Wow! I own all of the Mystery Trackers games but I have to say that this one tops them all! Where do I begin? As always, the graphics are great to look at and the cutscenes really draw you into the adventure of the game. So many cool things going on like the frost meter that you can choose to have on or off but on is much more challenging. You'll freeze or run out of time during the game unless you pick up various items which warm you back up on the frost meter....something I've never seen before in a HO game. You collect morphing frogs and you get a video machine into which you put cassette tapes that the reporter was using which I've seen but better yet, it takes pictures when it's done playing the tape that you have to take and match up to some place in one of the scenes you've been in, how great is that?. There are invisible people that occasionally pop up so that's kind of scary. Some of the HO scenes are cool with rearranging the numbers to their correct places on the clock or replacing a kids drawing where the items are scrambled up...so cool. You can also earn the typical achievements. There's so much to do that there is no way you can get bored and no way you cannot buy the CE of this game.
It always turns me off right off the "bat" whenever I don't have a full screen game. Overall, this was just an ok game. You could earn some achievements and it was good to collect bats to buy upgrades for the castle along with collecting garlic cloves to change up the edges of your screen but to me, this was just an average game. Music background was good and fit the spooky storyline and it had a good interactive map. HOS was interactive but typical and it was nice to have the option of match three instead. To me, it's not worthy of a CE price, if nothing else because it wasn't full screen. Not a buy for me!
As always I enjoyed this sequel to the Dark Parables series even though I'm not a big fan of the fragmented HOS. Graphics are done beautifully as you can expect from Blue Tea game developers and sound is well suited to the game. The thing I enjoy most about Dark Parables is the mini games which are always cute and entertaining. Most times they are unique. I always like looking out for morphing objects. A little disappointed that it doesn't have the interactive map that takes you right to where you want to go but at least it lets you know where you are and where your objectives are. It seems that you don't have the ability to earn achievements but at least there is a good amount of things to do in this game to keep you interested and busy.
I was a little disappointed in this game although I did like how the HOS were varied between silhouettes, find x amount of one particular item and taking items already in the inventory bar and placing them in the scene. This makes HOS so much more interesting. The graphics were just ok to me and could have been better. The storyline was kind of interesting and collecting colored things to mix and paint was good to do. Mini games were fun and with a good variety also. It was good to collect birds and a few achievements but not excited enough about the game to buy it.
Where do I start? I thoroughly enjoyed this game! The cutscenes and graphics were amazing and there was so much to do that I was not bored for a minute. The voiceovers are done well and just everything to do with the mechanics of the game were great. The HOS started out to be the kind that you find an item to get another one, very interactive and then went to a typical find an object plus some interaction. You collect both squirrels and statues and earn achievements. The mini games were fun and I love it whenever they include a mini game within the HOS....extra fun! I have nothing critical to say about this game. Well done developers and keep cranking 'em out!
The graphics were so outstanding in this game that I caught myself just gazing at the scenes to appreciate such details and color. Everything seemed to be well developed. I liked having the option of HO or puzzle. Mini games were pretty easy but ok. A lot to do with picking up different animals for the zoo and then picking up crystals to animate the animals. You get coins also to buy upgrades and you earn some simple achievements. All to make it more CE worthy!
I enjoyed this game! It was a good adventure full of things to do and look out for. Always good to have the option of playing bubble shooter or finding hidden objects. You receive binoculars to get a closer look at certain things. You also receive an amulet to open something with symbols on it and you collect rune symbols along the way. Mini games were ok to play. Voice overs and background music are very well done and I loved the added feature of the "drum" sound effect as you scrolled through your inventory....very cute! Overall, a very well developed game!
I really enjoyed this game mainly because you get to collect so many things. Unlike most games, this time you collect things for several different categories like masks, chess pieces, fruits, art things and so on. The HOS were kind of dull though with not much interaction but I think between adventure and collecting things, it's ok. You also can earn many achievements and I do like how you can get up to 3 stars for how well you do the HOS. You get a ghost catcher that alerts you that there is a ghost in each scene to catch. Not too crazy about how the graphics looked and cutscenes weren't all that well done but again, some of the things you get to do make up for it. Will definitely be on my list to buy.
A very well developed game with beautiful graphics and good background music along with good sound effects. It's great when you have a choice between the HOP and bubble shooter to kind of break things up a little. You collect dog bones and earn achievements. Not one of the most exciting games I've played but enjoyable.
It's never a good sign to me when I start a game that isn't full screen. I want my touchscreen monitor to be completely filled with the graphics of any game I play so this was definitely not a good start. Maybe it's just me but in the first few minutes that I played (which that's about all I could stand) it just seemed old fashioned to me. I'm so spoiled to the wonderfully developed HO/adventure games that are out now so it's pretty hard to play any game of less caliber than what we've gotten used to nowadays. Don't have anything good to really say about this one except that the title sure was misleading and the game quite a let down.
