if you love to struggle time and again through a slow, boring, uninteresting, lackluster game, then this is the game for you! Normally I Iove high/low solitaire, but this one has no zip to it. I felt like I needed to hit the mouse harder to help it along. The scenery had no depth to it, just looked flat. There was absolutely nothing stimulating about this game. I am amazed at all the rave reviews...I just don't get it. I do NOT recommend this game.
what's the point of a game where the computer generated players almost always win? i played the demo for the whole hour and i think i might have won 3 games! and was in debt to boot! i felt just like i did when playing bingo at the VFW hall...seldom won then either.
another problem with this game is the font used for the numbers on the card. i felt like i had astigmatism. very blurry and often hard to see when over the bonuses. why not just have them filled in solid instead of an outline?
i don't mind losing part of the time, but this game is ridiculous!
not a game for me. maybe later in the levels it would get more challenging, or at the least less boring, but i could only playthrough the 7th level of the 'shallows' before i couldn't take it anymore. sorry, but i can not recommend this game.
could not play but a short time before uninstalling this game. i probably would have finished the demo if there wasn't a delay in playing while the 'cake pieces' left the screen. didn't play with sound so can't comment on sound quality. this game is just sad.
as with all the Rescue games, one click just does not do it. it is necessary to click on an object multiple times before it is accepted. considering this is a 'time management' game, this needs to be fixed. i never pay attention to the storyline, so i won't remark on that. i also play with the sound off. visual quality is quite good when playing in full screen.
if the first two rates are bad, the rest is immaterial...

well that was a waste of time! i've still got 56 minutes on the demo and that was twice as long as it took me to know this game isn't worth the time. i agree that the cards are entirely too small and the overall graphics are way too busy and small to clearly understand what you're seeing. starting with the players' name, once typed in the name was almost unrecognizable... the swirls and flourishes, although pretty enough, should be toned down if they are to be legible. the graphics are indistinct and too muted. the gameplay is too slow and boring. i usually enjoy high/low solitaire, but i have to pass on this one.
Sloppy mouse movement, too many Pelicans and Dolphins!

this would have been a great game but for the huge amount of difficulties. first, there doesn't seem to be any way to 'back' out of an area if it isn't the one you want. you have to play through all the area unless you want to lose on purpose to get the option to quit. i don't see any 'exit' button anywhere but the main map. the amount of Pelicans, Dolphins, and Eels is ridiculous on too many levels. there needs to be a 'mouse sensitivity' bar so you can tighten up the mouse. as it is, the mouse movement is sooo sloppy that you don't really have much control. this, to me, is a huge problem. had i any idea how frustrating this game would be, i would never have wasted my time on it!
i don't understand the rave reviews about the graphics. i thought they were generic, almost grade-schoolish. i didn't see the fun in clicking a spot, having a servant build a building or get rid of a snake...and nothing more. ok, so you can upgrade and you have to water...big whoop. where's the fun? where's the anticipation, where's the challenge??? i wish i had passed on this one, Time Builders Pyramid Rising is a much better series.
i bought this game years ago nd thought i'd give it another try. i'd been better off if i could have somehow marked just how bad it was so i wouldn't go through the frustration of trying to play it again! the graphics are unbelievably bad. most of the time i have to use the hint button and am still unable to see the item after it's been highlighted by the hint. all i have been doing is using the hint, clicking on or around the red spot, waiting for the hint to recharge and doing it all over again. what fun is that? and what's with not having a skip button? so far i've had to resort to the walkthrough for most of the games. and the walkthrough is terrible! i am now stuck on the danged suitcase puzzle with no way to continue. after multiple times of using the forum and the walkthrough, nothing works! i HATE this game!!! i do NOT recommend it in the strongest way possible! save your credit and get a game that is playable as well as enjoyable.
what is the point of making a game that you can't progress in without hitting a certain number? usually i love playing mahjong, but the criteria for continuing the game is just too hard for me to achieve. i have not been able to get more than 55 stars and 65 are needed to go on. this is ridiculous! who cares about stars???why is that even in the game??? i just want to go on with the different levels as i am over the top tired of the ones i have been able to do! i should also say that the game was quite boring. the only thing it had going for it was the possibility that it would get better...it didn't.
