It seems this game is a love it or hate it. Well I loved it. I did the demo a few months back and couldn't wait for it to come out. I like the graphics, but understand they aren't to everyone's liking. The storyline drew me in and I wanted to follow it. I really enjoyed visiting different worlds. It certainly keeps the game from getting boring. You never know where you will be next. There are few HO's, which for me is good. The puzzles are a good mix of difficulty. There's a jump map for those who like the convenience. I played on hardest difficulty and this game was very long for me. I did complete all the puzzles on my own so this helped it go on for a long time. Only downside which I think others have mentioned is that you MUST play bonus game to get an ending. This really isn't fair. Don't know how they will sell as SE without proper finish. However, those who love a moderately difficult, long game with few HO's should love this.
I recommend this game!

I really enjoyed this game. It was quite surprising because I found it harder than most games and I usually play on expert level. This was a real treat! It has a good storyline, nice graphics and music that didn't overwhelm. The mix of puzzles and HO's was just right. Game was fairly long for me (forgot to time it) as I wanted to figure out all puzzles on my own. Would recommend for those who love a challenge. Only downside was bonus game had lots of HOs and was less challenging than game and quite short.
I recommend this game!
There's a dark force at work in Pilgrim's Hook. Return to your childhood home and save your twin brother from the evil that lives beneath the sea.

I really liked everything about this game! Great storyline, good pacing, right amount of HO's and puzzles. Great graphics and good mood music. Great bonus game and extra bonus hunt as well as morphing creatures. Had to play straight through I was enjoying so much!
I recommend this game!

I won't go into describing the details of the game as the reviewers before me have done an excellent job. I love HO/Puzzle games so this game was a buy for me after playing the demo. Great graphics and music. Good storyline that actually plays out nicely. I play on Advanced and found HO's were pretty good. Some easy, some harder, but that just depended on the items on the list. They were also the kind that had one or two objects that required an extra step to find. A couple of those were a little unclear even after I found them, but most were well done. Puzzles overall were a good challenge. As with most games some easier, some harder. I found them to be a good mix. There were a couple of the kinds I don't like so I just skipped them. You do look for special hidden objects throughout the game. Some were a challenge to find which was good. The strategy guide is helpful if you need it. I needed it once because I just wasn't looking close enough in the scene for an item. I have no negatives, but just a comment that there were a couple of places in the game that what you do next or how to do is was not clear at all. I know that figuring things out is part of the challenge of the game, but they didn't really make much sense the way they played out. However, that was two things in a long game of many, many things to do and it's just my opinion. I definitely would recommend to anyone who likes HO/Puzzle games.

This was a little bit of a surprise that I loved this game this much! I guess to each his own, but I thought the storyline was involved (although not completely new), the graphics were crisp and beautiful, the winter theme was perfect especially for those of us who don't get snow, the music was just right and not annoying, not too many HOS (just the right amount). This was a fairly long game for me. I play on Advanced and do all the puzzles. Didn't time myself, but I did it over 2 days I believe. Would recommend to those who like HO with puzzles!
I recommend this game!
A classic Christmas tale tail, with a whole new twist! Help the Nutcracker rescue the princess from the evil Rat King!

I really love this game. It's got everything a great hidden object game should have; beautiful graphics, interesting storyline, appropriate and not annoying music, not too many HOS and a nice, long length. Bonus story also very good and long too! One of my fave games of 2012!
I recommend this game!
