Loved, loved, loved this game, it is now my new favorite.
You are Constable Crane, detective sent to investigate murders in the town of Sleepy Hollow. Like someone stated earlier, this is so close to the Johnny Depp movie 'Sleepy Hollow' that it`s not funny. The characters even look like the ones in the movie, and plot is same, just which this game was longer.
It has 5 Chapters, each has a murdered person killed by the headless horseman, so because of that you may not want young children to play this game.
You of course will have back tracking, but each chapter will be confined to that chapter, and there is about 3-5 scenes in each chapter.
The hint system feels rapidly, and works in both HO scenes and out. No map, but don`t need one. Hint is very helpful and shows where to go and where it needs to be done.
HO scenes: sometimes have interactive items. Some of the HO scenes you will find the items both from a word list and from a picture list. After you find them you will then have to find one more special item which will go in your inventory list.
You will find special 'horseshoes' trophies which you can then buy 'special items' which does nothing for the game, but just adds time, and allows you to 'buy', such as a finger print kit, camera, uniform, etc. and you never use these.
Has a diary, but not useful, but good reading, tells history of the horseman.
Each murdered person wants you to find something for them and in return gives you something useful, which is used quite rapidly, so you won`t have a lot of stuff in your inventory.
Puzzles: some of the same and some different, I only skipped a couple, some puzzles I just don`t like to do, that`s just me.
I played in the easy mode, and game still longer than 5 hrs.
Normally, I won`t give good reviews if game doesn`t have a stragety guide with it, I can`t see paying more for the guide when a lot of games come with it, but this was ok.
I did download the guide as I had a problem in chapter 5 with the fireplace, but that was only time I needed it and could have kicked myself when I found out what I needed to do.
Other than the murdered people(which you never see them killed) a very entertaining game, again wish it was longer as I could have played all day and not be the least bit bored.
Thank you Fenemen games.
I need to see if they have any more Cursed Fates games.
Louis the Clown and Mr. Dudley are back in an all-new adventure! Travel through the dark corners of history's most famous fairytales to rescue children trapped in a frightening netherworld!
This is an excellent HOPA game. The premise is Louis the clown and Mr. Dudley(a cute if evil puppet) has kidnapped 7 children and you must rescue them.
It starts as a car wreck and goes from there.
All the children have been turned into dolls and they are based on fairy tales such as Cinderella, Red riding Hood, Hansel and Gretal, The Tinder box , Aladdin, and Peter Pan.
Each child has their own seperate chapters, there are some back tracks but you stay within that chapter until you turn the doll back to a human so even though you are backing and forwarding you don`t have very far to go, you just stay within that chapter. Each chapter has between 4 to 8 scenes so not a lot of going back and forth.
The chapters are pretty long, as there is a lot to do, hidden object scenes had a lot of items, but very well defined so not hard to find, not very cluttered or junky. Some even have interactive items, but easy to understand what needs to be done.
The hint button recharges quickly(maybe 60 seconds) and shows what needs to be done. I hate it when you are not sure what else needs to be done in a scene and it says"there is nothing to do here" as so where do I go then? that is not the case here as the hint will give you an arrow as to where to go or what to do, some might complain that that is hand-holding, but I don`t mind as it shows where to go so you are not back-tracking to an area you don`t need to go.
The puzzles are where I would give it just a 2star rating as I had to skip a lot of them, some were pretty hard and not sure what to do, but that is just me, and the skip button recharges fast, so even though they were hard it didn`t detract from the game excitement.
I loved the "little bear Hint balloon" when it gave you the hint it popped and you could hear him blow up the balloon.
I played the whole game and even with breaks, the game is very, very long over 5hrs plus.
The music was not very intrusive and sound effects was ok, the voice of Louis the clown was menancing enough, but not bad to scare kids. I loved Mr. Dudley, even though he was evil I thought he was cute.
All-in-all a very good game, I need to find the fist one and try that one and see if it is as good as this one.
This has become my number one game now.
I recommend this game!

Rolling Idols
Down with the talks about the Apocalypse! To break the Mayan prophecy and save the world all you need is to defeat Nibiru!
OK, this is for the demo only, haven`t played all the way thru. Good match 3(or more) game. I`ve played for 45 min. and still not sure what the game is all about.
You have to match these idols and you can play timed or relaxed mode, I played the timed. During the process you earn points to which you can buy power-ups, i.e. 'frogs' which leap over and help you match, or other power-ups which will move the entire line so you can make matches.
As you make matches, your energy bar fills up, but watch it as you will have to make matches with idols that are holding 'crystals' because your energy bar will be blocked unless you collect the crystals.
Some of the idols will be in cages, it took me awhile to figure out you don`t need to bring the 'key' to the cages you just need to match the idols that have the keys to release the idol from the cages.
You will also have idols tied up and all you have to do is match them, both of the caged and tied idols can not be moved you must have other idols near them to destroy them.
Music not intrusive, pretty good, I just turned it down, graphics ok, if a little cartoonish. Still not sure how to use the power-ups, but will play a little more and go from there.
All-in-all a fun game, not sure I would pay full price as there are a lot more match 3 games that are more interesting, but ok game for younger kids.
As for me I think I will wait until it becomes a DD.
Good board game, similar to Fairway solitaire, you play the cards higher or lower than the one down.
You can buy buildings or different power-ups, when you have enough money.
There are objectives you must get to move onto the next level, such as X-amt. of money, or some many cards to create a combo, or obtain so many" perfects", etc.
Haven`t played that much, but found water cards, cards that are blocked with wood, so instead of a hammer you must have tools to destroy the wood, they also have an octopus that you must use the card twice instead of just the once.
There is a diary which tells you what is going on, but to me not really involved in the game, I think it`s just so they can use minutes up, but cool to read.
I had to repeat one level near the beginning of the game as I didn`t get my objectives, but all-in-all not difficult at all.
Normally I listen to reviews and with that in mind I thought I would try this game out, glad I tried before I bought it. I love HO and adventure games, but within the space of 5 minutes I was bored. I`m not an expert on these games but couldn`t fathom what was so good abt this game.
The plot : WHAT? maybe if I played more I could see what the plot was, I don`t know.
It gave you assistance, if you wanted, which I did, and said to click on anything and everything as there was no penalty for clicking, but after a few minutes of that I got bored, what was so special abt. clicking on items that did nothing for the game, but to use up minutes to make game seem longer.
So I was bored, maybe you wouldn`t be, but as for me this gets deleted as soon as I`m done with this review.
I DON`T recommend this game, but again my choice, just think you ought to try before you buy.
Not thrilled, is a good title for this game, overall it could have been an excellent game, but the bad to me outweighed the good.
The game consists of several levels, each one has levels in it. You must earn points, clear the tiles in X-amount of time, make certain amount of moves, etc.
PROS: clear tiles, no blurriness You have a shuffle button and a button to let you see only the available tiles
CONS: 1st: I clicked on the tiles several times before I could get them to leave, that uses the time up. 2nd: used the "lion" button but still couldn`t see the clear tiles 3rd: they used Roman numerals for some of the tiles and was hard to find the match for them. 4th: where is the pause button, or the menu button, I clicked thru the different options and finally had to hit "Ctrl, Alt,&Del" to X out of the game, then had to hit "close window" just to get out of the game.
I only played the demo for several minutes, but as I stated the bad outweighed the good and was so disgusted I deleted the game.
Maybe good for others, but as for me I`m not buying this game even to get a free game.
Normally I don`t write reviews, only done a few, but I love to read them and then usually buy if good reviews. But just had to write one on this game.
Object: several contestants have gone missing on "The MAZE" game show and you have to find them. You are a detective hired by the family of the missing contestants.
This review is on the third chapter or so that I have completed, not sure how much more I need to go as I have rescued them all but ole Pumpkinhead kidnapped one who can identify him and I must again rescue her. I played in casual mode.
Pros: Not too much back tracking and you only back track in the chapter you are in, so that`s not too bad.
Interactive map:, that`s always good to have, it tells you that something needs to be done there and takes you there and also shows where you are.
Music: don`t normally listen to sound, but nice creepy music
Characters: no sound just written dialog, which is no biggie to me
Hint: recharges quickly, tells you what to do and where to go ( and with the map it gets quickly done) works also in HO scenes
HO scenes: not too many, really good hidden objects, lot of junk, did get a little eye strain trying to find them, but (as of yet) no penalty click for just clicking
CONS: HO scenes, not too many (I love HO scenes) but very junky, although since I so-far haven`t had a penalty click, I just click everything and sometimes get the item I`m looking for.
I`m not sure how long this game is, as I`ve stated before I`m on chapter 3 and have played off-n-on for several days, but so far it`s most definately longer than 3hrs.
I thouroughly enjoyed this game, and normally I delete them after I`ve played them but will probably keep this on and after awhile will play again.
Travel from the deepest trenches of the Atlantic Ocean to the awe-inspiring wonders of Mars as you solve the greatest archeological puzzle known to man: the origin of Atlantis.
OMG: this was a very enjoyable game. Scenario: You are an archelogist who is with your husband and a bunch of scientists exploring the lost city of Atlantis, you are looking for the amulet of the wife of Mars, you find it and then you drown. You are cryogeniced and sleep for 150 yrs. in which mankind is now colonizing Mars. You are awakened and requested to help the colonists on Mars, however when you awake they are nowhere to be found. You must find them and solve the mystery of what had transpired on Mars.
There are HO scenes, but not that many. In each HO scene you will have to interact with items to 1) find other items, 2)or build items, or 3) get items you will need along the route. There are several puzzles along the way, some easy some not. You will meet Marcy the cat about halfway thru, trust me you will need her. There are 18 digital recorders you need to collect. Hint button charges quickly in casual mode and even shows where you need to go or what to do.
Sound: only listened to the very end, as a lot of games sond is not that good, but this was ok, not distracting at all, maybe next time I will listen all the way thru.
Characters: very well drawn and nice voice-overs, you are not bad looking and your husband Michael is built.
Best part of the game is the Map, all you have to do is click on the map, it tells you if you need to do something in that area, or somewhere else and and then you just click on that area and it sends you to the area and you don`t have to walk all over the place.
I played in casual mode and even with the map it was an all day game, some of the puzzles were even hard in casual mode.
Trust me you will love this game, I`m going to try in hard mode and see how long it takes.
I recommend this game!

Banana Bugs
Banana-hungry bugs are ravaging the village food supply and you’re the only monkey brave enough to take them on in Banana Bugs!
This is a very fun/addictive game, It`s similar to Cosmic Bugs and Water Bugs, only difference is it`s Monkeys instead of aliens, but object is pretty much the same. You trap the monkey by building lines across the box and make sure the "bugs" don`t get you or you could "die". I`m glad this was on the DD, but would buy it even if I paid the full price.

The object of the game is to get the Kingdom of Cards back home and you do so by placing one on top of another in sequence, such as a King or a number 2 can be placed on an Ace, and so forth.
You collect "money" and go to the shop and buy items, some such as Potions can only be used once, in which case you will have to earn more money to buy more Potions, but others such as a sword and axe when you buy them are yours for the rest of the game. You will have tasks to perform on each level( which was pretty easy as I never had to repeat any level) such as obtain X-amount of cash, X-amount of stars, obtain X-amount of perfects or/and fill up the power bar. But as I said it was pretty easy and with the sword and axe, it was easy to obtain the" perfects".
The only downside that I could see, is if you buy something you can`t un-buy it, it`s yours.
I love these types of solitaire games, where you do have to use your brain, especially when making combinations of 5 or more in a sequence, but as stated above, fairly easy, similiar to Fairway Solitaire, but a lot easier.
Good game for relaxing and for children, not really much of a challenge.
