Fun Game...but in my opinion, this type of adventure game needs to be played in one sitting. Luckily, it has a good hint system, but the hint takes you all the way to your next chore.
I recommend this game!

Just your basic HOPA...nothing special!!! Compared to other games I've played, this one doesn't cut it! The storyline had promise and I was intrigued in the beginning, but by the end I was left scratching my head thinking "how did this game get so many 5's?!?" I feel I'm being VERY generous giving a 3!!!
I recommend this game!

This game was quite easy (which is normally a turn off), but had so many exceptional points. Great storyline, fitting music, good puzzles, quaint characters... just a fun diversion from all the scary demonic stuff we usually see! Please more like this!!

I'm not typically a Match 3 player, but this was fun! To complete the challenge takes much longer than your typical HOPA game. Easy play but time consuming to complete. I wouldn't want to play it every day, but it definitely added a different genre to my normal routine.
I recommend this game!

This game is exactly what I look for in a HOPA! It's got all the regular stuff AND MORE!
The regular:
HO's, Puzzles, Adventure, good storyline, excellent music, and excellent quality voice overs...
The "MORE":
40 spooky faces hidden in each location and 32 available achievements!
My only complaint... I WISH I BOUGHT THE CE!!!

Loved this game...played both the casual and expert mode!
Great puzzles, good HO's, and the adventure was pretty comprehensive...my only complaint is the point-and-click doesn't always work. I love games w/ achievements offered, but if you can't pick something up when you're pointing right at the object, it's impossible to win the achievements! Oh well!!

There are NO hidden object games in this game, but there are GREAT puzzles (I'll take a challenging puzzle any day over a HO game). The music track is repetitive and does not add to the "ghostly theme" of this game, but you can mute the music. Some of the rooms were dusty and unclear, but for the most part I didn't get lost. I played the game through on casual play and thoroughly enjoyed this ERS game. A definite winner for me.
I recommend this game!

I bought this game even after I played the demo...BIG MISTAKE! I played to the end, and all I wanted was for it to be OVER! I had a number of issues w/ the game:
1) VERY glitchy
2) one puzzle wasn't playable (arrow button didn't work so you couldn't spin tiles)
3) no walkthrough or strategy guide
4) grainy, dusty quality
5) sometimes the hint button didn't give you enough info to progress, so you end up clicking on everything for 5 min.
There are too many Great games...no, there are too many good games available to waste your money on games like this! BIG FISH blew it this time!!!

Ugh!!! I hate games like this! I bought before I tried it ... big mistake (always use the free trial...one persons "GREAT", could be another persons "Failure").
I did enjoy City of Fog, so I thought this would be a win. The basic premise of the story has great potential, but the storyline throughout was sub-par, and the ending was awful!!! I am just glad I'm done so I can pack it away and NEVER visit there again! By the way, don't forget to wear a good pair of sneakers!
