I have just finished the bonus game. I have to say I really enjoyed this. Just difficult enough to make me happy without tearing my hair out. But the best thing was the new alternative to HOG scenes. I loved the triangle puzzle. I'm tired of Match-3 and the developer that uses jigsaw puzzles needs to improve since they are always the same. But this alternative was loads of fun and sometimes tricky. Funny how games can be so different - not only because we as people are different, but our PCs are different. I found the colors bright and the graphics sharp and clear. And the hint always worked. And believe me, I do use the hint since I play to relax.
I recommend this game!

As others have said, it took me back in time - I kept expecting Sonic to appear. However, I was quite happy to leave that time behind, so this game is not for me.
Visually it all looks the same - very boring. Yes, Ruby is cute, but seeing her shake off falling through the floor once was enough for me. I lasted about 10 minutes.
But try it for yourself - many fishies seem very happy with it.

If you like Match 3 or Tetris, give this game a try. It is busy and frantic. No time to plan. Tiles come from top, bottom and sides. Not a relaxing game.
I managed to finish 19 boards on the Easy Peasy level before losing one. I think it will become very difficult in later levels.
One major issue is I could not find anywhere to put a player's name. Seems like only one person can play at a time. While I loved what I played, I think it might get to difficult and frustrate me.
Don't let this one slip by you without at least trying it. I am impressed by how different it is.

I enjoyed this, but gave it 4 stars because not ALL levels could be solved by logic. Levels 81, 91, 103, 115 and 116 required a guess or hint. The story line seemed pretty useless. While I would have enjoyed it as a novel or short story, it seemed silly here. I turned off the music. However, game play was smooth and colors bright. I did like the tile choices. In some the blues were too close. There seem to be more of these games coming out. Three new ones in the last week or so. Keep them coming.
I think I have all the other Grim Tales but I might not buy another unless it is an SE with a coupon. Richard needs to go back to his grave. We carried his skull around but never used it. His character seemed washed out and spoke so s-l-o-w-l-y it drove me crazy. As mentioned by other reviewers, this game consisted of running around and finding amulets so we could open something only to find yet another amulet is needed. Poor HOG scenes and mostly silly puzzles. Anna needs to retire and let her family take care of themselves for a change.
Not for me. I've never like those role playing games where you run around and complete quests. This was way to much like and and confusing to boot. I might have enjoyed the actual game parts, but there just wasn't enough of it.
I found it a wonderful game. It did not have the flash of some of CE games, but the story and characters were top rate. The mouse action was a little strange, but one got used to it. And I loved having no instructions for the puzzles. HOS were not difficult (which is OK with me) but quite interactive. If the lip sync had been better it would have been top notch. But the voices were so good I could overlook this. The last CE I played took me days - I'd play for 15 minutes and quit. I bought this game this morning. It is now 1:20 AM and I'm done. I will watch for these devs and buy more of their games.

It was a very pretty game but there was WAY too much talking and singing. I only lasted 3 levels. I agree with the reviewer that said the gold squares were hard to see. Groups of gold squares stood out, but the individual ones were difficult. Playing a timed game would be nearly impossible. Lip syncing was terrible. If it going to be bad, I'd rather not have it at all. Voices were OK, but Aurora was insipid and too good to be true. And if her singing lightened dark souls, why did it not help the young man? Not for me - but try it yourself.

I usually really enjoy this series - but this one was just terrible. Even Elf was not well programmed. But what drove me absolutely crazy were the 'helpful' suggestions involving items you had not found yet. If you find a locked box and are told 'You need a key' thats fine - but you should NOT be told ' I can use that key I found' when you have not only never seen a key, but have not been in the scene where you will find it. Even worse - and this is not an exact example - if you are at a cliff you should not be told - I will have to tie a rope to that hook - when you have neither the rope or the hook and have even seen them. This completely spoiled the game for me.

I own all the other World Mosaics but I will never buy another. I was so bored and unhappy I deleted the game before I finished level 3.
I can live with only one color, although I found it odd that when the puzzle was completed it morphed into more than 1 color, but not deleting the unused spaces after a line is completed is completed? No.
