Old school graphics, a few HOPS, great story, lots of different puzzles - even in the HOPS, no morphing objects, no collectibles, transporting map. All in all, worth a purchase on a good sale. Give it a try and see what you think.

It might have been a good game, but the workers walk so slowly, that you can barely do anything before the demo is over. My suggestion, once you can upgrade and get more workers, just collect food to max out your work force so that the game moves along faster before you try to tackle it. Not sure if this game is worth the hour of your life you're going to lose just testing the demo - sorry.

Typically, when I see a low review of 1 or 2 stars, I feel obligated to play the game and see if it was a fair assessment. In this case, the first review was spot on. A lack-luster story with the very basic of features. Cute idea that never takes off. If you've never played an adventure story before, then this would be a good teether. For the experienced player, I think I would pass unless I just had 30 minutes to blow. Sorry - no buy.

Again a 1st review that was unfair in my opinion - I get if you comment that you could not play, but to trash the whole game is not fair to the developers. First of all, this game is not for newbies - slightly challenging for that. Storyline is not totally novel, but interesting with very little dialog. Colors are very grey and brown. There are skulls and morphing objects to find on each scene and probably an equal number of puzzles vs. HOP. Warning, these items will not be visible on small devices in my opinion as they are very small. The hidden object puzzles have morphing objects, but leaning more toward HOP. There are collectibles and a HOP gallery in the extras along with the typical music and wallpaper. Bonus game as well. If this review sounds intriguing - give it a try - demos are free after all. :-)

I hate it when this happens, an over the top review of 5 starts that fails to mention the obvious flaws. It makes me want to give it one star only to balance things out! I did not play the entire game, but only the demo, so I can only comment on that. Let's start with the good news, for adventure players, the story is newish and it has an adventure feel. For HOP players - hidden object puzzles are occasional and some are puzzle/hidden (if you know what I mean). There are language errors, but not catastrophic ones - actually they can be quite amusing. The characters are "paper cut-outs" with voice over that displays text in a box - no moving lips. The puzzles are not horribly challenging, but enjoyable. I might purchase the game with a coupon - I recommend you play before you buy. Music seems appropriate. I'll leave the rest of the details to the others, these are the nuts and bolts.
This game was well written when I played it many years ago on Big Fish Games. I thought they always say they have a NEW game every day. Hmmm... That being said, play the demo. Someone bent over backwards to be creative and futuristic. I loved the game back then, and still enjoyed it today.

What have we been saying?
We want someone to think of a new story, change up the HOPs and make them fun and interactive, stop doing the same old puzzles and think up new ones. It pretty much checks off all my boxes.

This plays like an old school game with very tedious maneuvering within the game. You ultimately do find a "jump" map - lots of repeating previous scenes. If vision is a problem, although you can zoom in, I'd avoid playing this one. The puzzles, which exceed the HOGs range from simple to diabolical. The storyline is very intriguing. Knowing what I just told you, whether you try it or not is up to you.

Has a RELAXED setting
That being said, now some of you (like me) will keep reading. I remember playing this game as a collector's edition? just a few months ago, and I had several issues with locking up, timer still being on in relaxed mode, etc. As far as I can tell, the game plays beautifully now.
If you have played other Moai games, it's very much the same. Get wood, get stone, upgrade, negotiate with bandits, etc. Game is upbeat and graphics are nice.
Game settings for Music, Sound, Full Screen, Game Cursor and Mode. Looks to be an average length game for this genre.

Don't play if you have an issue with spiders or have small children. Many disturbing images.
Lots of travel - more puzzles than hidden objects, but interestingly - not a lot of puzzles. More finding objects that need to be used in other places. Game works better without all the fancy graphics, I had to start it over to reduce the imaging, and I have some pretty good stats on my machine. Map allows you to jump, some morphing and collectibles, but not many. Each scene has about 3-4 active areas. I don't know, I'd play the demo before you buy. You might like - just not for me.
