Fun Game...with a few problems: 1) Only 1 level of difficulty 2) Some items are needed to be picked up, but it doesn't show as a special item (i.e. sparkle or eye icon), you just have to click around (and sometimes you have no idea what you're looking for) 3) Pretty simple (basic) puzzles and HOG's 4) Hint system just circles the area in the room that needs work...even if you haven't found the item to fix it yet!
Worth a DD or free credit game, but I'm glad I didn't pay full price! I give it about a B-/C+.

It was so nice and relaxing to play such a delightful game! There was nothing jumping out at me, and I didn't have to strain my brain at all. Only a few hours long, but certainly worth the DD price!
Prepare for a mind-bending journey into the realm of the weird in Haunted Halls: Revenge of Dr. Blackmore! Brace yourself for the unexpected in this exciting Hidden Object adventure!
Wow...I really enjoyed this game! The beginning reminds me of a Disneyland ride...but spooky! The puzzles are fun and new, the characters are intriguing, the story line is interesting...even the HOG's are unique (and that's hard to do)! I think this is a BIG hit...a MUST buy for HOPA lovers!
A good game...but certainly not great! Some of the puzzles were real easy, with a couple that were more challenging. Just your standard HOPA. On the other hand, I always like it when a "High Scores" component is included in the game so I can try for a personal best.
This game has: 1) a great storyline 2) good music (turn down because at times it's a bit loud) 3) not too many HOG's 4) fun puzzles 5) adventure (play in one sitting to remember locations) I will definitely play again!
When I played the trial 60 min. I thought this was going to be really scary and a GREAT game! But after I bought the game, it's pretty much the same ol' thing...running from room to room, everything in the asylum is gray and ugly, really bad junkpile HOG's, annoying music that you have to turn off... Maybe it's just me, but this was not what I was looking forward to!
Loved this game...The story was great, and I really liked how the CE bonus story added to the storyline (but it was REALLY short)! Loved the puzzles, not too many HOG's. There is a lot of back of forth movement, but I didn't get confused. 2 thumbs up to the developer...keep 'em comin'!
I love these types of HOPA's that have replay value!!! It's mostly HOG, some puzzles (some easy, some hard), good story, and I even leave the music on the whole game! But the best part of this game for me is trying to get ALL the trophies (which I have yet to complete). Maybe I'm just overly competitive, but I love going back and beating my score. Don't forget to pick up clovers, shoot bandits, and find the "lost items". LOVE this game!!!!!!!!
This game, like Gemsweeper, World Riddles, and World Mosaics, is a great diversion from the normal HOPA! I love these "pic-a-pix" type games, and in my opinion, Arizona Rose and the Pirates Riddles is the best of this type of game offered by Big Fish!
