This game is one of the freshest, most creative games to come along in a long time. It is beyond worth the price of a CE, and I'm relishing every moment. To be frank, lately I've found my interest beginning to wane, and I just don't spend very much time playing games anymore. I've gone back to books, TV, gardening, etc, but I just can't stop playing this game! Thank you to the developers and Big Fish for offering something as special as this!

So many great things have been said here about this game, there's really nothing to add except please try it. You'll like it, and it is definitely worth the CE price.

So far this game ts proving to be a captivating mixture of steam punk mechanics(the airship you find yourself on) coupled with delightful music and great puzzles.. I really want to pursue the story, play more intriguing puzzles, and just explore the ship and see where it's taking me,
Usually I turn the music off but I'm really enjoying what I have heard so far. I made the decision to buy after only playing about 15 minutes of the trial but I don't think I'm going to be disappointed, The graphics are great, there are three game modes, and I finally get to use a game credit!

I seem to be running with the flow here, so I'll keep it simple. Buy it! Developers who put this much thought and effort into a game should be rewarded with our praise and dollars. An instant buy for me, Thank you for such a beautiful game!

This game is so addictive! And what a pleasure it is that they stayed true to the time and place of the book they based this game on. Refreshing is one word I would use, as well as inventive. The style of the game is truly an interactive novel, as much as any game I have played.

My review is based on the CE of this game, so you need to adjust for that. This is a delightful game! And even without the strategy guide and the bonus content (which is worth the price) you will get a game with a lot of content and one that can take several hours of fun to complete if you stop to smell the roses. Enjoy!

Have played most of the trial and this appears to be an adventure game with puzzle that are easy to solve and, so far, no HOS. The graphics are pure ERS quality, very good but not outstanding. The story setting is urban, involving a reality TV show in which a contestant really dies. That is the opening scene. The "bad guy" appears to be a crazed clown of some sort, and we play the part of a police detective. There's a fuzzy thing going on there, something about being a police officer working alone without a lot of powers. Doesn't "feel" right. I don't think I'll buy this as a CE but wait for the SE.
Too many outstanding CE games out there right now to waste my money on a game I not thrilled with.
But you should give it a try. Some people might really like this game.

Another fantastic game right on the heels of The Nutcracker! Everything about this game is delightful, from the HOS which are different in a pleasing way to the graphics which are fantastic.
I was seriously considering taking a break from Big Fish because so many of the games were becoming boring and I don't have the finances to waste my money on games that are just so-so.
So spending my money on this game means something. I think it's worth the price.

Starts with the usual car crash caused by a spooky kid in the car with you, but the great radio music playing while you're driving and reading a map at the same time makes it just different enough. No wide screen on my laptop, but that's not an issue for me. Since this is a SE and not a CE there's no strategy guide, but the game doesn't need one. You do have a journal and lots of hints, with two levels of play.
Adventure/IHOS hybrid, with clear graphics and a good mixture of puzzles and IHOS scenes. Maybe too many IHOS for some? Different tastes for different players!
That great little jack-in-the-box imp is back, and the hint button is the teddy bear left by the little girl in the car blowing up a balloon for your next hint. Great touch!
This is a great buy! I haven't decided on using a credit or taking advantage of the 30% off sale yet, but will buy.

Being a Science Fiction nut is not always a good thing, but it's definitely fun! I like murder mysteries too, so putting it all together with a good casual game is a perfect blend for me.
So far the demo is showing this game to have all the necessary bells and whistles, i.e. voice overs, three levels of play, a strategy guide that stays where you left it, lots of cool, creepy sound effects and shocking scenes of the dear dead souls, oops, I mean the soul less dears. You'll have to try it to see what I mean!
This game would make a great midnight movie with popcorn.
And then there's that Big Fish key chain. I have to have it!
