This is a really fun game although not as good as Virtual Detective. I am actually going to go back and play it again it was that good.. A little bit of a dark parable imo but still really fun.
YOu should enjoy this game a lot. As always try the demo first.
Artifacts are mysteriously disappearing from the museum exhibit. Thread your way through a maze of deceit in this epic Greek Drama!

For me this was a bad game. The Nancy Drew games have so much potential but the movement is so slow and choppy. If they would try to develop this game more like a HOG it would be better. It feels like I'm playing a really old game and it is so slow moving.
I didn't care for this game and I do not recommend it but if you are curious try the demo first please. Do not buy this before trying. Good luck you'll need it.

Well I see my friend Pennmom36 has already beat me to the review lol. I highly recommend reading her reviews as she plays as many games as I do and she is an excellent fair reviewer.
IMO this game is outstanding...a winner.
The graphics aren't stunning but this game just had a different feel than other HOGS. I felt like I was playing something unique and special.

Its got a little spooky edge, a little mystery and a huge fun factor. Bottom line is I'm a key contributor to Big Fish reviews because I play and review a LOT of games. Its hard to excite me with HOGs because so many are just cut and paste of other games but this one was just plain fun.
Enjoy yourself and play the demo, why not? This one is worth the buy.

I am writing this in 2017 so keep that in mind. This game has good graphics for when it was released and the game play is pretty smooth and straight forward.
I don't like the hint system but it works and doesn't detract too much from the game itself. Anyway its a fun game and its worth a buy so if you are looking for a game to use your free game punches on this is it.
As always try the demo first what do you have to lose? And you should like the entire series

I see Pennmom36 who is a top contributor like me gave this game a 3. I don't think thats so bad myself. A 3 is still a buyable game.
That said I think my friend pennmom36 really summed up all you need to know and her review alone is all you really need. I don't agree with those who straight up bashed the game.
Look the graphics are not very good but that doesn't take away from the game play for me, I enjoyed the game.
So I'll keep this short, try the demo and be open minded. I have played the other games in the series and this was my favorite of them all.
I thought the HOP's were on par with most games out there and the game play was pretty smooth. I was actually surprised I liked this game I def tried the demo first because I haven't liked any of the other games in this series at all.
I recommend this game.

Let's get right to it. This game is designed to be light hearted and fun and it nails both. The story line is unique and fun. The play is great and smooth flowing.
I highly recommend this game if you want a little different pace and different type of HOG. You'll find yourself smiling at times because the game is really fun and funny at times.
Yes there are dragons and medieval kings like other games but this game puts a different spin on those so it doesn't feel redundant.
A great buy but as always try the demo first and I bet you end up buying the full version, its that fun so enjoy.

First off if you like the series then this is a no brainer. If you are not at all familiar with the series I would recommend you go back and play the Swan Princess in the Dark Parables series first.
I thought this game got some unfair reviews. This is one installment in a true series. So you will get a lot of what feels like cut and paste from earlier games in the series. It's not as original from game to game as the Maze series but thats what a lot of people specifically like about it.
I thought the puzzles were challenging and the game play was smooth. I wouldn't let the bad reviews steer you away because compared to a lot of other HOG's this one is really really good. Listen try the demo, what do you have to lose? Then judge for yourself. TO me its worth the buy...enjoy.

Wow for an older game this is a really nice game. Great story line (believable) and the game flow is really, really great. There is a custom setting for the difficulty, which I love. I hate games that don't have a custom difficulty setting. I want to choose how long it takes the skip and hint to recharge.
There aren't so many areas open that you can't remember where you saw things you need later. I would always advise playing the demo first but I bet you buy this one, its well worth the purchase price.
I gave the fun factor a five, and it isn't a slow moving game, the storyline and game play draw you in from the opening scene and gets more intriguing as you go along.
I recommend this game to both beginners and long timers alike. Its a good starter game for newbies. Hey buy the game and just enjoy yourself, I did.

This 4 star game has a fun plot and if you've played any of the series and liked it then you'll like this a lot too.
The challenge level is a 5, not too tough but not easy either. The hint button/system works great and very helpful.
The hops are fun and straightforward, not crazy like some games. As always I recommend you try before you buy. I assume most people that like the series of even if this is your first one, you will probably buy it like I did.
The graphics are a little grainy and the voice overs are just ok but the story line itself is pretty darn good. Enjoy.

The fairest way I know to review a game is to compare it to the other new games. That said, this 4 star game has as good of graphics as most of the upper echelon games on big fish.
The story line to me was too cliche and has been played out too often with other games. In other words its not very original.
How many games do you need to find a glove to protect your hands from thorns? Well at least I'm not a detective, that's refreshing.

That being said, the fun factor is a 5. The challenge is a 5 as its not too tough and not to easy. I would recommend you try the demo. I'd still buy the full edition and I did because its still a fun game.
