't recommend this game.

This is almost like any other "build it" game, except that it's a campground. The music is annoying, the graphics are just too dark to differentiate some of the items, and then to get hit over the head with the tree-hugging aspect was more than I wanted to deal with. I lasted about 15 minutes into the demo.
I don't recommend this game.

This is just one of those games that caused a whole day to disappear, and then made me look at my family and tell them that they were on their own for dinner. Yeah, Bad Mommy Award.
In this game, you're starting with nothing, and are given these life goals to accomplish, and trophies to try and get (though, I did like the one for Shotgun Wedding). You have goals that you can pick, or they can be randomly picked for you. You can also earn Friend points by bailing someone out of jail.
This is a game that is hysterical from start to finish, and gets extra points from me because I can get a doberman from the pet store and a couple of stray cats...sort of like in real life. As in life, there really isn't a storyline -- you just create your own story as you go along.
I recommend this game!

Monument Builders: Titanic
Relive the great moments of the creation of the legendary Titanic and be a part of its incredible story!
For starters, I normally turn off the music on games because they're so irritating. This one stays true to its' Irish roots by playing music from that era, so I really liked it and actually increased the volume.
Other than constructing a different object, it's exactly the same as the first game, but it's fun to read the little factoids about how the Titanic came to be, and is appropriate since we're close to the 100th anniversary of the sinking. You're chopping down trees, building scaffolds, directing traffic, repaving roads, etc. It's just a pleasant game, and I knew I was going to buy it even before I played the demo.
I recommend this game!

You just have to save the people of Pastryport from those nasty Zombies! Fill them up with the embalming fluid, set their bones, give them accessories...and send them to their final (we hope) resting place. If they don't want to stay dead? Whack 'em on the head!!
Is this rocket science or brain challenging? Heck no! This is just, good ol' fun with the emphasis on being warped.
I recommend this game!

Spooky Mall
Run a Spooky Mall that is stocked with the goods that ghosts love in this ghoulishly fun Time Management game!
This is just like the other two Supermarket games, except now you're in a "Spooky" mall -- which isn't that spooky. You still get to nab the shoplifters #shame on those little old ladies!#, and deal with the messy customer. A couple of new customers I really like are the pirate lady #who gives you lots of coins when she's done shopping# and a superhero, who fills up your displays!
This is just a pleasant game to play when your brain doesn't feel like cooperating.
I recommend this game!

I'm a puzzle fanatic. I love crosswords, logic problems, etc., so when I saw this game, I thought it was going to be enjoyable. I realized off the bat that the games were designed for younger family members, and not for adults. The music is annoying and the puzzles far too simple. I'll pass on this one.
I don't recommend this game.

The Scruffs: Return of the Duke
Find the Lost Regalia that will help Grandpa Scruff prove that he is the true Duke of Scrufford in The Scruffs 2: Return of the Duke!
BFG has finally found a HOG that doesn't start with a dark, stormy night and a car crashing. We return to the Scruff family, and their quest to regain the Dukedom for their family. It's light-hearted fun that has been lacking in games for some time, and while a bit short (and, at times, a bit easy), is entertaining. The added bonus is the strategy guide that is usually only available with Collector Editions. You won't really need it, but IT is nice in case you get stumped.
