This game is definitely NOT worthy of 5 stars - it's a joke. There'll be heaps of 'thumbs down' with my review but i cannot and won't give praise where very little is due. Graphics are brightly coloured with HOG scene items easily seen, and puzzles are sooooo easy, it's hard to call them puzzles while keeping a straight face. Lots of back-tracking with quite a few items bieng 'found' only to use those items immediately meaning there isn't any real 'thinking' to be done. Sound quality i can't vouch for as this was played with the sound off, sorry. Fun factor was non-existent with 'level of challenge' pathetic. This is likely to be a good game for 'novices' or for those not wanting a mystery to focus on. This past year or two, gamers have seen quite a few really good series destroyed/decimated by developers, Dark Parables was an excellent series as was Mystery Trackers and House of 1000 Doors to name but three; unfortunately this series has followed suit.

This is a gem of a game! The storyline was so different to the usual 'saving the world, brother, sister, mother, lover, etc', and although the story could've been a little more intriguing in places, it did work. I don’t give the story away in reviews simply because I feel it can spoil a gamers experience, finding out the who, where, why, when, and what happens next, is part of the fun of playing a game so I won't say, lol. Its great to see a map that allows the gamer to 'jump' from location to location; by just hovering over a blue circle for each accessible area on the map it saves the back and forth trekking which I loathe. The game-play is fluid, graphics may not be 'high tech' or to everyone's liking but they are still very good and it isn't just graphics that makes for a good game, it’s a combination of many well-presented factors coming together. I found this game to be a worthwhile purchase, in fact I was hooked playing the demo and just 'had' to have it..

I love logic games! And this new 'twist' of using 3 colours to complete a grid is a great idea adding to the fun. However, the game isn't quite as good as it could or should be. There's some guesswork involved especially in 'Endless Mode' which detracts from it being a logic game; all logic games work on the premise of eliminating what must be ignored to leave one correct solution, and this isn't the case with some grids in this game. Another gripe I have is that some grids are sooooo easy that they should not have been included, but that's just my feeling. SO to the developers of Fantasy Mosaics I say 'get rid of these glitches because its sloppy developing, and let the next Mosaics game you present be worthy of 5 stars'.

After having played the Rite of Passage: Hide and Seek demo, the gameplay and unusual storyline had me hooked; CE version was purchased with no regrets. This developer seems to have taken that extra little time to produce a game quite a few gamers are likely to thoroughly enjoy. Careful thought went into this game and it shows; their efforts have produced a lovely well-presented game worthy of playing with the fun factor intact. If you prefer dark storylines or difficult puzzles, this may well not be to your liking. Personally, although I found the puzzles incredibly easy, I still found it a joy to play. Graphics were bright and sharp with some lovely HOG scenes some of which were pleasantly different to the norm; the storyline carried itself effortlessly through some very beautiful scenes right to the end, and without any of the endless back and forth "trekking" some games have. The CE version offers achievements, soundtracks, and quite a few other things including an added bonus game plus an "extra" play, collect all 43 hand-prints throughout the game opens up the alchemists table, this in turn takes you back through scenes to collect 43 "alchemist items" to make a potion to give to the dog, all good fun as this opens up yet another added bonus, a little arcade game. All in all, I personally found this game very enjoyable.

Based on the demo, relief washed over me when I reached the end. We all love different games and I'm sure some will mark against my review simply because I cannot agree this is worthy of a positive one. Personally, what began as a good concept and series has over time, been slowly diluted by developers; could it be developers now seek to produce several "run-of-the-mill" games in quick succession rather than to produce a few really in depth excellent ones within the same time frame I wonder? Shadow Wolf Mysteries, Under the Crimson Moon is the latest in the series. Unfortunately, this game is very linear with plenty of hand-holding throughout, so if you prefer to tackle adventure games without being almost walked through, you probably won’t find this game to your liking. When compared to earlier ones in the series, the storyline is a bit weak but as I feel going into detail and telling the story spoils a gamers adventure and experience, I won’t. As expected the graphics were in the main bright n crisp, plus there are plenty of wolves for canine lovers, lol. I found the HOS horrid, plus the clue examiner and chemical analyzer both unnecessary annoyances, tbh I hated them! I found myself bored while gritting my teeth to finish; the game felt very drawn out to the point I was genuinely relieved when the end of the demo popped up. Compared to games such as Ravenhearst or Dire Grove, this game is sadly lacking but as I said earlier, we all like different games.

I'm at a loss why this game has such high reviews! This review is based on having played the full game plus the bonus chapter. Almost from the start the boredom and flagging set in; the storyline is very thin, with both the level of fun and challenge being non-existent. Because the graphics are childlike in the extreme with incredibly easy puzzles, squirrels to find plus a few other achievements to gain, this seems more suited to an older child. In a nutshell - Watching paint dry is more thrilling than playing this game.
